“A reasonable dive bar amidst the calamity of North Bay price gouging. Good atmosphere and fun daytime pit stop if killing time.
Cannot speak to night time vibes, but will revisit for prices and atmosphere and the juxtaposition to the ridiculousness around it.“

“I work nearby, and finally had the opportunity to stop by and have an early evening cocktail. That was the best French 76 I have ever had! The bartenders were friendly and engaging, the music was interesting and fun, and sparked conversation between a few of us strangers at the bar. I love the atmosphere and decor; I think I'll be making more regular stops for sure!“

“Hands down the best cocktails in SF and def one of the best in America.
Love the beautifully curated menu and what it had to offer. Heavily influenced by Japanese ingredients hence offering a very unique menu of its own.
Cocktails were extremely well balanced with flavours, aroma and umami. A sip of The friend of a friend of a friend was no different to eating a bag of toasted chips with its long lingering smoked aroma. Insanely good.
Will definitely go back for the Japanese bites or even the Kaisei don.“

“Terrene in San Francisco feels like one of the city's hidden gems, definitely underrated. We originally came for breakfast (which ends at 11am) and had just missed it, so we stayed for lunch and were not disappointed
The space is located within a hotel and has more of a causal service process where you order first, seat yourself and the food is brought out to your table via a number tag.
We ordered the Harissa chicken bowl, a matcha latte with coconut milk, and an açaí smoothie. The chicken bowl was fantastic, super fresh, vibrant ingredients, perfectly grilled chicken, sweet onions and veggies, fluffy grains, and a flavorful sauce that brought everything together beautifully
The matcha latte tasted like it was made with ceremonial grade matcha: smooth, rich, and not too sweet. The coconut milk complemented it perfectly without overpowering. The açaí smoothie was also a hit: fresh and refreshing
The vibe of the place is stunning, it reminds me of the Public Hotel in NYC meets The LINE in LA. Minimal, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It's right by the Embarcadero, which makes it a great spot to start a walk along the waterfront (just be prepared for SF parking chaos)
The prices are a bit on the higher end, but the quality and experience make it well worth it. 100/10 would come back, and finally try the breakfast!“

“Wow, what a great restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted kindly by the hostess. She was so sweet and even checked in on us during dinner. Our server Joselyn was very helpful and attentive. She helped steer us in the right direction of what to order since everything on the menu looked delicious. The food was outstanding. The portions aren't super big but perfect which allowed us to order a few entrees. We started with the pan seared brussel sprouts, stuffed calamari, & roasted baby carrots. We then ordered the ricotta strangulet, pumpkin caramelle, braised short rib cappellacci, and the drunken mafaldine. Wow, everything was truly amazing and cooked to perfection. We didn't have room for dessert but our bill came with a tiny assortment of cookies which was the perfect way to end our meal. Thank you Sorrella, we will definitely be back to enjoy your amazing cuisine.“

“Awesome karaoke bar in Chinatown, SF! Definitely a Chinatown feel with the dim red lights & decor. There's a huge karaoke book to choose a song to sing. If the bar is full, they'd likely limit you to 1 song at a time so others get a chance. Space is small so it can get crowded. Loved the energy & atmosphere.“
“A cute and cozy bar with a friendly bartender. I got the Escape, which is made with a rum blend, pineapple, whipped coconut clarified pina colada. The clarification improved the texture, enhanced the flavors, gave it a crystal clear look, and had a smoother and softer taste!“

“My wife and I were first-time visitors. As we approached the restaurant, we were somewhat apprehensive given its location in a strip shopping center. Once we entered, we were pleasantly surprised by the quaint and cozy setting. Great ambiance, service, and the food was even better. The best thing was the butter cake for dessert, which evoked strong emotions in my wife and me. It was that good.“

“A special treat for yourself or for folks visiting out of town! Oswaldo was a kind, knowledgable, and exceptional guide, listening to what we were looking for, recommending pairings, and pointing out exceptional menu items like the fries flight (delicious), the oysters (outstanding!), and the tomato martini (life changing). The martini and champagne carts are SO fun, highly recommend!“

“While visiting Marin County on a Thursday, local bartenders recommended Mac’s in Fairfax. They’re open pretty late and have both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a stage where it looks like they have live music. We came later on closer to midnight and it looked like many locals go there to hang out for a drink. They have a full bar and many cocktail menus. There’s street parking and people can bring their dogs inside!“

“Amazing local bar/club venue for some really good DJs (all genres of house) to fun karaoke nights (Weds and Sun). Bartenders here are friendly and super nice and the decor/vibe of the place is really special. They curate a really diverse range of nights and rarely a cover, highly recommended. Sound system is top notch.“

“We both ordered very spirit forward cocktails but they were excellent.
Fun cool vibes inside.
The oysters were delicious. We also did the salt and pepper squid. It was a bit on salty side which got me drinking the cocktail a bit faster than I should have“

“Above Fifth is the rooftop bar of the AC Hotel in San Rafael, CA. The hotel is part of the Marriott hotel franchise. Yes, a franchise hotel is in downtown San Rafael. Times are a changin'.
Anyways, the bar is open 4pm-11pm Wednesday-Sunday, closed on Monday - Tuesday. The hotel is about 54 feet tall so it is not particular tall, but tall enough for some awesome views of downtown, surrounding hills, and Mount Tam. The seating area, like the hotel, has modern upscale aesthetics with relaxed vibes.
The views are gorgeous. The staff are sweethearts, five star service. The drinks and tapas menu price points are of course pricey. But what was up with the stained paper menus. Eww. Anyways, the fam ordered drinks (cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks) and tapas of olives, hummus and pita, and fingerling potatoes. The olives were delicious and it was a good medley of various kinds. The fingerling potatoes were a bit boring tasting, it could use more seasonings for added zing. Not sure how the green hummus tasted, I snoozed on that one.
Overall, the drinks are good, ambiance fantastic, and the food is meh. This is a type of place I would go for special occasions and not on a regular basis, my wallet cannot sustain it.“
“excelente bebidas 👍 se los recomiendo yo lo voy a visitar cada fin de semana 😉“
“It’s been years since I went to this bar. We had just visited the Institute of Contemporary Art of San Francisco across the street. It was that sweet spot where some bars or restaurants don’t open until 4pm. We decided to stop by since it was open and it looked cozy plus they had the game on. The staff was accommodating in pushing seats and tables to accommodate the group. Prices were a bit steep so we only stayed for one drink. Seems like it’s a bar mainly for hotel guests from what we could see.“

“Have been here a few times now, and Tiya has been consistent with the quality of food and service. I ended up taking their tasting menu everytime so can only comment to those .. and they never disappointment. Being a person of Indian origin, I must say that they have done justice to the flavours of India... a modern take on traditional flavours while maintaining the true essence.“

“I love Mediterranean food and this place is fantastic! Every dish we tried was amazing and their whiskey sour is consistently excellent and never disappoints. I’ve returned several times, and the food quality is always so good. But it’s not ideal for date nights, as most evenings feel like team events with large groups, making it quite loud and crowded“

“Likely the best value in the FiDi for a quick breakfast. I got the Huevos Rancheros ($8.95) add Bacon (+$3). I ordered it through Toast and picked it up. My coffee was made fresh when I got there so it would still be HOT!
The Huevos were delicious! Two eggs, both red and green salsa (one on each), black beans, and a bit of cheese. It was the perfect amount and was delicious. A hint of spice from the salsas, the eggs were well seasoned and the tortillas still crispy.
I'll be swinging by here more often than my usual bagel place in the future!“
