I took a chance and called Colee's, she's so nice, and guess what, she took the order for that same weekend. We worked out the details and I picked it up soon after. Let me just say, everything from the jump was already 5 stars, and then we cut the cake...delicious! The cake was moist, the buttercream was delicious and the design was exactly what I asked for. “I am literally here ALL THE TIME! I purchase bread for new neighbors that move into our area... I like to place the Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and a loaf of bread in a bag as a housewarming gift. I do recommend you call ahead or come early.

The Miche is my favorite for grilled cheese sandwiches on the panini grill. Lemon Rosemary is another savory favorite as well as the recently added Cranberry Jalapeno.

“I needed a catering job for the entire LA County/USC ER Room medical staff and all support personnel. 150 complete box lunches and I needed them delivered to East Los Angeles by 11.30 am. This amazing staff got up at 3 am to make sure the order was there and on time. Rave reviews were emailed to me about the quality and care of the delicious care packages given to each of those important caregivers at the hospital. First rate care and preparation. “I was looking for an Oreo cake and this is the only bakery that had one near me. It’s inside the grocery store, near the right side entrance. Everything looked delicious and fresh. “Scrumptious, moist, and irresistible describes the cake I ordered from Some Crust for my mother’s memorial service reception. The cake was impeccably crafted and the designers decorated it in exactly the manner in which we requested, “Not too much.” The frosting was strikingly smooth and the piping adorned only the bottom of the cake, ensuring the decoration was not too much. The colors of the yellow and red roses and the green leaves on top of the cake were tastefully muted and maintained the minimal emphasis of the decorations. It was a spice cake in which all the flavors blended perfectly without one flavor standing out too predominantly. It was delivered exactly at the time it was scheduled to arrive at the location. I highly recommend this bakery when you have an occasion that requires a specialty cake.“

“This is a small Lebanese joint with a busy oven. It’s technically a bakery. It’s like you went to the Middle East in a Beirut neighborhood or Egyptian or Saudi strip mall. The food is traditional Lebanese and has an Arabic influence. Pies, veggies and lebnah, very tasty at great prices. This is a rare find and I think for Claremont it’a a beauty to have such a rare shop in its back yard.“

They bake their bread freshly and the bakery smells delicious.

I loved their bread so much that I now must go there to get my bread.

Their tamales are delicious as well! 🫔

And I love their empanadas🥟 with custard.

Their cheesecake is delicious too!

They also have a fridge selling sparkling water, jarritos, Jumex, gallons of milk,🥛 juice, 🧃bed quick, and ofc canned sodas too.

They have comfortable indoor seating booths too!

And when you come in it smells so good 😊 👍!.

I absolutely recommend this panadería to anyone who needs/wants bread, tamales, birria, pan, or pan dulce!!!

Vegetarian options: Most all breads are vegetarian with the exception of some dishes that have meat, but are clearly labeled.

Dietary restrictions: They have multiple lower sugar breads, and most of their items are vegetarian. But I'm not sure if there are vegan items as well.

Parking: Street Parking, difficult to find parking as they are always popular.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They can smell the breads and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough to go in with wheelchair but there's no wheelchair seating I noticed.“

It's my go-to place for a quick n' yummy breakfast or tea party pastries. it's a traditional bakeshop, nothing fancy. But they know what they are doing. Their owner, Leo and I created a lot beautiful and delicious wedding cakes together. He is very easy to work with and will go the extra miles to meet your request. They are specialized in fresh cream cake with fresh fruit ingredients. And their price is really reasonable, too. This is definitely a hidden jewel in our neighborhood. “The breads are huge and stuffed with delicious and flavorful flavors. They have try outs with led us to buy even more since they were all so yummy! When we were checking out the lady let us know if we buy one more we would get one for free and she was so helpful and patient! I highly recommend the coconut and pumpkin! The bread were all so soft and fresh! There’s also a coffee and chicken place in the same store. Each bread was around $4-5 on average but the size was bigger than most places like 85.“

Drove over and it appears the original location was in the indoor swap meet; but due to covid, they placed a popup location out in the parking lot. Line moved quickly and you had churros that could be filled up with dulce de leche, lechera o de fresa. I picked the lechera. Flavor was good, only problem was that the lechera didn't really stay inside the churro; it just dripped out the bottom.“

“So many different kinds of rice cake and they even sell Kimbap! But make sure to go early because the kimbap sells quickly and there is a limited amount each day. The new owner is very kind and it looks like they are trying to remodel the place because during both my visits, I've seen it change. I saw these catering orders on a table and they looked so delicious so I had to take a picture!“
