“A few super authentic Japanese Restaurants in the Bay Area. Main Chef Eric is experienced 20+ years. You can ask his Omakase (Chef Choice). Once you taste Mikado’s super fresh Sushi and Sashimi, it is really hard to find the satisfaction from other places. Their Kitchen Items (grilled items, tempura, and Udon) also absolutely good.”

“We are regulars at The Pho Cabin and have had it dozens of times because the broth here was so good. Last time we went there, something was off with the broth and noodles. The noodles were mushy and the broth tasted like salt water. It may have been just a one-off, but with so many good pho places in the area, we haven’t been there since.”

“I think it's good to be able to eat a lunch box for this price considering the location.
They also serve brown rice tea for free. I had the lunch bento box with a choice of 2 sides, $17.50. You can choose sushi rolls or nigiri sushi on the side, but there's plenty of white rice, so I personally recommend choosing a side dish. Personally, I'm concerned about the quality of the white rice. There's nothing wrong with vinegared rice, but that white rice is a no-no in Japanese food. The female staff member was very kind and managed the whole thing by herself. I think there was one craftsman who seemed to be Japanese.”

“Los Altos needed a place like this. Everything was on point, from beautifully crafted drinks to the timeless elegance of the space. I specifically wanted to shoutout Josh, who made our experience even more incredible, helping us find the perfect drinks to suit our tastes while still pushing our comfort zones. His passion for his craft really shone through. I will be returning and hope to see Josh again!”

“Yoshi Sushi has several locations in the Bay Area which all of them are so consistent with quality and customer service! I have been to the San Jose one and now I have decided to try the one in Los Altos. Parking was very easy as they have a spacious parking lot in front of the restaurant!

Upon walking in, we were warmly greeted by the host and directed the QR code for ordering. I love the QR code ordering system because it includes all the pictures of the items! There was so many options on the menu and it was hard to choose since everything looked so good! We ended up ordering 3 rolls, 1 dream box, and a smoking salmon sashimi which was perfect for 3 friends to share! My favorite was the giants roll and dream box! The slices of fish in the dream box were huge and it also came with some uni too! After eating the huge buttery slices in the dream box, I will be surely having dreams about sushi in my sleep!

1x Kamikaze Roll - so yummy, a little spicy
1x Smoking Salmon Sashimi- loved the smoke show, sashimi tasted smoky yummy
1x Giants Roll- as a salmon lover, i enjoyed this so much
1x Dinosaur Roll- reminds me of a dragon roll, but better
1x Dream Box- my most favorite, the slices of fish were huge and so buttery”

“My kids loved it! We sat at the bar in front of the sushi train and they enjoyed picking out their favorite dishes. If you don’t see your favorite, you can ask the chefs behind the counter and they’ll prep one for you.”

My preference is for the 7:17 (give or take) omakase at the bar followed by a night meeting around a square or round table. Each person has two people to talk to at the bar (Me - Jeff- Elon - Mark - Lauren - Priscilla - Sergey- - Larry - Larry - plus 4 additional guests if others can attend - Camelia Me 12 Camelia Typically my wife returns home early by Lyft or Uber but I stay out later and sometimes overnight in Woodside at a suitable location.”

“This feedback for the cafe at Seton Hospital. Unfortunately, I've been visiting hospice care for the past 4 weeks. I bought coffee and an occasional brownie from the cafe a few times. I have to say, no matter how busy it is, each person behind the counter has had the biggest smile and the utmost courtesy to each person in line, including myself. They probably don't realize that their smiles and positive attitude really help. Please let them know they're appreciated....and give them a huge bonus 😉”

“It was kinda slow as I was there a little past their rush but a great time to get good service. Sadly they close way way way too early for me which was quite disappointing as I personally feel there's so much more potential for late night revenue if they stayed open even after closing the kitchen. I basically had 3 different people serving me and would go back for any one of them. They were all super nice and attentive. Food and drinks were great and prices are favorable. It's not a cheap place to eat but for the type of establishment it is they're priced fairly and not overpriced like many places of the same class. I had a Hickory BBQ bacon cheeseburger myself which comes with a side of your choice. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare and medium rare is what i got. ❤️ The flavor? Mmh! Amazing! I'm looking very forward to my next trip there. They also have a full bar at that location. I know they're a family oriented business but I feel they'd also do well after family hours but maybe they're satisfied with what they got and aren't needing the money. I understand many establishments prefer to cater only to specific clientele and that's understandable but many would love to see them expand and would support it. ?? For now they close at 8:30 which seems to be a typical norm for that area so get there early and enjoy. ?

