“The food here is SO good. But, they have messed up my order twice now with giving me my sides and they don’t give me all that I order. I ordered chow main, fried rice, and egg rolls and none of it was received. I called them and let them know I’m disabled and can’t come in to return my food and they told me to leave a note in my order to prevent this from happening again. Food is delicious so I keep coming back and I’m grateful they exist.

Vegetarian options: Amazing vegetarian and vegan selection. I get kung pao tofu, fried rice, chow main, hot and sour soup, and egg rolls are all a must!!!“

All menu items are available for takeout, and there is a small lobby area with tables and chairs for your convenience.The portion sizes are enjoyable, and everything on the menu is delicious. I’m a foodie and this was no disappointment. We ordered Dan Dan noodles, Orange Chicken, Juicy Pork Dumplings, and broccoli beef. All were so tasty and so incredibly fresh; one of the best new additions in Huntington Beach period. Normally I’m hesitant to order orange chicken because it always seems to be a disappointment but this Orange chicken was actually the best I’ve ever had.

Next time I will definitely be ordering chili beef, green beans and pan fried dumplings as they looked amazing. If this place continues to stay consistent with quality and freshness, it will be non-stop busy.

“First, they bring out a small bowl of salted, roasted peanuts to snack on while you peruse the menu. The egg drop soup feeds 3-4 people. It’s huge. The dinner portions are massive. The service was absolutely 5-star and fast! We were encouraged by the fact that most of our fellow diners were Asian, and there was a steady flow of traffic. The vibe was classic and nostalgic: red carpets, framed press clippings, a very cash-blessed Buddha at the entrance, and servers who move with the quiet efficiency of a place that’s been doing this right for decades.

We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the fried pork chops with jalapeños — both excellent. The noodles were perfectly chewy with a subtle smoky wok flavor, not too oily, and generous with chicken and vegetables. The pork chops were addictive — crispy on the outside, tender inside, with just the right kick from the jalapeños.

Service was kind and fast. Portions were generous. Prices reasonable. There’s something reassuring about a restaurant that isn’t trying to be trendy — just consistently good.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lee's BBQ & Boba Chinese Food. I was thoroughly impressed! The flavors are absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared perfectly. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the variety of options on the menu made it hard to choose just one. Never had a bad meal in anything I've tried, although the curry could be kicked up a notch. Staff is attentive and friendly. Prices are very reasonable to portions served. Hard to beat the lunch deals too! Their hot & sour soup is the best around. Often have the large bowl with a side of brown rice as a lunch meal.

The wontons in chili oil were good but i think the shape of the dumplings made the sauce not stick very well. Overall a great place to get dim sum. We had been searching for a venue that could comfortably accommodate 300–400 guests, felt modern and elegant, and offered great value. After speaking with multiple places, the team here stood out immediately for their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care, especially Laura, who helped us understand what the venue provided before we booked it.

Our ceremony and reception both took place inside the restaurant, and even though another event was happening in a different section of the venue, we barely noticed thanks to the effective soundproofing.

The space had a romantic and modern vibe, complete with golden chairs, multiple LED screens showcasing our wedding photos, custom lighting with our names on the dance floor, and a romantic sweetheart table. “just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.“

Everything in New China is cooked on request, so the food is fresh. Some dishes can take an hour, two, or three hours to prepare. So order your food about one to two hours ahead when you want to pick it up, and they will prepare it for that time so it is hot off the wok.

We love this place. We discovered it earlier this month, in January 2025, and have already been twice as a group of six. We order way too much food to sample, which still comes under $30 per person.

This is the absolute freshest, tastiest Chinese food around. One of our couples has been eating Chinese around the Whittier area for over 30 years, and they were also there for the first time this month. They were jonesing to go back so soon. We still need to try the moo shu pork. I need to order that one 3 hours ahead of time.

One woman does everything out front, and two or three men cook in the back. The last time we arrived, two other couples were dining, and the service was excellent. That night, there was a notice on the door that said no drop-in take-out (see above about ordering ahead). Service can be slower if several groups arrive simultaneously, but the food is well worth it. If you want, you can take your time at this restaurant with a dinner lasting two or three hours and won't be rushed out. It's a great place to go as a group or a couple.“

“Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!

Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!

Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!

The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~“

“The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.“
