“I stopped by for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a cozy, old-school diner feel with friendly staff who remembered my coffee order on my second visit. I tried their chilaquiles and they were fresh, perfectly spiced, and generously portioned. The coffee isn’t fancy but it’s strong and refilled often. “We love Marlena and try to support it every chance we get! Everything - from the ambiance to the service to the food - is such a treat. We could not love the cheesecake and gelato more (oh man, the salted caramel flavor just slayed us). I also had the best duck of my life there a while back (please bring back the duck!). We also love all the salads and options for enjoying plants/veggies along with high quality proteins. Also great wine and cocktails. Just such a gem that is sorely needed in LB! I still need to try their coffee but hoping for a gluten free pastry / breakfast option (I would def eat the cheesecake for breakfast - just saying!).

“I needed to kill some time before my nail appointment, and I stumbled upon this bakery. I didn't get a chance to try a coffee (gave it up for Lent 😩), but i did try the iced tea/lemonade. The name escapes me but it was really good! The breakfast sandwiches were sold out, so get there early if you wanna try them. I had the egg in a basket....the bread was so good! I'm definitely coming back again. No seating! Grab & Go!“

“Excellent. I had a mango lychee tea and a mushroom havarti sandwich that were both excellent. The tea was refreshing with fresh mint and real mango puree rather than just sugar syrup like you get at so many places. The sandwich had a little bit of cranberry to cut the umami of the mushroom and cheese and was really delicious. Very hearty and satisfying. I'm not a vegetarian and I still loved it. Highly recommend.“

“First off, I have to say the coffee I ordered was exceptional and so was the banana bread . Coffee was their popular Maple lavender latter with orange zest . Delicious .

The staff was helpful and tried to keep up with the busy crowd on an early Saturday morning .

It was a bit disappointing to me that I waited about 20 minutes for a cup of coffee . Perhaps a busy day with understaffed crew , so not the end of the world. Would try again for sure give them another opportunity“

Steelhead Coffee (est 2015) is a picturesque little coffee shop in Belmont shore Long Beach. They offer freshly brewed artisan coffee, espresso and tea to wake patrons up in the morning. In addition, there are pastries to indulge locals and visitors while sipping their coffee.

Its interior color scheme and layout were truly an eye catcher. Moreover, this coffee shop has plenty of natural light from its large windows. Their indoor seats are limited but they have additional front outdoor seats to compensate. I came and ordered an Iced Green Tea x light sucrose. And I must say it’s refreshing, and the best cold tea drink I had for years.

They sell bean bags, merch, mugs and tumblers for customers. Atmosphere was very relaxing. Staff were amiable and professional. Plenty of street parking. Overall, I recommend this cute coffee shop.“

I also had a bite of my friend's almond croissant and it was literally the best one I have ever had. Food came out quick.
