Starbucks in La Mesa

“First of all, the place is kept clean and is very spacious. The staff is friendly and are always very accommodating. The one issue at this place is when is busy and they have multiple food orders it can sometimes feel like it comes to a halt. So, if you are in a rush I suggest to order ahead using the mobile app. Other than that I enjoy coming at this location and enjoy my coffee while doing some work.“

“My recent visit to the Starbucks coffee shop was fantastic, largely due to an outstanding employee named Alex.
Alex exemplified excellent customer service from the moment I walked in. They were genuinely welcoming, patient while I decided on my order, and offered helpful suggestions for a new seasonal drink which I ended up loving. The interaction was efficient yet personalized, making me feel valued as a customer rather than just another transaction.
The coffee shop itself was clean and maintained the typical cozy Starbucks atmosphere, but Alex's positive energy and professional demeanor truly elevated the entire experience. Their friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my drink was perfect deserves commendation.

“This is a great Starbucks. You've got a great staff, a bookstore right next door, there's always a seat outside for me and my pup. And it's walkable if you're near Grossmont center and a few steps away from the trolley orange and green lines.“

“Huge location, and amazing staff. They greet you as you enter and serve you quickly as possible in a great humble professional manner. I was there for almost 4 hrs. They keep the restrooms clean and periodically sweep the floor and wipe the tables. This will be my favorite location. Keep up the good work everyone.“

“Great place for a cup of. coffee after a walk around Lake Murray. The parking lot can be difficult to navigate at times, so I recommend parking on the street. The new furniture is less comfortable than before, and you may have a hard time getting a place to sit on the side. Fortunately, there always seems to be a spot in front of the store.“

“This starbucks is inside Albertsons, and it's pretty amazing. The service is quick and the two gentlemen that I interacted with were courteous. The drink was good and the sandwich that I ordered was fresh and hot.
The whole area is nice and clean. They do have a little nook where they have a bunch of cups if anyone is searching for that special cup.

Parking: Parking is the Albertsons parking lot.“

“Had the occasion to be in La Mesa and drove by and saw Starbucks so I went in for my favorite hot chai tea latte made with half and half. It was made to perfection. The cashier was very nice and the line although long moved very quickly along. Thank you Starbucks for my happy drink“

“Don't let your vendors park in Handicapped Parking- especially when it's brought to the attention the store Manager and she does nothing but say, "ok." Not "ok" make them move. Otherwise still great coffee and excellent service.“

“Today, a young lady named Sierra I think, was working alone, she took an order made the order cleaned up and then went to the next person thanking them for their patience. She kept a smile on her face and never once complained about being alone. She took a little longer but made each person feel like they mattered. Great job young lady!!!“

“Pros: Beautiful upgrades to this location friendly staff and orders that are always correct.
Cons: They took away half the seating area for people to sit and talk or study and removed virtually all of the outlets so you cant stay extended hours and study.“
