“If you’re reading this, here’s the short version: this is easily one of the best restaurants in Culver City, and you need to try it now!

It’s a small spot in downtown Culver City that you could walk past without noticing. I’m glad I didn’t. There are a couple of tables outside, but most of the seating is indoors. The space is modern, clean, and relaxing.

We ordered three dishes, all recommended by our waiter. The mussel toast is a must. Every bite is savory and packed with seafood flavor. For mains, we had the short rib and rainbow trout. The short rib was perfection. Cooked over fire and served with crispy potato strings. It’s something you get at high-end steakhouse but at half the price. The rainbow trout looked beautiful and tasted fresh, though the citrus was a bit stronger than I prefer.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the churro and ice cream sandwich. The ice cream (another must try), sourced from a Persian maker, was rich with rose, honey, and pistachio. The presentation was just as impressive. The churros were decent, though I wished they were crispier and the dipping sauce was thicker.

Overall, I’d give this place a solid five stars. The food is close to Michelin quality without the Michelin prices. Go and you won’t be disappointed.“

“My experience at Saby’s is always phenomenal. I live close by and this has turned into my go to weekend brunch spot. The food is incredible (I get the chipotle chicken breakfast burrito) almost every time and it never fails to disappoint. Sometimes the food can take a bit but that’s because there is always a line out the door and around the corner! The services is great, the workers are so welcoming and kind (especially Javier, he is the absolute man!!), and every time I come I leave with new appreciation for the establishment. Their coffee is also delicious, I get the Spanish latte with oak milk and it never fails to disappoint. 10/10 would recommend Saby’s to any and everyone!! “I stopped by Yagul Cafe and had my first ever Oaxacan latte, it was a very big cup, full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. Such a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was incredibly comforting and delicious.

I loved the fact that you could try a little sample of the gelato before choosing your flavour. I found this spot when I was looking for a place to take my sister to eat. When we saw the menu we were excited and it didn’t disappoint.

We decided to do breakfast today and go back for lunch next time.

The place was clean and the customer service was excellent.

Our food was freshly prepared and so delicious.
My waffle was crispy outside and fluffy inside with a buttery flavor. My potatoes were seasoned well with actual seasoning not just salt and oil. The eggs were cooked well too.

I seriously had a great breakfast.

Her avocado toast looked great and she said all the ingredients tasted fresh and ripe without being mushy and the bread had a great texture and wasn’t affected by the moisture of the vegetables.

We 100% are coming back. You should also try it out, totally recommended.“

We had their wagyu 917 burger with their duck fat fries upgrade, salmon with risotto, and roasted carrots. Although their roasted carrots were a bit too oily, it was still really good. A medium done on the wagyu burger - so juicy and tasty! Not dry at all. Their salmon was okay (could've used a little more seasoning or some lemo zest) but the risotto under was great, needed more of it! Their Porsche-shaped butter along with the warm pretzel sticks was okay, it was a cute presentation though (just not a pretzel bread girly). “Brought my daughter after jujitsu class... we were ordering and i saw the new reopens drinks and suggested she try one of them... she said she wanted to stick with her original order of a mango smoothie with no boba and mango jelly and popping boba... before we even paid the drink was prepared... one thing I noticed was all the employees were smiling... my daughter left her phone on the counter and we walked over to the bakery next door... as we were walking out Roxy came and brought us the phone.... thank you for a great experience and saving us a headache.“

“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.

Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.“

“We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

“I was in town alone and thought the beach butler service sounded fun. I didn’t book ahead since I wasn’t sure when I’d arrive. When I asked about it at the bike rental area, the girl there was super rude and said it needed 24 hours’ notice — even though the website doesn’t mention that.

I called the number listed and spoke with a nice woman who came out to help and made it happen within 30–45 minutes. My butler was great, and I appreciated that the manager accommodated me.

Probably not worth the $85 since alcohol isn’t allowed on the beach (my bad for not knowing), but the real issue is that an employee was turning business away.
