If you're looking for a curated wine list with excellent European and American options served alongside a stacked food menu this is your spot. It's not cheap but the quality of the food and service is well worth the price. We've needed elevated dining in Alhambra for years and we finally have it with Yang's.“

“Was surprised at how large the serving size was at majordomo. We had ordered the smoked half bo saam, ibérico pork, and tuna carpaccio. All were so delicious, not a miss for any of them. The Bo saam was my favorite for sure, and we luckily had plenty leftover. I'd definitely recommend coming on an empty stomach to ensure that you're able to enjoy multiple dishes. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the short rib. Overall this is a great place to come for a special occasion with a large group. Make sure to make reservations some time in advance!“

“I've been wanting to try different omakase places in the LA area for a while now, and stumbled upon Omakase by Ozen online - and I'm glad I came! Reservations were made quickly and easily via Yelp, and I love that I was able to change my reservation time without much of a hassle. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate after I took the MCAT, so we were extremely hungry when we got here. I think this place might have had valet out front, but we opted to just find street parking in the neighborhood for a ~5 minute walk (which worked out afterwards since it let us walk off our food!). The actual restaurant is a very small and quaint place; we sat at a table instead of the bar but I thought the decorations were very cute. Service was very fast and attentive. They handed us a menu as soon as we came in, and we ordered the $130 omakase - which was a pretty good deal for the quality of the food and the whole experience. I do have to say that I was not full after the meal (so my boyfriend and I ended up getting more food afterwards at a different place), but I did enjoy my time here. Definitely worth a try if you're celebrating because of the food and the service, but I personally don't think I'd come back for the omakase.“

Tonia, the waitress had a warm smile and very attentive. I started with a Lychee Martini which was ok. The cocktail Kamata Club Blue had a very nice presentation. The Wild Salmon in Thai Vinaigrette was a refreshing appetizer. I also had the Thai Royal Curry with Soft Shell Crabs and Madame Noi’s Pork Collar. For dessert, I finished with Tropical Panna Cotta Coconut Bowl. I enjoyed the dinner. I have one more good restaurant on my dining list.“

“Authentic Szechuan hot pot. Has all the usual items and the tomato broth is pretty flavorful if you want a non-spicy option. They have a mini bar with all the sauces and sides, plus some tasty desserts. My fave from there was the coconut jelly which has a nice addition of crunchy flakes that adds a nice texture and flavor. Faves for the hot pot itself was the ribeye and shrimp paste, the latter of which was served by the staff as they scooped them into balls for the soup. I would avoid the beef balls because they were pretty tough for my liking. Also the rice noodles require a lot of cooking and were still pretty chewy after a while.“

For the Fish fillet and Frog in Sichuan Mala Broth, it's the size for two people with many fish fillet and frogs inside the large pot. “I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and this place has just become my go to. I have had the pad see we and pad Thai and both were delicious. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint.
