I would particularly recommend the charred octopus, croquetas, albondigas, and gambas. The paella was exceptional, it was one of the best I have ever had in the States. I enjoyed my Rioja a lot. “This restaurant feels like it exists somewhere in between what could be a local haunt and a tourist trap. It has a versatile yet contained menu that has a little bit of something for everyone. The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. They even had an extra kale salad made by accident and brought it over complimentary as we waited for the last of our party to arrive. A+“

“The weather at 10 o'clock in the morning in San Francisco in April was quite pleasant, with the temperature below 20 degrees Celsius. It felt great to sit outside the restaurant to dine (but it's best not to sit for too long, because there is no awning outside the restaurant, so for a while After a while, the sun will still hurt you).I ordered Russian Hill and chose bacon and cheddar cheese. The chef cooked it into a pie. There were also potato (maybe grilled or fried) and fruit combinations. It was quite delicious and rich. The prices on the meals have been increased, and it is recommended that the store should update them. The overall service quality is good, and the two male waiters are very diligent in greeting customers' needs.“

We have had good tartare before, never with hazelnuts. This was a nice twist with a delicate crunch. Main course, the table had the pork chop, halibut and hen. All were done very well. The beer list was great! They had beers from France, Quebec and a local variety. Finished the night with some very airy and fluffy beignets. They were amazing. “Solid spot in Pacific Heights. It was easy to do a walk in and find parking nearby. It does feel a bit cramped with the seating style but they make the most of the seating by the window and communal seating vibe. Drinks were good. Highly recommend the prickly pear. We also ordered an old fashion and came with a glass half full and noting that they seem to charge a $1 if you ask for a large ice cube. Food was good, the naan and mushroom hummus has a strong mushroom flavor so best if you’re sharing as it can be overwhelming after multiple bites. The steamed buns were super delicious too and a treat since we don’t order those often. They also add an automatic 20% to your bill so just be cautious. Wish they would just add it to their pricing and remove that addition but everywhere seems to be leaning on this.“

One of us had the salmon which was gorgeous but the chicken pot pie was a revelation with loads of meat and veg with a creamy sort of stroganoff sauce and thin buttery top crust. Given that we had paid paid more for a burger in LA airport on the way to SF having a lovely meal for less was excellent. If you are near the Marina or Fillmore Street area please check it out. “Enjoyed a nice afternoon lunch with my 4yo son after a trip to Alcatraz. Was beautiful to sit outside in the patio, drank some delicious beer, and really enjoyed my burger. Something about it really hit the spot: perfectly cooked, nice portions, and it didn’t fall apart. One of the better burgers I’ve had in a long time. Kiddo also loved his focaccia as well. Would come back again!Oh one thing: Not super kid friendly. They don’t have high chairs or booster seats.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. They don’t have high chairs or booster seats.“

“Valentine's Day dinner with bae. So we made reservations at Bagatella we still had a wait even though we got there prior to our reservations. It was packed and. Due to it being another cold wet night in SF outside seating wasn't an option for most. So we ended up finally being seated in the back booth lucky us cause in the front it's a bit tight on the seatings especially on the left side. I'm not going complain. Like I said we got a booth our server was Great pleasant and inviting. For V day they had prefix menu We got the heirloom tomatoes and crab cakes. The crab cakes were perfectly crispy on the outsides and delicious and moist on the inside. The heirloom tomatoes and the fresh mozzarella drizzled with the balsamic we also both enjoyed the lightness and freshness of the dish. For our main course we both picked the lamb shank on a bed of risotto. The lamb was fork tender already deboned in a delicious sauce reduction. The risotto was definitely the star of this dish though creamy seasoned buttery and al dente. For dessert we chose the bread pudding and key lime pie. The custard filling on the key like was velvety smooth sweet and tart all at the same time. The bread pudding wasn't your typical bread pudding. It tasted more like cake then just bread and topping it off with that vanilla ice cream was a great job. Overall we both enjoyed our experience here. The lemon drop martini yes yes“

“Awesome place to see a show. It’s a small room so even if you’re in the back it’s all good. Enthusiastic staff and you can tell they enjoy working here. Jackie Greene rules!!! Don’t miss him when he does his 3-night run every winter.“

“Looks like this used to be some fancy dinner restaurant at the Ritz, but now is only the breakfast restaurant Good a la carte items every morning while staying at the Ritz. But it’s a 20 minute wait for food (if crowded, wait goes up to 30 or 40 min) and expensive. Good service“

“Our first time here, we loved it. The food was extremely tasty, we had the butternut squash soup and the chicken lunch special with plantains. The service was excellent and fast, the music was a tiny bit too loud, but the food was perfect…“

“Highly recommended. I search for a dinner and walk myself to this. The salmon is very crispy and tasty, the service is better than expected, I don't remember the name of the girl who served me, but she is very friendly and lovely. The asmosphere is a good combination of good dining restaurant and bar. Love to come here when I visit San Francisco next time.“

“This is one of the few dining venues near the Palace of Fine Arts and it’s a very good one. The farm to table vegetables accompanying my salmon were outstanding. The salmon was also great. The location right on the edge of the Presidio has lovely grounds and the building interior has a modern minimalist aesthetic. On the Saturday evening we went it wasn’t too crowded and service was prompt. So if you’re going to a performance at PoFA and only want to park once this is a great dining option before your show.“