Vegetarian options: It's not a vegetarian establishment but there's salads etc with no meat and I believe a meat free burger choice

Parking: Parking can be somewhat limited if it gets busy especially since there are multiple business establishments that all share common parking areas. I happened to get there at a slower time and had no issue with close up parking. There's also a shopping center across the road that could be used if parking is scarce.

Kid-friendliness: It's definitely family oriented and have games there to confirm it. Might be a great place for birthday parties, etc.

Wheelchair accessibility: Most definitely ADA compliant with handicap accessible amenities.”

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.”

“I really enjoyed the banh mi with pork floss and pate. The floss lent a sweet, salty, umami flavor. The bread was fresh and soft. The pickles: mildly tangy. So good.

Food arrived in a timely manner, and the ambience outdoors on a Sunday afternoon was wonderful.

Given the recent string of negative reviews, I was a little hesitant about visiting, but was ultimately very satisfied and would go again.

My only wish is for them to have a hot tea option - not just boba and smoothies. It was early afternoon so caffeine wasn't appealing, and I wanted something lighter to complement the food.”

“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!”

“Typical coffee shop atmosphere, comfy booths, great breakfast options and the coffee is better than average for a coffee shop and plenty of it. One of my go-to places for breakfast meetings.”

“OPH is one of my favorite breakfast chains, but this location isn't like the others. The usually light, fluffy pancakes were heavier and the bacon wasn't the thick-cut awesomeness found across other OPH locations. The building was also an anomaly among other OPH locations I've been to, lacking some polish and charm. Service was attentive, so points there.

As a breakfast place, not terrible. But as an OPH, I expected more consistency with the brand standard.”

“Great tasting food. Very good atmosphere with melodic greek music from the golden era of greek music. Good service. Amazing food quality for the price. The lamb moussaka is one of the best I have ever eaten. The taramasalata is smooth, not too salty, not too fishy, one of the best. Same holds for the galactoboureko, not too sweet, very aromatic and juicy. My only comment is a request to add vegetarian moussaka to the menu if possible. Again a great experience overall.”

“We enjoy the interesting twist to the traditional brunch items. The food is simple, tasty, good portion; the servers are courteous and friendly; and the place is clean and bright. It’s our new go to for brunch and lunch.”

“We have driven by for years always planning to go in. Finally we made it! Food ordered. Fresh peach Burata salad (so fabulous). Duck (raves from those who ordered it). Pork chop (my husband ate every bite off the bone. French oinion soup and tomato soup (outstanding!) Desserts were also great. But didn't taste made on site. Crepes and beignet. Coffee excellent! Warm August evening. But would have been nice to have a heater going (which they have). Fun umbrella lights were a nice touch to the chateau environment Excellent service! There was only 1 other group. But still! Pricing is for a nice meal out. Can't do it every day. But for the quality felt price was fair. Looking forward to trying brunch.”

“One of my late night places to get my boba from. The staff are always friendly and even when they've screwed up, they apologize and are genuine about it and they happily remake my drinks with a smile.

I also love the prices 👍🏽 and the place always have plenty of parking outfront.

The order kisok is so convenient or you can place your order online on their website for pick up but after 10pm, you can't unless you have it doordashed!”

“We've been going to the red pepper ever since it was in Monte Vista. It's still a very good casual restaurant with good food. The carne asada is the real deal and it's just fantastic tender and delicious. We were told they marinated for days on end to get that flavor and tenderness. It's a cut above your typical Mexican restaurant, but still a casual eating place with an extensive drink menu.”

“Their leaf quality is next level. I love the tie guan yin oolong. The boba quality is solid. Staff are friendly. Their matcha latte leaves a lot to be desired. It has an artificially too sweet honey flavor. Can't taste the matcha. It is barely green. Boba bliss has better matcha (Izumi Matcha even better though).”

“very good food. Large portions. For 2 people, we ordered 6 dishes. We probably could have ordered 4 and been just enough because I was so full! I like how the food comes out slowly so you can enjoy the food. The vegetable tempura was very generous portions, also the chicken karrage! Loved the eel omelette.”
