“I’m just going to say it: the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich at Rise Southern Biscuits in El Cajon is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had.
A sweet blueberry biscuit, savory sausage, American cheese and a fried egg. That combination sounds simple, but it is ridiculously good. The blueberry biscuit is sweet, buttery and soft, and that sweetness against the salty sausage, melted cheese and fried egg is absolutely perfect.
This is one of those rare things you order that halfway through eating it, you’re already thinking about when you can come back and get another one.
My advice? Skip everything else on the menu and get this. Don’t overthink it. Get the Sweet Country Blues Sandwich and you’ll thank me later.“

“Today the food was amazing. We had some Shawarma and we had some of their salad, which was original Palestinian. This place was so good me and my friend Adnan loved it. We got the lemon mint drink and it felt like we were back home in the Middle East. This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in San Diego.“

He apologized to us for the incident, although clearly he was not responsible for that person's rude behavior. We had delicious sandwiches and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. We WILL be back!“

“T&A Adventures is @ The Hills Local Pub in La Mesa California having THE BEST BURGER of our adventures so far! I mean WOW! Juicy deliciousness! Garlic Parm Burger - Half Pound patty, candied jalapeño bacon, swiss, garlic aioli, arugula, tomato, brioche bun, parmesean crisp - Served w Fries. Absolute 🔥! Our Server "Jordan" was awesome too.“

“Got the combo taco/enchilada plate. It was alot of food. The beans had great flavor, topped with melted cheese. Good hot sauce as well. They apparently dont have fountain drinks, as I was given a can of diet soda. I'd recommend eating here. This is my 3rd time here as I dont live within this vicinity.“

“We were a party of five at your Le Mesa location on 3/22/26 and I believe our server's name was Diana. Our experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was superb, the facility was spotless and every member of the staff that interacted with was professional, helpful and friendly. Diana was fantastic! “The low carb salmon plate was incredible. it includes soup or salad, asparagus and portobello mushrooms. I chose the salad and it was huge and delicious and all that for only $16.99! Top gourmet quality food. I will be going back. So many choices and all of it looked incredible!“

“Hands down, the best burgers. My go to is the Double- Double animal style (mustard grilled into the meat, grilled onion, extra sauce, extra pickles). You can get it on any of their burgers. To the Snyders (the owners of In-N-Out), PLEASE put stores in Florida!! We deserve this goodness too. 🥰“

“After trying the dan dan noodles at a vegan pop-up market today, I can not stop thinking about them! The noodles, the OmniPork, the crisp veggies. Amazing. My boyfriend had the spring rolls and really liked them. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the whole menu looks fantastic! The staff was super friendly, and the portions were generous. Who can complain about vegan Chinese food? I can not, as it is challenging to find and is one of my favorite cuisines. I will continue to support this local restaurant and recommend giving it a try!“

“We are die hard Din Tai Fung people but only for special occasions due to wait times and cost. Ju Feng Yuan was pretty dang close to a din tai Fung dumping but reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Very clean! We had the soup dumplings, custard buns, fried rice all was very good.“
