“This panda is very diligent and their workers are very earnest in their work. They were taking temps when I walked in and kept the space very clean. The cooks were on a break eating dinner, so when I ordered something that was out, the MANAGER went to the back and started working the wok. “This was our first visit here and we really enjoyed the food. To start we had the crispy crab/cream cheese wontons. They were creamy and full of chunks of crab meat. For dinner we shared the Sweet & Sour pork, Mongolian Beef and the Veggie Low Mein. It was all super tasty! The low mein had tons of freshly sautéed carrots, brocolli, zuchini, cabbage and snow peas in a great sauce. The Mongolian beef was super thin and tender sautéed with green onion in a rich sauce. The sweet and sour pork was very traditional but you could see and taste the quality... no skimpy cuts of pork or over breading! I was wonderful! The manager (or owner, not sure) was offering a free garlic noodle dish to any table with a check over $50... we had never tried garlic noodles before but they were so simple but so rich with a buttery garlic sauce that they paired perfectly with the rich sauces of the other dishes. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. We will be back to try more! *Bonus they had a large TV (no sound but with subtitles) playing the World Series!

Vegetarian options: The table next to us was a large all vegetarian group. They had tons of options on thier table which they all seemed to enjoy.

“I have not been here since the 90s, ordered the Wonton Soup-Small, and it was very good. Wontons were yummy and the pieces of Chicken and Shrimp all tasted fresh. Soup was pretty hot, took about 5 mins to cool down my soup. Sadly, no more donuts. Wish owners would make the place look nice because yes it looks
very rundown but food was good. Additional seating would be helpful. I dont remember the cost but for small soup was like $5 to $7 dollars. Glad this place is still here, memories from childhood.“

“What an awesome little restaurant that popped up here. Was looking to try something new and found this amazing little bao spot. The most amazing thing is how they fry these bao. The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

“This place is just incredible. Exactly what I’ve been searching for in LA for years now. Just some good, MSG-filled Chinese food. It tastes exactly how you want it to taste. It’s not 5-star cuisine, but it tastes like your childhood when you were able to convince your mom to get Chinese takeout on a random Thursday because she had a long day and didn’t want to cook. Bbq pork was tender and delicious, grab some hot mustard. The orange chicken is something we don't usually order but was great here, still crunchy. Egg foo young was made fresh to order and surprisingly wonderful, airy and the best use of water chestnuts I've seen. The lady even chopped it up for us with a huge cleaver so it was easier to eat. The fried rice has chunks of bbq pork and egg and the chow mein had chicken and egg. They have both Sriracha and chili oil. It was enough food for two plus leftovers

“Went in for pick up on a Friday night. Was busy, was able to order at the counter and wait 15 mins for order to be ready. I ordered the garlic broccoli, shrimp steamed wontons and cold noodles. The portion sizes were great and all 3 were under $40.
The broccoli had so much garlic it was almost overwhelming. If you are so so on healing stay away from this as it will kick that flu season in the guts! The cold noodles were okay, just wanted more sauce options and other veges in them. Wontons were tasty and good portion size. It was a good go to. With so much choice in Gardena this is up there.“

Instead of telling me to come back and correct my order they were so rude. I'll miss the meat egg rolls but food wise nope! They're about the same. Nothing changes except the quality in the food. The wings were the highlight, i haven't had anything this good outside of Thailand. I love the sugarcane 'bones 'in the wings, and their sauces are top notch. Aguafresca is also on point, don't skip it! They have matcha horchata, too. They have almond cookies that are not vegan but still very good. The vegan carrot cake was INCREDIBLE, I have not encountered carrot cake this flavorful anywhere. “Me and the the fam do laundry across the street so naturally the wife want her Starbucks. Always passed by this place and it just caught my eye. Don’t know why. I took a menu from the spot and kept it in the glove compartment for some time. One day I was coming down from some acid and was hungry like a mofo. Oh before I say anything more I must mention that when I saw the menu I saw they had shrimp fried rice and that is all it took to seal the deal. However, I am VERY SKETCH on my shrimp fried rice. I only get it from one spot and it’s been like that for around 13 years. Anywho. Coming down from that and I said “screw it! Let’s try it” got the shrimp fried rice and the lunch special of orange chicken. The sfr was dank! Wont compare it to the other but honestly I was impressed. My wife said the orange chicken was ok and that the chicken was hard. I tried it I loved the sauce and the fried rice…well I had just tried it so no difference. I told her that I kinda saw that coming from the chicken bc of the big menu that they have so that is the only negative but I will definitely mess with this place again! Oh the service was quick and straight to the point. The way it should be.“

I have been to many Northern Cafes and have been looking forward to this one. I noticed most of the reviews were about dumplings and realized this one is more specialized for dumplings (boiled, pan-fried and steamed XLB varieties.

I was hoping for the noodle specialties like the one in Gardena (which is my favorite in the region, 10 min more drive for me).

We ordered:
- crab dumplings- steamed, XLB style, it was pretty good
- lamb dumplings- pan fried, it was ok, a little oily
- beef noodle soup- it was ok, they only served with thin noodles, we preferred other handmade varieties at the Gardena store

We also ordered the beef rolls to go, it looked exact like the ones shown on the poster, ha ha.

Overall, pretty good if you are hungry dumplings!“

“This place has been around for so many years, which is usually a sign of a great restaurant, especially in this economy! Anyway, we've been coming here for years, longer than we've even lived in Torrance, everyone loves the food whenever we get it. They have the best Szechuan eggplant I've probably ever had, as well as great soups, eggrolls, and the different chicken dishes we've tried are always just as good! Szechuan chicken, Kung pao chicken, and they have a very unique teriyaki chicken, which is actually really good also!“
