“I was really looking forward to trying this steak sandwich shop after my friend’s enthusiastic recommendation, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I specifically ordered my steak medium rare, but it arrived well done—overcooked and lacking the juiciness I was hoping for. This really put a damper on my meal, as the quality of the steak is what makes or breaks a steak sandwich for me.

Maybe it was just an off day, but I hope the shop pays closer attention to how customers want their steak cooked in the future.

Overall, I appreciate the recommendation, but I can’t say I’d rush back unless I knew they’d get the steak right next time“

“The Pastrami sandwich was excellent and enough for 2 people to feel satisfied. The fries are voluminous. Now here’s the crazy additional observation: this restaurant is ridiculously clean for its age. The floor and seating area was noticeably clean, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean as well. The restaurant is obviously well managed. I got there early on a Saturday at 11 to beat the crowd, and by the time I left, the restaurant was full of people. I will unquestionably be back for more.“

My all-time favorite sandwich shop! We returned for the fabulous Breakfast sandwich on ciabatta bread and My Favorite Turkey Sandwich with spicy relish. So divine!! Also the cold Spanish Latte and new Dubai Matcha Latte added such a nice finish. What more can I say? Excellent, friendly staff in a bright cheery location that is freeway close. Check it out!!

What an absolute gem!! The Rosemary Ciabatta bread is utterly delicious; it enveloped my Favorite Turkey sandwich and was a side on the Farmer's Market Kale Salad that I recently ordered. Both were fresh and tasty! The pasta salad, orzo salad and potato salad were all refreshing and light too. Finally, the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie was a true delight.

Be sure to check out this unassuming but nicely renovated and super friendly sandwich shop next time you are in Laguna Hills! You won't be disappointed!“

“This was my first time eating at Mendocino Farms, I got the beet salad and goat cheese, and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. It was so good. I will definitely be coming back. The reason why I rated it a four is I went to sit outside and there was no staff around to clean the table, so I clean the table myself but other than that, everyone was very nice friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you check it out the food is very fresh. Ps: got another salad to go!!“

“Consistent food and service, fairly priced. Staff is clearly well trained and will often greet you and ask if you need anything or if you are waiting on an order. My only complaint is they almost never include utensils for online orders (even when you check 'Include utensils', so I hope you have a spoon if you order soup.

Also, not sure if they are under contract with Mendicino's or what, but they have useless "valet parking" some days, which just makes the already small parking lot a bit of a zoo. The valet stand is literally at the parking spots, so it's actually less efficient when there is a valet there. Seems like this same valet company just scams local businesses or lot owners into taking over their parking lots or something, as it seems semi common in costa mesa/newport, and it's always the same valet company. It takes six seconds to pull into a parking spot and several minutes to valet, but they reserve half the parking lot for valet, so it becomes full, and you are forced to valet since those are usually the only open spots. It works in some parking lots, but definitely not this one which is already a narrow entryway that isn't really even two lanes wide and an already small parking lot.

Parking: Some days there is a valet claiming half the parking lot, making finding a spot difficult. There are 3 'limited time' parking spots right in front of the store next to the handicap spots.“

“GEEZ THAT BREAKFAST BURRITO IS GOOD!!!. It's my first time trying anything from this place and I love breakfast burritos but so many places are just ok. I ordered delivery and wasn't sure what to expect. I paid about $25 which I think is a bit high for a breakfast burrito but this one is absolutely hands down worth it. I got bacon, avocado, and sausage. It comes with pico de gallo, cheese, tater tots and egg. Ok here's what makes this burrito so good. It starts with the tortilla, so many places jam pack a burrito with food but this places grills the tortilla so everything stays in one place when i get it.The tater tots and the bacon was crispy and crunchy while the egg wasn't scrambled as much as it was over easy/medium. This gives each Ingredient It's own texture and letting you actually taste every flavor. Everything tasted really good and this is my new favorite burrito spot. Don't hesitate and order a breakfast burrito.“

“I've been to my fair share of Jersey Mike's stores and I have to say that the employees who work here really take their work seriously and make great sandwiches. I don't want to jinx it, but I have not had one bad experience at this location. “I admit that I love all the Philly's Best locations I've been to, and no matter the location the food is always excellent and fresh. But as far as cleanliness for this specific Philly's Best, the staff has done an excellent job in making sure this location is of utmost cleanliness. The booths are nice, restrooms are convenient, and--like all locations--food is of peak freshness. The more I eat at this restaurant, the more respect I have for the cheesesteak, even above that of the hamburger.
