“First time coming to this hookah lounge and I’m honestly really impressed. I’ve lived in LA for the past two years and been to a lot of different spots, but this place definitely stands out. The vibe is great, the staff is super friendly, hookah was amazing. Set up is great, comfortable, and well organized. Easily one of the best lounge experiences I’ve had in Los Angeles so far. Definitely coming back.“
“Love this place, such a wonderful neighborhood gem. I'm so glad they're still here. Love the daily pop ups, especially my Triple Beam pizza! Cocktails are fantastic and love the wine selection. This place is on repeat for a reason. 🧡“
“Great local bar with a down to earth crowd. Bartenders are all great. The Photo Booth is always a great time. They have western nights on Wednesday’s which are really fun and a nice happy hour. Very queer friendly spot with diverse patrons. Delightfully free of the type of people you’d see at Bacari or 4100 Bar. Highly recommend to dimensional, chill locals.“

“Did my popup there on a Saturday and it was super fun!!! The whole Verdugo team were slammed but kept it together and stayed super positive and welcoming. The clientele were very friendly and patient. Everyone was mingling and the DJ was doing pretty good. I need to go back and dance!“

“Servers were great, food was good, love the eggs, turkey sausage good but need some moist, maybe some sort of sauce or something. BTW manager was concerned with apple pay that she wanted my ID 😅, apparently is safer with a fiscal card which I found kinda interesting (I wasn't dress for the occasion maybe thats why she thought so) was kinda uncomfortable. Overall recommended.“

“We went in search of the @losdoradosla truck and found it parked in front of La Cuevita. We ventured in at around 6p and discovered that it was still Happy Hour. My husband ordered an Old Fashion and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. I ordered a specialty vodka drink and it was refreshing. We’re definitely going back soon with friends!“

“Some buddies and I came here looking for craft cocktails. They did not disappoint. We ended up coming two nights in a row. If Grant is behind the bar, you’re in great hands. Let him do his thing. He’s truly a bartending gem. This place is lucky to have him.“
“Congrats on 20+ years of music and spreading the good word about Peirson Ross Music. We love you! ♥️✨✊🏼🎶“
“Awesome. Great food. Everything delicious, clean. Very nicely decorated.“
“Got an opportunity to sit down with the manager. The place is beautifully designed, a beautiful bar with a few options for table seating.
I loved the drink selections here! There were actually a few selection for non alcoholic and I have been doing a dry January.
Bartenders were friendly and helpful to find the drink that fits the moment.
Parking is great nearby and plenty of options for walkable food nearby“

“Great song and entertainment, and you never know who from music NYC you’ll run into at dinner!“
“My wife, daughter, and I went to The Echo last night to see SIAMES, and we had an absolute blast.
The venue is basically a small, dark box with a bar on the left and merch on the right as you face the stage. There is a bench wrapping around the back wall, which is great if you need a break from jumping around and screaming along with the band.
The place was sold out and packed, which is exactly what you would expect from a venue this size. If you need personal space, this probably is not your spot. But if you want an intimate, high-energy show where the crowd is right there with the band, it is a lot of fun.
The sound leveling was a little distorted at times, and it did feel like it could have used a better sound check, but SIAMES brought so much energy that it honestly did not ruin the night for us. We knew all the songs anyway and had a great time.
The staff also seemed to be enjoying the show, which added to the vibe. Drink prices were pretty much on par for the area and similar venues, but I am also old enough now that paying that much for a beer makes part of my soul leave my body. Still, if you just want something to keep your throat ready for more screaming, it does the job.
Overall, we had a fantastic night. The Echo is small, crowded, loud, and a little rough around the edges, but for the right show, that is exactly part of the charm.“
“Omg I spent my birthday here, and they were so amazing, attentive, helpful with the menu. The staff were absolutely delightful, plus they gave me a birthday card signed from them. I was so impressed by the presentation of the drinks and the quality of the food. My friends and I will definitely be going back!“
“Yesterday was the first time in this good restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the high quality cuisine and fine drinks and with the decent charge. We will absolutely return there again.“
“I'm a regular here at Der Wolf. The bartender, Ricky, made me a very nice tropical drink that definitely hit the spot. And let's not forget Taco Tuesday - the tacos are amazing, very delicious. I highly recommend. The dungeon is also nice; it's a little bit more intimate.“
“A great place to hang out in the afternoon and evening! The patio in the back is awesome when you just want to step away from the bar with your drink and chill. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone is well caken care of, so thank you Kiana, Ani, Nichole, Josh, and Daniel. You are the reason we keep coming back. Thank you Jordan and Marcie for your continued creativity in making the bar better for your patrons!“

“Fab service from Jenny. I love coming here as a special treat. The hotel is so gorgeous, with a beautiful, fragrant garden in the middle. The Lobby, where the tea is served, is exactly the sort of ambiance of a classic tea room if expect.
The food is decent, with the inventive pastries as the highlight. The service this time around was great. I opted for vegetarian options, which was accidentally forgotten by the kitchen. The server brought back extra sandwiches for the minor inconvenience.
You get two pots of tea to share with the table. We even got to take some to go, which I haven't experienced at any other tea services below. These small extra touches are much appreciated.
Definitely plan to come back again, especially given the rotating menu.“
“Modest crowd on Thursday night. We showed up at 10pm and were the only rwo people there. By 11pm the dj was rockin a good mix of old and new hip hop with some dancehall reggae. Booths are first come first serve it seems. I last came here 10 years ago and the vibe is just as fun still today.“

