“Long Beach is becoming a food hub rivaling LA. It can go toe to toe with DTLA and its neighborhoods. Straight up. Sesame dinette is another punch 🥊. It hits. Delicious banh mi and meatballs..yes I said meatballs. Everything is sexy and succulent. On top of all that a vegan Vietnamese coffee topped with salted pandan. That’s crazy.“

“We love Marlena and try to support it every chance we get! Everything - from the ambiance to the service to the food - is such a treat. We could not love the cheesecake and gelato more (oh man, the salted caramel flavor just slayed us). I also had the best duck of my life there a while back (please bring back the duck!). We also love all the salads and options for enjoying plants/veggies along with high quality proteins. Also great wine and cocktails. Just such a gem that is sorely needed in LB! I still need to try their coffee but hoping for a gluten free pastry / breakfast option (I would def eat the cheesecake for breakfast - just saying!).

The burrito my brother had looked good and it was huge! This is going on my saved list to return to. A bit pricier than other spots but not by much. Service was ok, waited for water refills and they forgot the dressing to my wife's salad.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at V Cafe in Long Beach and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered The Vietnamese coffee, the Veggie Delight sandwich with a salad, and the Cheesy Mushroom sandwich with a salad.

The Vietnamese coffee was perfectly brewed, offering a robust flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. It was an excellent start to the meal. The Veggie Delight sandwich was fresh and bursting with flavors, complemented wonderfully by the crisp and refreshing salad. “First off, I have to say the coffee I ordered was exceptional and so was the banana bread . Coffee was their popular Maple lavender latter with orange zest . Delicious .

The staff was helpful and tried to keep up with the busy crowd on an early Saturday morning .

It was a bit disappointing to me that I waited about 20 minutes for a cup of coffee . Perhaps a busy day with understaffed crew , so not the end of the world. Would try again for sure give them another opportunity“

i’ve been thinking about brownies for the past few weeks and all i wanted was a good brownie that ISNT WEED and this place cured me. My brownie poisoned mind has been cured and i’m free.

“I’m a hairstylist and work at a salon up the street on Redondo and one of my clients recommended it to me because she used to live in Long Beach. Today was my second time in there and the first time and second time, both sandwiches were delicious, fresh and tasted wonderful. They have a seating area in front of the store that makes it great to enjoy your sandwich. Woman who works there and does the register is very sweet, I hope I catch her name next time. They did a great job making my sandwich and with their customer service - $10 for a delicious and fresh sandwich is not bad at all! 10/10 recommend.“

“Any place that does a pour over knows how to do coffee right and Moon Mountain Coffee is no exception. They also offer a variety of espresso drinks, but I will say a pour over is where it's at. The staff was very friendly. The cafe was clean and well kept. I would recommend checking out Moon Mountain Coffee and would love to come back.“
