“1st time trying Pho Waffle and Grill. It's a small place but as usual small places have the greatest of foods. I ordered the Salmon Bowl and also the Beef Pho to go. You can also pre-order or just drive on thru their drive thru. Will definitely come back again! Broth was perfect and so was the salmon. Oh and got cheese ragon as well.

If it's raining and you want some warm pho. This is the spot for you. Close to South Gate, Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Downey and Paramount. It has drive thru and a small mom and pop restaurant that should definitely be supported for the great food. Had Beef Pho and Shrimp Pho, with Creamy ragoons and Veggie Egg rolls topped off with Tai Tea. Yum!!! #TheSpot“

Have to say it's my first time in this area (Wrigley Village) but it's nice to know there are still cozy corner stores serving up small specialized menu items. “I arrived early in the day and was told that only the #1 and #9 were available. I’m not sure if the other items sell out before opening or if they simply rotate what’s being made, but it was a bit disappointing since I drove over an hour hoping to try more of the menu. That said, the #1 and #9 were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and well worth the trip. I just wish I had the chance to sample the rest of what they offer. UPDATE - 04/19/26 I went very early this morning and they said they only had #1 #8 & #9 available but have the whole menu outside. I asked politely do you ever not run out because im here early and you don't have your other egg rolls available again. She said we can Make them but its a 20min wait and a 20 count minimum order of them.“

They also have a decent list of items on their vegetarian section of the menu - mostly Tofu for the protein option in vegetarian but the taste is still retained be it the rice, noodles or the bunmi.

“The Tofu Spring Rolls are good, but lacking flavor. Me personally, I like peanut butter, but the Hoisin Sauce with Peanut Butter had a weird aftertaste. The pork chop was nice and charred, but also lacked some flavor. The vermicelli (noodles) is a nice filler. Great service, and overall nice interior, the only real problem is being crammed with space.“

Plenty of TVs hung around with different channel of cooking or food traveling shown. You ordered on the tablet that they provided along with a menu in case you can do on the tablet. Easy order and quick turn around…the foods look delicious and tasty plus it comes with free veggie soup - a really small soup that you wonder why bother. All are good and tasty plus good portion. I was impressed or really hungry that I cleaned up the plate, except the soup (it was so so). Coffee was good, too much iced. Overall not bad at all.“

“🔥 Uber Eats order! The pho here is soo good! The broth is just so delicious and the ribeye meat is so fresh! I loved it so much! 🤤 the to-go packaging made it very convenient to eat, the ribeye was already cooked in the soup and wasn’t raw. I also did try the crème brûlée here and I wouldn’t be able to recommend that but the ribeye pho is just delish and deserves the 5 stars in its own 😋“

“A small catering, food to go shop, 3 small tables inside, 3 outside. Their banh canh cua, udon crab noodle, is fantastic in quality and quantity, probably the best in oc, $17 eat in, special $8 only to go on Friday, a great deal.

The crab udon has a lump of minced crab, 3 large shrimps, large slices of boiled pork. The broth is rich, tasty, delish, no fishy odor, no excess sugar, light, nice, clean, not greasy and gooey like those in other shops. I ate it to the last spoon, and I am a picky eater.

If taken home, the udon noodle should be recooked in the broth for about 5 minutes to soften up.

They have a menu of about 30 traditional Viet dishes, hopefully as good and healthy as their crab udon. Will definitely come back and try them out.“

The spring rolls were a bit of a disappointment as it was 90% garden salad mix straight out of the bag. 2 out of 3 of the spring rolls split open due to the over crowding of the salad. If the salad was tossed in a light sauce/vinegar, it would liven up the spring rolls so much.“

The large was only a few dollars more and was a challenge to finish all the meat. It actually was so good, I had left without my wallet but the waitress ran to catch me. It was much appreciated as her service during the meal was just as full of effort.Second visit, today is what made me write this review. I have been trying this combo (bun nuong cha gio?) All over OC and this was one of the most fresh and flavorful ones I had. I will most certainly come back as others cannot provide the flavor and quantity Pho Lam Son provides at their prices.“
