“This place is a great place to hang out and watch a jazz trio on thursdays. The bar looks out on the bay and long beach. you can step outside to the observation deck of the ship. It is very art deco, lots of wood, a big ballroom dance scene is painted above the bar. Service is slow when it gets busy though, the bar is small and the servers have to use the same bar as everyone else. The drinks are mixed well though. Great atmosphere! You want to reserve a ticket on the website in advance even though they are usually free.“

“I performed a Blues concert there this week in their large music hall & library with bar which adjoins a very busy bar room playing old school
recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

“Fun to do if in the area, a lot of people come here because the cafe was featured in LaLaLand movie. The music here is great, they have all sorts from day to night. I went to a jazz show and rock band which was fun, the singer was hopping all over the room. LOL I had a jalapeño black salt margarita but wasn’t a fan, it was wellmade but the flavors don’t agree with me. The food smells good but I didn’t eat anything, lots of fried foods. “Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“We thought this was just another boring Mexican restaurant — WRONG!! We thought the food was going to be average, or worse, underwhelming… once again WRONG.

I might need to raise my criteria for 5 stars, because this place checked all the boxes and then some.

Our waitress was attentive, bubbly, and very knowledgeable, which makes an average meal way more appealing… but in this case, the food needed no help. The items we selected were exquisite, tantalizing, and just downright 🔥!

Simple Breakdown of Meal:
• Chips and guac with the mushroom choriqueso, that's a 5-star treat in itself.
• Pulpo al Pastor (octopus)… my wife said it's 🔥🔥… I wasn't brave enough to try it, but it looked amazing for the 'gram.
• Tacos de Pescado: exquisite and magnifique (I'm sure I butchered that word… but you get the drift).

And to wrap it up and put a bow on it, the atmosphere and artwork bring the whole experience together beautifully.

“Went to Huddy’s for Taco Tuesday and left happy. The $1 tacos were juicy and flavorful—none of those dry, disappointing ones you usually get on deal nights. The kale salad was a surprise win, topped with what looked like fried couscous for a nice crunch. Spicy wings were messy in a good way, and the giblet fries were weird but tasty.

Only downside: we were seated right next to the entrance by staff, which meant a constant flow of people walking past and the door swinging open. Kinda killed the vibe. Still, food was solid and I'd go again—just not in that seat.“

“Great wings and pizza and the wing sauces were good. The hot wings aren't very hot so don't be afraid to order the hot wings. It's confusing order set up for me I ordered at the front desk and then set at the bar it wasn't apparent that I could just have ordered from the bar. But all the service people were very attentive to my needs. And always refilled my drink or got me additional plates when I needed it. It's a great Vibe and I would definitely come here again.“
