“This company has been so responsive since the very first time I emailed them to request a quote! I cannot tell you what peace of mind that gave me and planning my husband’s birthday party. They are so amazing! Benito arrived early and had the food ready at five minutes before the start time for dinner. He was amazing! He was friendly and greeted all the guests. At the end of the evening he carefully packed up all of the food that was left and brought it inside. All of my guests were super impressed with the food! (The Pastor and Carnitas were my personal favorites). All of the food was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The meat they had was seriously the best meat that I’ve had from a taco stand in a long time. I went with the traditional five meats, and paid extra and got Carnitas and jumbo lime shrimp. The price was great and the quality was even better! I will definitely be using them again anytime I need a catering. This was for my husband‘s birthday party and we had about 45 guests and I had tons of food left over and everybody ate a lot at the party.“

“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“

“Churro man is the best churros I've had here in the SFV. The churros are made fresh to order and they come out super hot and crisp. They aren't too hard and are soft in the inside. The individual that makes the churros is always super courteous, kind and is super cool. I usually come here every other Friday and always get the 7 churros special. My Wedding was a week ago exactly and the venue is mesmerizing. Special Thanks to Gor and Vahan for providing an exceptional time and service. They worked with us throughout the entire process and made the whole thing come together in a seamless fashion, they are very professional and extremely helpful. The food is out of this world and the variety is jaw dropping. The level of customization is incredible but the ease of getting it all together makes it headache free. I can't recommend Grand Venue enough and if you have a special day coming up make sure to check them out.“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. “Came here alone on a Monday night and every single person working tonight was absolutely amazing. The most warm and friendly service and it was so nice to people watch here and see the staff treat the customers like they were family. It was so sweet. The food was also delicious. I had the presto set and loved the focaccia and soup. The linguine with clams was also yummy and i loved the tiramisu cake. She understood our prompt: enough meat, including wagyu, for a hot pot at home for 10 people the next day. She recommended a combo that she assured us was enough and indeed it was, almost more than enough! She got our information down for the next day's pickup.FOOD:Excellent. Every cut was displayed beautifully and labeled clearly, with good thin slices for hot pot purposes and the wagyu really showed off the marbling. However, there was one significant downside that left me slightly disappointed, and it's the reason I've docked a star from my review. The preparation of the ice cream cone left much to be desired. Typically, I expect my cone to be assembled in a specific order: ice, ice cream, ice, and then syrup. Unfortunately, the girl behind the counter didn't follow this sequence. Instead, she put the ice cream first, a move that initially caught me off guard. I didn't even realize she had added the ice cream until my observant friend pointed it out, as it was the first thing she did. Consequently, I assumed she had forgotten about my ice cream until I reached the bottom of the cone, where it was disappointingly mixed with water. This unexpected arrangement affected the texture and taste of my dessert, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. Despite this setback, I must commend the flavors of my cone, which were truly delicious. However, since it wasn't busy during my visit, I managed to find a spot without much trouble. Additionally, I'd like to mention that finding parking on the busy street was a bit challenging, but considering the unique experience and affordable prices, I'd say it's worth the drive. With a few adjustments in the preparation process and perhaps some expansion in the seating area, this place has the potential to become a top-notch dessert destination. I'm optimistic that my next visit will be even better, and I'm looking forward to seeing these improvements in action.“

“Aloha Catering has an amazingly epic ambiance with cool decor and festive for holidays. The patio is very spacious and hands down best Hawaiian local joints in LA. Most Hawaiian restaurants are in Soith Bay OC San Diego and Bay Area. Fortunately we are blessed on Los Angeles to have a venue such as this.“

“Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. Nomad Ice Pops is a great option when looking for a sweet frozen treat.“

“Came here on a Sunday after lunch and was surprised that there was no wait. We were able to try different flavors, but ended up getting a split child's scoop of fresh mint with cacao nibs and brown sugar vanilla bean. For child's scoop it was still a lot of ice cream! The fresh mint flavor was my favorite and was very refreshing. If you are in the area highly recommend!“

“I got the pork chops and luleh kebab. They both had a really amazing smoky flavor from the wood charcoal. The pork chops were a little too salty for me and a bit dry. I preferred the luleh. The ikra was so delicious. I would sediment recommend trying this place. Will come again.“

But we couldn't just leave out the deep fried Oreos.. So we ordered those too.OMG everything was soooo delish!!! And let's talk about that SPEEDY DELIVERY!!! “My boyfriend and I came in on a rainy day. There was enough seating for the both of us! There were many methods to order: through kiosk, QR code, or through the counter. We ended up using the kiosk to order and the baristas were very kind and friendly enough to offer their assistance if we had any questions. We asked about two different beverages and the barista answered thoroughly and professionally! Loved the service here.Now for the drinks - I got the Iced Vanilla Toddy with their signature house milk (lactose free). I absolutely enjoyed it!! If only I were a local to Pasadena, I would be a regular here just for that coffee.. My boyfriend chose a seasonal drink, Frozen Love Swirl, and it was very refreshing. For the prices, it was totally worth it!!Dietary restrictions: I love that their house milk is lactose free!“
