“My wife and I are retired and we both love going out for breakfast. We have been looking for a special breakfast location in the south bay for some time and tried Mr. G's . It is BY FAR our favorite location - it is a fun, family owned cafe with an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We often share one of the weekday breakfast specials of 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and 2 french toasts for $8.99. You can't beat the food, the price and the friendly staff. We are now Mr. G's regulars .“

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the tasty chicken?😋😋“

“MY Best friend went to get himself a turkey sandwich. And two ham sandwich for my daughter and I. He told me all 3 worker's treated him really kind especially the older guy. He said the older gentleman told him to sit down while he prepared his meal and gave him coffee. He said the staff was very kind. Their sandwiches are very good. The best we ever had. “Cara Mia catered my mother-in-law's memorial service beautifully and on quite short notice. The owner was so incredibly kind and helped us pick out the right things to feed 30+ people, was super responsive via email, and even met us in person when we picked up our order to offer her heartfelt condolences. They went above and beyond to help make this difficult day easier and we were blown away not only by their compassion, but the quality of their baked goods! The memorial guests devoured everything and many of them remarked to us how great the food was :) I can't recommend Cara Mia enough and hope to visit again under happier circumstances. Thank you!!!!“

“I only go for their iced coffee! BUT☆ it is always amazing! The people are always nice, and the app gets you a coffee for under $2! Look out Starbucks! They even have espresso shots available!

Dietary restrictions: If you are GF, DO NOT EAT THE FRIES!! I can eat the sausage mc muffin with egg, no bread, and you can also order the quarter pounder patty with cheese and pickles and catchup for under $2. With Celiac, I have never had a reaction to these items- but, everyone is different. If you're in a pinches, these would be your best bet and not bad on your wallet.“

“The owners here are really nice, and the coffee is top notch. Do not sleep on the Vanilla Bean latte and the egg salad toast.

Also, I appreciate that they don't charge much extra for non-dairy milk- only $0.25 (a lot of places around here charge an extra dollar). Well worth the visit!“

“Amazing coffee and espresso from Columbia. Shop is minimalist and bright. Visiting from out of town, I tried their latte campesino (delicious but I prefer less sweet lattes so I will ask for half syrup next time) and cappuccino. Came back a couple days later for a second visit on the same trip and will make it a point to come back in the future.

“Had lunch here while visiting from San Diego for the day. Had the chicken pesto panini, butternut squash soup, along with a latte and americano. Everything was so good. Perfect amount of pesto on the sandwich (most restaurants skimp on the pesto) and soup was seasoned so well. Got a chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle cookie to-go and they tasted delicious. Service was great and I appreciated that the staff making sure we had the plates and utensils we needed when they brought our food and drinks to the table. Highly recommend getting a bite to eat here. Will be going back when I’m in town.“

“Atmosphere was really nice, and the staff was quick and polite. My only qualm is really the coffee. It was good dont get me wrong, but it wasnt waiting in line till outside the door good. I think this is a good causal place to chat with friends, but not the type to specifically go there for the coffee.

All in all I reccomend going on a weekday where the lines are shorter and there's less people and itll be a very enjoyable experience. I do wish they would expand the drink menu and perhaps add some seasonal drinks.“

“I've had their chicken and waffles, and it was delicious!!!! Today i tried the loaded breakfast burrito and it was also delicious, I will order double protein. One of the staff members let me know they were remaking my burrito because they forgot to put avocado on it which was really kind of them, and also offered me a beverage on the house while I waited which was really kind and appreciated. I ate the burrito while omw to workout and it was delicious! My price was high because I got all the protein and avocado. Otherwise it would have been $18+tax and tip“
