The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. “This is a restaurant that is my go to near me in Claremont for my comfort food needs .Sorry no photos , but the owner Ratna is a Thai lady who owns and cooks , so you get authentic thai cuisine .Its a hidden gem in La Verne California and her Chicken and Beef Sate are the very best I have hsd , and if you see the piaces I eat st , you know I am telling you to go just to try Sate.Her egg fkower soup and sll other dishes are amazing.“

The owner and employees are all friendly. Korea seems to be doing well too.
King crab, crayfish, conches, garlic bread, and scallops are all delicious.
I also highly recommend the clam chowder and Modelo Beer.
Oh, the chicken is delicious too. It tastes similar to Kyochon Chicken.“

“This place has great food don't let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

“Tucked away in quiet street in busy Diamond Bar, behind the throngs of strip mall shops is a little Thai restaurant. The decor is calming and everything looked new.

Instead of a lunch special, I opted for a full meal and had plenty of leftovers. The Pad See You was excellent with chunks of chicken and flavorful. I also opted for the Beef Satay appetizer. However the portion was huge and dinner size at $15. I spent more than I wanted for lunch but had a second meal. Now that I’m closer to Mt Sac during lunch, I’m exploring all the options that busy Diamond Bar has to offer.

“The whole food experience was amazing, I have wanted to come and dine at a seafood restaurant that would serve seafood this way. We came in a group of five people and everyone loved it. We got their big portion that serves four people For a 160 They gave us a pound of shrimps for free, and the sides for the seafood were super complementing the whole experience. I now understand why the line was so long and crazy! Food is definitely worth the weight. At least they put you on a list and keep you updated via sms.“

“Townsent is a hit or a miss. I guess it depends who is manning the kitchen and who is taking your order. Today for lunch the food sucked. I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“

“I got Tteok-bokki to go at this establishment a few weeks ago. The inside is very nicely arranged and clean. The music playing was great.
The Tteok-bokki was very good. The rice cakes were chewy and spicy but not overbearingly spicy. They had just the right amount of flavor.
Overall I'd recommend this place.“

I was skeptical because I would drive an hour to Little Saigon in Orange County if I wanted good Vietnamese food, not to mention seafood. But I was delightfully surprised and have been back on my own often, especially for their mango salad and seafood glass noodle, my 2 faves. Thanks for saving me the hour drive.“
