“Me and multiple coaches from my team visited Backstage Marin for dinner and a coaches meeting. The hosts of the restaurant were extremely welcoming and accommodating (shout out Ed). They have a nice venue inside but we ate outside. The seating outside had heaters (shown in the image) and blankets. We tried both of their pizza options and they were awesome. They best dish we had was artichoke dip. All of there dishes are crafted/created in house. Literally the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. The town it’s located in (Larkspur) is a cozy town full of character. Thankful for my head coach brother in law’s significant other who recommended this going to this spot. Look forward to going back.“

“We were there in the early evening. Meet the owner and his wife. They were so welcoming and friendly it felt like home. Our whole party enjoyed beer, cocktails, and fantastic rock posters. Sully told us about the SF Elk's Lodge, and since we had a member in the group, we visited there the next day. Guess what? Sully was there that day, too. “I always go to the pub crawl on Halloween. It's fun there are lots of arcade style games, and it's not that crowed, worth the visit. They could offer jelly shots of different flavors, though. I really don't like the lime ones. They were serving Mexican store-bought style food there, I don't know if they serve this on a daily basis. I didn't taste it but my friends liked it. They were drunk and hungry, so I think everything is delicious in that state.“

“Last night my friends had a table at a nearby (not to be named) bar that would not let me bring my backpack in.

So I go to bamboo hut and ask if they’ll hold it.

They at first say no (I don’t blame them, I wasn’t buying anything and it was a busy Friday night)

Out of desperation I offered to pay them $100 to hold it

The woman goes to talk to the manager / owner, who comes up and says they’ll hold it.

Then they refused my money. Both of them.

It was a kind, simple interaction that really made the night of a stranger (me).

“We hosted our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The willow trees and venue are beautiful, and it's a fun spot to host an event! Our guests had the best time, and the staff and owners were so kind and accommodating. “Went there with relatives from Ireland. The told me it felt like a pub back home. That is a great compliment. The bartender was also from Ireland and the back and forth banter between the bartender and my guest (Mainly dealt with the different countries they were from) was hilarious. Had great time.“

“A local hangout full of characters who are not only friendly and entertaining, but welcoming. The kind of place that evokes the vibe of the TV show Cheers with a much more diverse clientele. Bartender was attentive and poured a great G&T. Classic. Dive. Bar.“

“Really welcoming atmosphere for our group as we were walking around Sausalito and looking for something approachable after a long walk across the bridge. Pool tables, juke box, long bar, cheap drinks. They had some special flavored tequilas they were making some nice on-the-fly cocktails with for some in our group, and we were really happy with them.“

Their collection is extensive, but I'm not exactly sure what's up there beyond the first row. They probably got at least 300 bottles, but I don't know how they sell through any of the back row because you can't see them. They need to have an inventory list with pricing.“

“Pretty interesting place with poker, darts and pool. You'll find an unusual but friendly crowd here. The food is pretty good with mostly burgers and such with rotating specials. Thursday is Prime Rib! Bar is pretty good with standard cocktail fare and beers on tap. My only complaint is the atmosphere which feels mildly uncomfortable. I can't say why exactly, but the feng shue is off.“

“My significant other and I were travelling down Hyde St on the cable car and passed this wine bar. As wine lovers, we knew we had to go back! What a treat! There is a great selection of delicious dry European wines. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting. “Had a luncheon @ Perbacco with my 9 coworkers and Manager to say “goodbye & farewell” to a retiring coworker and “welcome” to a new coworker. Started with a round of hors d'oeuvre’s. The thin sliced veal with a sauce and capers was delicious! The fried shrimp, veggies and olives/anchovies…also with a sauce was awesome as well. For my main, I had CRESTE DI GALLO - semolina pasta - wild mushroom ragu - spinach - ricotta salata. Our waiter was the best! I saved one of the sugar cookies from my deserts…Burnt Carmel Gelato. Mentioned it to our waiter and as we were leaving, I heard “Sir! Sir!” He brought me one of their meringue cookies to also share with my partner! I thought that was just awesome! Top notch food and customer service. We’ll be back!“

“Friendly neighborhood bar with a great selection of drinks. They still had Anchor Steam, which seemed to be sold out throughout the city. The bartender, who seems to be the owner, is very friendly. When I went, they had a beer and shot special, which I had way too many. Luckily I was staying at the hotel next door and could just stumble into bed. I would go again in the future.“
