“What a great service, they’re fast and quick to reply back to your text messages. Only had a week to plan and make the cake and they knock it out the park. The cake was for my little nephew and he loved Sonic The Hedgehog… trust me when I say that my nephew was super happy and smiling hard! “I am literally here ALL THE TIME! I purchase bread for new neighbors that move into our area... I like to place the Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and a loaf of bread in a bag as a housewarming gift. I do recommend you call ahead or come early.

The Miche is my favorite for grilled cheese sandwiches on the panini grill. Lemon Rosemary is another savory favorite as well as the recently added Cranberry Jalapeno.

“Grew up going to this panaderia. I stopped going for awhile, it's been a few years. I finally went back recently. And Even better than I remember it. The delicious pan dulce, champurrado, Cinnamon tea, bollio con jalapeño & cream cheese, also with papas & chorizo, ready mady sandwiches? cant go wrong! “Scrumptious, moist, and irresistible describes the cake I ordered from Some Crust for my mother’s memorial service reception. The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.“

So when he gets there, he is getting Conchas and quernos, and he asks her if there is any more bolillo and guess what she said: "Yes, I have a couple left. These are the last ones and they are the small ones. My son brings them home, and they are the big ones. I am glad she gave them to my son. My son is a handsome boy and courteous, so I think she liked him. And gave him those last pieces. That was a blessing. Their bolillo is so good. Mmm. Warm out of their oven with a little butter, and they got me. Fresh Mexican bread on the daily. Very nice bakers and clerks. Fresh coffee in the morning. This amazing staff got up at 3 am to make sure the order was there and on time. Rave reviews were emailed to me about the quality and care of the delicious care packages given to each of those important caregivers at the hospital. First rate care and preparation. If you're going to go with any breads, I'd say stick to the Asian fillings like taro or red bean: those were best. I was not impressed by the chocolate stuff. “Based off my experience coming in 40 minutes before they closed, I was in awe of the ice drip coffee experiment that they had going on. Their menu is pretty well written as they accomdate with different teas or for people who don't like coffee. I enjoyed the bread that was available, I recommend the jalapeno bagel and cream cheese was offered as a side. I would come back here again I enjoyed my coffee, I got the xoco iced latte and the iced mango tea.“

“Love the cake… it’s light, airy and delicious! I ordered it through the phone Saturday and got it the next day the following morning for my best friends birthday!!! I got a coconut flavor and they used shaved coconut which gave it a delicious texture to the cake. The frosting was not too sweet as well. The cake was $35 plus i got two birthday candles for the age which they have and it was worth the extra few dollars ! ($1-2)“

I loved their bread so much that I now must go there to get my bread.

Their tamales are delicious as well! 🫔

And I love their empanadas🥟 with custard.

Their cheesecake is delicious too!

They also have a fridge selling sparkling water, jarritos, Jumex, gallons of milk,🥛 juice, 🧃bed quick, and ofc canned sodas too.

They have comfortable indoor seating booths too!

And when you come in it smells so good 😊 👍!.

I absolutely recommend this panadería to anyone who needs/wants bread, tamales, birria, pan, or pan dulce!!!

Vegetarian options: Most all breads are vegetarian with the exception of some dishes that have meat, but are clearly labeled.

Dietary restrictions: They have multiple lower sugar breads, and most of their items are vegetarian. But I'm not sure if there are vegan items as well.

Parking: Street Parking, difficult to find parking as they are always popular.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They can smell the breads and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough to go in with wheelchair but there's no wheelchair seating I noticed.“

“From the owner and his family down to the little guys in the kitchen...this is the Winchell's to go to...every morning and more often than not every night. If they ever get rid of Herman (can't imagine it happening) then they are effectively getting rid of me as well.“

“So many different kinds of rice cake and they even sell Kimbap! But make sure to go early because the kimbap sells quickly and there is a limited amount each day. The new owner is very kind and it looks like they are trying to remodel the place because during both my visits, I've seen it change. I saw these catering orders on a table and they looked so delicious so I had to take a picture!“

Even when they were at the old location by Los Portales in chino. I’ve also been to the other location by Los Portales in Montclair. They weren’t very talkative but they are fast.
