“Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m from Australia and came to LA for a wedding. A year later and I’m still dreaming about the fish tacos and aguachile. The seafood was so fresh, friendly and quick service. I couldn’t believe the fresh quality seafood was so cheap. Hope to eat at this place again.“

“It’s a good locally owned spot in a nondescript area of a strip mall, the dining area inside is a bit small but it has an outdoor dining area. The combos are of good value and the seafood is fresh and tasty. Service is fast and the guy who mans the joint is pretty cool.“

“Townsent is a hit or a miss. I guess it depends who is manning the kitchen and who is taking your order. Today for lunch the food sucked. I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“

“Everything was hitting! Black owned, so ofcourse. I got the sole, cat, shrimp, Mac, yams, greens, potato salad and the hush puppies. I come from San Bernardino just to eat this rich. Gone n' go! ♥️

“This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

“The agüachiles are tasty and the drinks (my micheladas and palomas) are refreshing. Delicious Mexican street-style snacks (pambazo that my wife ate) and the gummy snacks with chili and delicious strawberry and cream desserts. The atmosphere is cool, relaxed, and the breed is cool and friendly. Go and enjoy. You'll like it. ?? Oh, and all under the leafy shade of a refreshing tree.“

“Was hungry so went here for a quick bite. The line was ok waited about 5 minutes before I got seated. My server Joe helped me in recommending what was good to pick from the skewer bar. The beef quality was really good and the appetizers were nice too.“

The owner and employees are all friendly. Korea seems to be doing well too.
King crab, crayfish, conches, garlic bread, and scallops are all delicious.
I also highly recommend the clam chowder and Modelo Beer.
Oh, the chicken is delicious too. It tastes similar to Kyochon Chicken.“

“food is great, should update your specials menu on your website. Called for mar y tierra rolls and saw them advertised for 7.99 on Thursdays and i was told upon placing my order they are not and was charged regular price. Other than that A+“

“When I went there yesterday for a late lunch during work and was thus starving, I realized after I ordered that I had forgotten my cash, debit and credit card in a purse I had used over the weekend. The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. And the potato tacos were delicious! #Forevergrateful“
