“I have been going to Mamma's sushi for years. Before the Shabu Shabu next door. I have always enjoyed the food, service and the atmosphere. It seems like they get better in each category over the years. Recently, I have noticed that while other places have made Sushi almost unaffordable, Mamma's sushi saves the day with all their deals. Lunch specials, dinner specials it seems like they have something for every time slot of the day.

“I have been coming to this place for a while. Fair price, but the food needs an upgrade, specially the california rolls. Small portions and very little wasabi and ginger.
They should have a policy for customers to bring earphones for those who want to be on their phone playing loud videos and for parents who have no control of their children and they have to use an iPad or a phone playing very loud videos to entertain the child. It is very annoying. It looks that there are lots of people with no common nor respect for each other.“

“This is a little place but the food is full of flavor and made to order. Im not a sushi person but i did try 2 rolls of sushi and they were super delicious. “Yet another winner from KEI Concepts. The hand rolls are served warm, one at a time, so you get the full flavor of the roll. They advise you eat them as soon as they are served + follow that advice. Consider the yuzu kosho sauce to complement the rolls. The lunch special of four rolls, miso soup and edamame is a great bargain, and they will substitute if you have allergies. The cucumber salad and crispy rice tartar are a nice way to start.“

“I recently visited this sushi spot and ordered the yellowtail sashimi, albacore sashimi (the one topped with fried onions), edamame, spicy tuna, sticky rice, a cucumber roll, and the Bulgogi fries. Everything was delicious and came out quickly.

The staff was attentive in the best way—checking in at the right moments and making sure I had everything I needed without ever feeling intrusive. Great service and great food.

“I've never had a bad experience at Azabu. It's our fave date night dinner so we had to try it out on Valentine's Day. They had 2 pre fix menus available and it was the best experience. Our server, Rashawn (not sure on the spelling) was great. He was very attentive and took care of me since I have a raw shellfish allergy. Drinks and vibes were amazing as always.“

Packaged very neatly and my 9pc salmon sushi lunch box comes with tempura,side dish, miso soup and even few sashimi! Love it. Current owners been here for 2yrs or so and they were very kind. And I am there for pick up for passing by I see regulars there so some already know what is good. They have lots of options so I am going try all of them. “Sora Sushi at Parkwest Bicycle Casino is a hidden gem.
Given its location in Bell Gardens—tucked inside a card room—I didn’t expect much. But I was genuinely impressed. The quality of the sushi is top-tier for the area, and it has consistently delivered fresh, well-prepared fish every time I’ve visited.

What really stands out is the value. Compared to high-end spots like Blue Ribbon at The Grove, Sora Sushi offers nearly the same quality at about half the price. It’s a no-frills spot that over-delivers, making it a great find for sushi lovers who care about freshness without breaking the bank. The most crazy part about this place is how there’s literally usually no one there!

Service was good but not great, it took a little while to get some food out and they gave us some food that we didn’t order, which I actually didn’t mind because it was still super great.

The staff is attentive and kind and I can sense a real care to their House Special Recipes. Today we had the Chirashi and Tekka Don and they were both perfect. That was really really good. I love the little fried chicken and they also had edamame‘s. The sushi is really delicious because I like that it’s not overly full of rice. It’s a nice thin layer. It’s more sashimi piece. This is definitely a must check out. It is a small spot so the seats can be filled out pretty quickly, but they do work very fast. And very friendly.“
