“We were visiting Laguna over the weekend and stopped by Rye Goods on Saturday, and then couldn't not come back again Sunday. All of their offerings are SO GOOD. I had the morning sugar latte, iced, with oatmilk, and it was one of the easiest lattes to drink. It wasn't overly sugary, as the name might indicate, and the oatmilk didn't have a strong presence like some brands tend to do. Super easy drinker. We also had a burrito, avocado toast, and a handful of pastries. The avo toast was hearty and the bread was super soft and meant for this type of meal. We came around 8-9am both days and didn't have a problem with lines, seating or service. Those working were super personable and helpful. I wish I lived here so I could go to this place more often.“

“This is a great place for wine lovers. Their wine list has a great selection of commonly loved varietals but also lesser known/found wine varietals. The best part is you can either order one of their pre-designed wine flights or you can design your own wine flight from their variety of offered wines. They have new world and old world wines from a variety of wine regions all over the world.

I also love their boozy ice cream. I ordered a scoop of Carmel Old Fashion ice cream and was so delicious. Dangerously delicious.

For those that like wine they do have some cocktails and craft beer options. I haven't tried them but my friends liked their frozen rose and sangria.“

Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. “Let me start by saying I love filemignon... so at date night, I start my search at filemignon near me, depending where I am at that time... this place is definitely a diamond in the rough 8 oz. Filet Mignon for $38!!! The mashed potatoes could have been more buttery or flavorful in some other way., but the truffle Mac and cheese was fantastic! I was also happy that they had Caymus by the glass, which I cannot get pretty many places. The icing on the cake was my wife had the Chilean sea bass and compared it to mexico's & demolished the whole plate (which is rare)!!! Also, the Tar Tar was epic with a little spice (ask for more won tons).
Service is great and surprisingly, there was many sitting available. We'll definitely be back.“

“This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. “My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! And say Hi to Monja from Mark and Dianne from Arizona!“

“This small wine and deli boutique is located in a small strip just behind a gas station. Limited parking but there is handicap parking.They have metal tables outside the door for relaxing and consuming your meal.The door is covered with signage and rules but don't let that deter you from entering the establishment.The inside drink and wine area is clean and well-stocked. The organization of the products was great.  As I walked to the back, to my right was a wine tasting bar and to my left was a pretty nice deli. The young lady at the cash register greeted me upon entering.  When I walked to the back of this quaint deli/wine store I came to a cooler well stocked with local and imported drinks of all kinds. It's not just a wine bar. It's not just a deli. It's an experience.They had many sandwiches to choose from but I chose the sausage breakfast burrito. It was recommended by the clerk that I get some green sauce with it and she was right. The burrito was pretty big and crafted with care. With each bite, I had a taste of the eggs, sausage, cheese, and hashbrowns. Many burritos I encounter are just thrown together and rolled up where you get a different burrito in each bite. You could see the care even in the wrapping and cutting in half for easier consumption.The size of the burrito:The burrito is about as round as a Starbucks Venti cold cup and the length of a Venti Starbucks plastic straw. The breakfast burrito was cut in half for easier consumption.It took about five minutes for the burrito to be ready for me to take it to go. Total was $10.76 with tax as of 1/7/24 and was worth it.It was a lot of fun browsing the cold fridge drinks and entertaining myself with their clever names while I waited for my meal.I definitely recommend this secret wonder if you're ever in the Aliso Viejo, Ca area.“

The staff is extremely nice and professional. The options are great for quick bites, lunch or dinner.

The food tastes fresh. The drinks are great.

Upon walking up to the bar area I was greeted immediately. Staff immediately gave me a menu. And mentioned a special that day. They also let me know that there was a happy hour. Happy hour!? Can't go wrong there can we lol.

I've had the club sandwich, wings and burger.

Club sandwich. Pretty much your average club sandwich. However the ingredients are fresh. Yes it's processed turkey slices. But that's ok. They're good quality ones at that. And they don't skimp. It was a very large well proportioned sandwich.

Wings. Alright these are the star of the show.
Simple but done right. You know when you just want something good? And everywhere just over does it trying to be different? Not these. Simple hot wings cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Burger.
Ok this is actually insanely good with the bacon.
And their fries are nice and crispy tasty freshness.

So would I recommend this place? Most definitely.
And if you're staying here. No need to go off site for food. The food here is legit.

“A group birthday celebration attended by 10 people. Service could have been better even though there were supposed to be two waiters. Three 16oz. steaks were served. Two were perfect. The steak that my wife ( “the birthday girl”) and I shared was much thinner than the other two and cooked more than medium. Otherwise the other meals were very satisfactory. It took much too long for the waiters to come to our table and start servicing. We had not seen these waiters in the past.“
