YUZU PONZU SAUCE + Sweet CHILI sauce they said you can mix up to 3 sauces free. *Honestly I wish I added a creamy sauce ! “I have a lot of solo dining experiences due to work travel, and this was one of the best. Not only did Providence allow me to start earlier than anticipated, they also had a delightful bartender who provided me some excellent reading material as I dined (I do like to read between dishes when I dine alone). The spot prawn are in season and very good, and the other dishes are lovely as well. Appreciate the attention to detail, including touches on the food such as flowers from the rooftop garden. “I went to Lonely Oyster with three amazing friends for dinner last night and we all had a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the food was to die for! Caesar salad = delicious, oysters were perfection, the calamari was the best I've had--just the perfect amount of crisp and flavor, and the cream sauce was sooooo damn delicious I wanted to lick it out of the ramekin when I was done with the calamari! The Australian wagyu ranchera was cooked just right and oh so tender and scrumptious--just the right amount of that perfect salty flavor! Very addictive taste! The grilled mushroom skewers were so damn delicious and had a nice grilled flavor to them, and the espelette chimichurri was a divine addition. My favorite overall was the lobster mac n cheese! Overall: 10/10 and I would recommend this to upscale foodies and surf n turf newbies alike! Highly recommended to all! “We love Found Oyster!!! It’s like this restaurant was made for us!! Really good wine list with different varietals than some other local places, and orange wines! “I've been wanting to try different omakase places in the LA area for a while now, and stumbled upon Omakase by Ozen online - and I'm glad I came! Reservations were made quickly and easily via Yelp, and I love that I was able to change my reservation time without much of a hassle. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate after I took the MCAT, so we were extremely hungry when we got here. I think this place might have had valet out front, but we opted to just find street parking in the neighborhood for a ~5 minute walk (which worked out afterwards since it let us walk off our food!). The actual restaurant is a very small and quaint place; we sat at a table instead of the bar but I thought the decorations were very cute. Service was very fast and attentive. They handed us a menu as soon as we came in, and we ordered the $130 omakase - which was a pretty good deal for the quality of the food and the whole experience. I do have to say that I was not full after the meal (so my boyfriend and I ended up getting more food afterwards at a different place), but I did enjoy my time here. Definitely worth a try if you're celebrating because of the food and the service, but I personally don't think I'd come back for the omakase.“

“Loreto is currently my favorite restaurant. I don’t even consider myself a seafood person but wow, every dish they have brings me closer to it. Drinks, food, desserts, and service are all impeccable. Tonight we got to do the omakase which was so unique and a really amazing experience. All the dishes were creatively thought out with seasonal ingredients in mind. I’ll definitely be coming back in the summer for their next one!!“

“Best fish tacos on the east side. Could eat them once a week. Made to order from a taco truck so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Wish they were there later but great for an early dinner or lunch. My favorite is the recommended shrimp and cheese one and soft shell crab“

“I am not exaggerating when I say that lunch at Mother Tongue surpassed our wildest expectations. Truly, if I could gave this place 10 stars, I would! Everything from the very friendly, efficient service to the wonderful atmosphere (just loved their decor, color scheme and relaxing background music) to the excellent food was outstanding! They made our wedding anniversary lunch really special! Recommend the delicious black kale salad and wild salmon bowl. Their yuzu pana cotta and soft serve sundae desserts are to die for!! “This place is excellent. Every dish we tried was good, but the standouts for me were the clam toast and crispy potatoes. The bread for the toast was perfect and the potatoes were just the right amount of fluffiness on the inside and crispy outside. My mouth is watering just writing this. “The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. “I tried out Playita Mariscos for lunch. I've been driving by for a long time. It is owned by the Guisados people so I expected the food to be good. I ordered the Campechana Mixta. The cold tomato broth was fantastic. I really like the raw shrimp, crab and fish. The Octopus was a little tough for my taste. They have a parking lot, which on Sunset, is a plus.“

“This is a restaurant which is as noisy as it should be. It always seems like the neighborhood is all here and they're having a great time. And why not? The food is great, the space is cozy and charming the margarita's are fine and it all adds up. This is, by far, our favorite and Mexican restaurant and one of our favorites overall!“

“Chito's is my new spot to go when I'm craving food that is authentic, fresh, delicious, and as I like to say "comida de casa". This spot is at their home and they have a beautiful set up 3 tables and lots of chairs for people to sit down and enjoy their food while enjoying the California sun and weather. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and they asked us if this was our first time, if it is, you'll get a delicious free taco (unheard of in LA)! They kindly take credit cards and Apple Pay, making it all that much easier to go and eat a delicious meal. The food was FANTASTIC. We ordered the ceviche, the shrimp, fish, and marlin taco, and the fish basket. Everything was soooo delicous tasty, flavorful. Located in a small little plaza by a 7-11, you would have never known this was here. You'd have no idea the hidden gem hidden in the corner would have some of the best Peruvian food I've ever had. “If you want a Peruvian food experience, dine at Bodegon No 69 In Old Town Pasadena. We were able to dine indoors without a reservation (short wait). We were seated in their private dining area as tables indoors were full. For starters, we got the jalea mixta and empanadas (beef and chicken). If you like deep fried seafood, get the jalea mixta. Their empanadas was crispy, stuffed with fillings of choice. For ceviches, get the ceviche B69, which includes a variety of seafood. For entrees, I recommend the arroz con mariscos (seafood paella) and lomo saltado. Both are popular dishes and very flavorful. They give a generous amount of seafood. Drinks were okay, I wasn't impressed with the presentation or taste. Service was friendly. Just took long for food to come out in between meals. Overall, lively atmosphere and authentic Peruvian food!“

Last night we enjoyed @majordomola . Koreanish food, at it's best generous and full flavoured. “This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“

“Came here on a Monday around 8 pm. Luckily we got a free meter right outside. The inside wasn't busy, only a few parties compared to the large grand space they had. The inside is bright with tall ceilings, carpeted floor, large round tables with lazy Susan's for groups and big comfy booths lining the walls. The women working were friendly and efficient. One spoke a bit of mandarin with me. The group ordered mostly American Chinese dishes that they enjoyed and nearly finished. I ordered xiao long bao for the table and they were pretty good for the price. They were piping hot and juicy. Hot tea was complimentary but their Thai tea also slaps! Would come again and try more things. Probably one of the better xiaolongbao and other dumpling deals in the area.“
