“After trying the dan dan noodles at a vegan pop-up market today, I can not stop thinking about them! The noodles, the OmniPork, the crisp veggies. Amazing. My boyfriend had the spring rolls and really liked them. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the whole menu looks fantastic! The staff was super friendly, and the portions were generous. Who can complain about vegan Chinese food? I can not, as it is challenging to find and is one of my favorite cuisines. I will continue to support this local restaurant and recommend giving it a try!“

“My kids, me, my husband, my brother in law, my best friend, her family, the list goes on, all LOVE this place. Some of them drive from Chula Vista to eat here. I haven't had a bad dish yet. Carnitas, Carne Asada, Pollo, are all done perfectly. My favorites are the number 1, and the Carnitas Plate. If you're not into meat though try the veggie burrito, the Chile relleno burrito, or the bean n cheese burrito. You can also order the 3 sopes plate with refried beans instead of meat. That plate with meat is a favorite too if you like Sopes. I almost forgot about their chimichangas... I know where I'm headed for lunch today.

Vegetarian options: If you're not into meat though try the veggie burrito, the Chile relleno burrito, or the bean n cheese burrito. You can also order the 3 sopes plate with refried beans instead of meat. Excellent food here.

We came by late on a weekday, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We sat outside, where it was easy to talk, and the sound of cars was not in any way disruptive. I liked the cultural style and interior design of the place as well. The food was very good, although I would say that the chicken was slightly over-cooked (not uncommon). Good overall experience!“

“3/5 for a first timer during restaurant week… the special menu was $50 per person…. we never got any bread with our dinner (and didn’t realize we were left out until we were on dessert)… and, portions were small, so the bread would have been nice, especially for $50… also, the server made us make our food order at the same time as our drinks… personally, i like to have a drink or two before i order my food… so, the service was rushed in that sense… and no one asked me if i wanted a second glass of wine i had the veal and my friend had the lobster ravioli… both tasted decently but, again, small portions… the burrata was amazing and the desserts (tiramisu and lava cake) were pleasant i think i’d like to try again on a night that isn’t as busy, and order off of the actual menu“

“Felt bad arriving pretty late; 1945 when they closed at 2030. However it was a long day of flights and our hotel was far away and reviews for this place suggested it was excellent. I'd wager a guess I've eaten at at least 100 pho establishments in my time on earth and for sure this one ranks in the top 5. The food was great. The beef ribs were AMAZING and those deep fried buns were to die for. The prices are very fair and portions filling for most any adult. Most importantly the broth was rich and had a good mouth feel. Beefy but very light almost as clear as a consomme.

Wish I lived in San diego so I could visit this more than once but gives me something to look forward to coming back for.“
