Starbucks in La Mesa

“As a small local business myself, I always appreciate supporting other local businesses. They’ve never gotten my order wrong and every drink is made better than the last. I appreciate their drive-through and that they keep it moving for busy girls like me.“

“Huge location, and amazing staff. They greet you as you enter and serve you quickly as possible in a great humble professional manner. I was there for almost 4 hrs. They keep the restrooms clean and periodically sweep the floor and wipe the tables. This will be my favorite location. Keep up the good work everyone.“

“This starbucks is inside Albertsons, and it's pretty amazing. The service is quick and the two gentlemen that I interacted with were courteous. The drink was good and the sandwich that I ordered was fresh and hot.
The whole area is nice and clean. They do have a little nook where they have a bunch of cups if anyone is searching for that special cup.

Parking: Parking is the Albertsons parking lot.“

“This is a great Starbucks. You've got a great staff, a bookstore right next door, there's always a seat outside for me and my pup. And it's walkable if you're near Grossmont center and a few steps away from the trolley orange and green lines.“

“Since I moved to La Mesa, it's become routine to get Starbucks everyday, and this is by far my favorite. Not only can I get the best and quickest coffee compared to all of the other Starbucks locations in the area, but the baristas here - shout outs to Rocky, Ken, Taylor, Annabelle, Kellie and the rest I see less often! - are really genuinely nice people who have given me the best sense of community I've had since moving to California.“

“I got a cold brew and they forgot the syrup but, the lady in the drive thru was so nice. I mean I brought it back as I drove off and tasted it was missing the syrup plus the extra that I asked for..but no problem she was so nice. I mean goes over and beyond. Good workers in there. Good attitude. Very polite and goes extra mile. That's a good worker. Greeting and service wise. Young man didn't greet but he's very task focused and so that's good too. Will be back . I should have tipped.. im new here lol.. .I barely go to Starbucks but got hooked 3 x now on the White chocolate macadamia nut cold brew.O my goodness... It is kind of odd that the app says all of the locations are out of ALL COLD BREWS ... so dont let that stop u. Im New to the app too.fresh out the cave here. But I'm glad they had it. Gives about 4 hour energy for me to work ?????... good attitude in workers really can brighten your day. Good character. Good workers. Clean place. “The manager told me that they don’t give cream on the side and if I wanted it they would charge me for it. I have been going here for years. Looks like our relationship is over. I’ll never go here again and I am gonna tell everyone I know to do the same. So ticked-off.

Parking: It’s a very small parking lot.“

“Staff here is always nice and pleasant. Drinks come out the way I like and they're made to the standard. Only disappointment is the remodel that got rid of the inside, it sucks to stand out in the cold (yes even in San Diego) waiting for my drink and/or food.“

“Don't let your vendors park in Handicapped Parking- especially when it's brought to the attention the store Manager and she does nothing but say, "ok." Not "ok" make them move. Otherwise still great coffee and excellent service.“

“Staff often seem annoyed with customers. I wasn't sure that I was heard over the noise outside in the drive-thru and waited a minute or two and then checked to make sure they heard me, kindly. The barista/staff was visibly annoyed once we got to the window. I didn't want to waste their time if they were waiting on me and just didn't hear me. Grabbing our drinks and the barista was so short with us, it was off putting. This location is usually great. I'm going to assume today was an off day for certain staff members and maybe they will be more pleasant next time.“
