Even though I reviewed Roja in September of 2024, I felt compelled to share my thoughts again because this restaurant is consistently improving and upgrading in every aspect. They truly seem dedicated to providing the best for their customers, and I can't help but appreciate their efforts!

On of the aspects I truly love about Roja is their commitment to seasonal menu changes. It keeps the dining experience fresh and exciting! Beef Wellington is on the menu now and I must say it was the highlight of my dining experience! It was cooked to perfection; the tenderloin within was a gorgeous, rosy pink medium -rare and incredibly tender. The outer layer was a triumph of texture: a crisp golden brown, and wonderfully flaky puff pastry crust. The balance of flavors and expert preparation were simply outstanding. It seemed like everyone around me was ordering it, which speaks volumes about its popularity! Immediately after I ordered, our waiter came over and expertly suggested wonderful wine pairings, and it's amazing how much the restaurant's wine list has grown since it opened in 2024.

I highly recommend this restaurant; it's an amazing all-around dining experience thanks to the excellent food, great wine selection, pleasant ambiance, and top-notch service. I also highly recommend making reservations as the tables fill up quickly!

For $18.95 there’s pastries, fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, breads, and even a make-your-own pho station (note: only chicken pho is available for this).

The pho station is a nice touch—you get your own noodles and can build your bowl fresh. The pastry section has croissants, chocolate pastries, sandwiches, pancakes, and more. There’s also a good spread of fresh fruit and healthy options if you want something lighter.

The outdoor seating area is cozy with greenery and white tablecloths, making it a nice spot to enjoy a relaxed brunch!”

“OPH is one of my favorite breakfast chains, but this location isn't like the others. The usually light, fluffy pancakes were heavier and the bacon wasn't the thick-cut awesomeness found across other OPH locations. The building was also an anomaly among other OPH locations I've been to, lacking some polish and charm. Service was attentive, so points there.

As a breakfast place, not terrible. But as an OPH, I expected more consistency with the brand standard.”

I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.”

“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!”

“Food was absolutly outstanding. We were there during the Los Altos Festival of lights. As you can imagine, it can be pretty crazy with tons of people. We ordered our food and it didn't take long at all the chef was on top of it. We ordered the Avgolemono Soup, although a bit small portion, very tasty. Octapodi - Calimari, our son loved it as an app. We ordered the Biftekia - Meatballs, again very tasty. This dish, the Pastitsio was amazing, loads of flavor and very tasty. Also got the Kotopoulo Souvlaki, which again cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Solomos and she loved it. We loved this place and look forward to coming back again.”

“We've been going to the red pepper ever since it was in Monte Vista. It's still a very good casual restaurant with good food. The carne asada is the real deal and it's just fantastic tender and delicious. We were told they marinated for days on end to get that flavor and tenderness. It's a cut above your typical Mexican restaurant, but still a casual eating place with an extensive drink menu.”
