We recently bought one of their products, “Don Chili Oil Crunch”to try at home and it’s phenomenal! I’ve made fried rice with it and also dip all my steamed vegetables in it. Not too spicy, subtly sweet, and the perfect amount of crunch. Will definitely return for more!“

“Definitely some of the very best pho Long Beach has to offer (several sizes available for most the small or regular seems to be sufficient. They do have L & XL sizes available for the truly very hungry guests).

The broth is neither too salty nor too sweet- spiced perfectly not at all cloying as some can be.

Fried bread is a great accompaniment. Don’t miss out on the fried egg rolls which are fantastic too.“

“I randomly discovered the place for Ban Xeo. Quite an interesting dish. It is very crispy. You wrap each bite with the lettuce.
I am new to it, so my table was a bit of a mess.

The owner, a guy, spoke english. That’s good.

There was a sign that says they’ll take credit card, but charge a $1 fee. I think that’s a bit steep.

“Been here twice for a takeout, once for garlic noodles and once for the vermicelli. Both were delicious.
The chicken I had with garlic noodles was well-seasoned and not too salty, and wasn't dry. The pork I had with the vermicelli was also well-seasoned. The garlic noodles came with thinly sliced, sauteed beans of some kind and had a nice crispy texture. The vermicelli came with sliced almonds, lettuce, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and cucumber and were fresh.
It's a relatively small shop, so a large party of 6+ should probably do a takeout.“

“Solid pho tai for $13, lots of noodles, meat, and broth. The meat is a little too lean and I wish I could get a larger side of hoisin and chili sauce when dining in. All the side addons came in a little baggie, and the mung bean sprouts seemed to be cut in half. Overall, rather go here than drive into LA for Pho 87.“

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. I almost never eat out, but I would if I lived near Soup Shop.“

“Came here for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by how great the food and service was. We were greeted very warmly and well taken care of. I got the shaken beef salad and my friend got the vermicelli dish. Both were delicious. Looking forward to coming here next time!“

“Best Hoi An food in Orange County! We had the Cao lầu, bánh đập, and nem lụi thịt nướng. All three were fantastic! The owner was very friendly, and even brought us free chè for dessert! The menu is also quite large, with some great choices available that you can't find at other Vietnamese restaurants. I also appreciate the traditional Hoi An lanterns for decor. Plenty of parking available outside. 16 tables, each of which seats four, with the option to push together for larger groups.“

“First time trying Mr. Baguette. I noticed on the menu that they have authentic Vietnamese and American Vietnamese Bánh mì. For me, I always select authentic cuisine special #1. “Came on someone’s recommendation. My first impression was that they were understaffed and looked overwhelmed. There’s only a handful of full of tables in this modest restaurant. The wait was 30-45 minutes even though there weren’t that many customers. But we were invested after 15 minutes, so figured we’d rough it out. So glad we did because the food was sooooooo good. The portions are generous and everything tastes so fresh. The prices are also low compared to other places with less good food. They could easily raise their prices by $5 and I would still think it was worth it because it was so good. So come but be prepared to wait even when it’s not busy. Cash only. There’s street parking or if you can find the hidden side street that leads to their parking lot in the rear.“
