“This place is great! Everyone that works there is so nice and really efficient. The portions are really good. Their kimchi is very yummy! If you have never tried it now is the time. The dinner price went up since the last time we went, but still a good value.“

“Hidden gem fire a quick, affordable bite. Mushroom chicken-Big plump pieces of mushroom, snappy zucchini, crunchy, juicy, just-cooked sliced onion, nice raw onion flavor. Curry chicken- not over powering curry flavor, just an itty bitty kick, the potatoes are cooked all the way through and the carrots are soft and sweet which tells me this curry was left to simmer to meld all the flavors. Yes I came in very hungry but for a typical buffet-tray-under-a-lamp place, it is definitely better than average. A two item combo with plenty of chow mein with sliced cabbage was $10.50 before tax. I brought home a medium sized a la carte chicken with mushroom entree, less than $10 with tax. Bring cash if you can, $15 minimum for card purchase. Oh, and the owners were not only super nice but they seemed really grateful for each customer.“

“Ate dine in at this little hole-in-the-wall joint on a recent visit to LA. Close (street) parking was a miracle, but theres also parking (and bathrooms) across the street at the El Super. Portions for a Boil Bag were generous, one corn, potato, rice and a few broccoli were included. All amenities were provided: table paper, bibs, sanitizer, bucket, gloves, scissors for crab legs. Cajun garlic butter seasoning was delicious, not too spicy for the kids. Speaking of kids, seafood boil keep kids remarkably entertained! This place deserves all the good reviews. Our only (small) complaint is the distance to a bathroom, but it's a small price to pay for a delicious meal.“

While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked at how people use their "power of the word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all-time favorite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "You give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree.So If I had a say on this portal, I would offer just to see the ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this does not correspond to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. “I ordered takeout- i got the Dan Mein Short Rib with the Baby Bok Choy in extra garlic. As usual it was delicious and fresh- but they are using an app now to order and they really thought about the customer when they made it because you can add or remove any ingredient on every dish and if it's not listed -there is an option to write a note with your request. I know this seems basic- but I have encountered alot of apps that wont let me add or specify how I want it - like if I want it cooked well done or extra toasted.
I liked the option to choose what side or sauce (like their fresh cut ginger or chili oil) and how many I wanted and if I needed plates or utensils.

“Had takeout as an employee luncheon, and they got everything spot on. Food was perfectly packed and super delicious. The fried rice is very tasty and had a good texture just how I like it. Chow mein was very tasty as well. We will definitely order from here again.“

It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.“

“I went here for the first time on a Tuesday night. They have a physical menu and an online menu. My friend and I ordered a bunch of thin slices of meat. Lamb and beef. We tried pig brain, I did not like it. My favorites were the lamb slices. I also tossed in a block of udon noodles into the broth. The combination of chewy udon with lamb was phenomenal. We also ordered plenty of vegetables but some of their names I don't know. I let my friend mix in the sauces to make one whole sauce. It was a sweet sauce. The service was really good. They were always checking on us. The waitress was very helpful with our questions.“

We ran into some kitchen workers and they told us maybe another 30 minutes before their boss came with the key. We eventually got inside and they were slow to get our order. I eventually just wrote out what dishes we wanted. I would avoid the water here if you eat in. The interior is fairly small and very basic. They have some seating inside and we were a party of 7 including 2 kids. Other than that, the food itself is amazing. We ordered the pepper beef, orange chicken, chow fun with beef, house fried rice, and some dim sum dishes for the kids we literally have nothing negative to say about the food. It was so good and really reminded us of home. The miki bihon was legit as well. I liked the Maki but my dad said it should not have ginger in it. Must try little hole in the wall.“