“This place really has its own atmosphere. The overall vibe is great, the alcohol selection is solid, and the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. What I liked most is that the place feels relaxed and comfortable. It does not have that aggressive energy some bars have, and it definitely does not feel like the kind of place where people are looking for trouble. The atmosphere inside feels warm and friendly.
The main downside for me was the music. It would be much better if the DJ played something that matched the actual mood of the place. When there are only two or three tables occupied, the music is still blasting as if the place is packed and everyone is waiting for a huge drop. That feels a bit out of sync with the otherwise chill and enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, it is a nice place with a lot going for it, but the music choice and volume could really make the experience much better.“
“Doug, the owner/lead bartender is the HOMIE and will turn on karaoke if you ask. Never overly crowded!“

“Pickle Beer, its what you should be getting when you come here. Maybe what added to this experience was when I had parked in the neighborhood behind the bars alley, in walking up the front entrance off of Los Feliz, the Pickle Beer van pulled up at the same time. That just peeked my intrigue right there and then. Plus, how can you not stop by a place named like this.
This is the East LA location as they have one located in Venice, CA as well.“

“Best place in Hollywood if you're trying to get THE HAPPY HOUR. I think it goes until 8. It's super convenient to have a parking lot next to it in such a busy area. Not to mention their wings and tacos are fantastic. And of course their bartenders are beyond excellent. Check it out on Tuesdays for rock nights and if you're trying to catch a Motown vibe go there Sundays.“
“Martinis have hair in the vodka. Not good for business. Bartender is rude“
“Nice bar with interesting locals. Misha is a wonderful bartender 🙂👍“
“About 40 of us came for an impromptu happy hour and manager Enrique and the staff were very kind and helpful. Everyone was served their drinks at the bar swiftly and we were able to mingle inside and outside while the sun set on the charming hotel rooftop. Great spot in central Hollywood.“

“This was my first time having the Classic Afternoon Tea at The Lobby Lounge. Because we got there late morning (10am) before most other guests, the venue was very quiet, which we enjoyed. The scones, sandwiches, and desserts were top quality, filling, and paired excellent with the two pots of tea provided. The service hosts pour and refill your teacup, so there is no need to do it yourself. There was a live pianist who added an additional touch of elegance. Afterwards, we had a lovely stroll through the grounds. Overall, a 10/10 experience!“

“My husband and I were visiting the LA area last week. We walked into Mi Piace - it was Monday, they were open when so many places weren’t. So glad we did. It was fabulous-great food, fair prices and a wonderful server. Try the minestrone. Amazing. Salad was great, too.“
“Came from the UK and stayed in the hotel opposite and visited this pub back in August a few times and found it very welcoming and managed to get a few games of pool in with the regulars who didn’t like me winning all the time 🤣😂. Bar staff are also great, if I pop over the pond again I will stop off there again.“
“LOVE this classic LA fixture on Sunset in Silverlake!“
“Traveled many the miles to come to this bar. Best experience in LA and easily the most delicious bespoke cocktails. Michael knows his craft damn well and will care to teach you. This is a must stop when in town. Much love to Kelly and Michael. Can’t wait to be back.“
“Great and very cozy spot with nice music and cool people! Little bit short with stuff compare with scope of work! But I used to work in the same industry so apsolutley understand, but on the other hand to wait at the bar to ordet coctails (they are not cheap) and leave a tip at the bar - I think you should consider the price and service! Anyway, I had great time!“
“Small venue with great acoustics! Went there to see Wst Cmplx perform their ever expanding set of what maybe best called Nouveau Jazz music. I've seen them several times now and as good as they always are, inexplicably, they sound better every time! Anyway, back to the venue. The acoustics were better that the acoustics at The Troubadour, of which I visited a few weeks ago. One thing though, we had to drive around the block since we drove right by the place. Better signage is probably a good idea.“

“Its my fave after party spot in Old Town. The place is huge and had a badass DJ. And it's free to get in. So if you like clubbing, this is it.
I like to order a few drinks at the front bar cause it has enough space where it's not too loud and when you get tipsy enough, go around the back to throw down.
I love it for Fri and Sat night“

“I used to come here about once a month for the fine food and fancy atmosphere. I used to love the steaks and salads and the several rooms with tables. It was a well known place all my life living up here in the foothills. But alas, good things never last. I went to eat a nice meal with my elderly mom and I ordered my usual even though they had changed the rules so you have to order each thing separately I didn't care about that nor the higher prices. I waa just looking forward to a decent streak and veggies. Well when my steak was brought to the table with the vegetables.I noticed that not only was the steak full of so much fat.I could hardly get any meat but the vegetables were cold and after maybe five ten minutes, the waiter came back and I told him, please take this back to the chef and show him the amount of fat that is on this steak.I hardly got any meat at all.And the vegetables were cold when I got them. He came back from the chef and said, well, he's gonna comp. The vegetables, but you're gonna have to pay for your steak. I was furious that they would serve a poor quality of steak and charge a price as if were high quality. I literally had to fight the gristle to get a few measly pieces of steak. It wasn't the money. I was angry that the quality of the meat is was so bad at one of my regular steak places. It made me so mad I stopped going there completely. I wish it were how it was before and am still agonizing over it. Just wanted to vent as the owner hopefully will read this and I beseech him to reach out and prove to me things have turned around. I miss the food and the nice rich atmosphere. If not I guess I will continue my trips to fogo de chat or the Smokehouse or Damon's.“
