“This feedback for the cafe at Seton Hospital. Unfortunately, I've been visiting hospice care for the past 4 weeks. I bought coffee and an occasional brownie from the cafe a few times. I have to say, no matter how busy it is, each person behind the counter has had the biggest smile and the utmost courtesy to each person in line, including myself. They probably don't realize that their smiles and positive attitude really help. Please let them know they're appreciated....and give them a huge bonus 😉”

“Robin in Menlo Park has quickly become one of my absolute favorite sushi restaurants in the Bay Area.
I’ve been here at least ten times now, and each visit feels just as exciting as the first. The consistency, creativity, and attention to detail are what make this place stand out in the Bay Area dining scene.
One of the best things about Robin is the flexibility of the menu. You can choose à la carte if you have favorites in mind, or you can go for the omakase and let the chefs guide your evening. I’ve experienced both, and I can honestly say you can’t go wrong either way. The omakase is particularly special — every dish arrives beautifully plated, with flavors that are fresh, innovative, and balanced. The fish quality is always top-notch, from the buttery otoro to the delicate hamachi, and the chefs often surprise you with unique touches that make each course memorable.
The à la carte options are equally impressive, especially if you want to revisit your favorites. The nigiri and small plates showcase the freshness of the ingredients, and the variety keeps the dining experience exciting. Even the desserts are worth saving room for — light, creative, and the perfect way to finish the meal.
The atmosphere inside Robin is modern yet welcoming, with a stylish design that still feels comfortable. Service is another highlight: the staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely make you feel taken care of.
Robin has become one of my favorite restaurants in Silicon Valley, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, it always feels unforgettable.”

“Arguably the best Cajun seafood in the Bay Area. We’re practically regulars here, we come about every two weeks. The headless shrimp, mussels, and king crab are all fantastic. The service is great too, very attentive, and parking is super easy. You can even grab dessert next door afterward with no problem.
If I had to point out one downside, it’s that the front door is ridiculously heavy and hard to push open.”

“I took my son to Sushi Jin for his 14th birthday as a birthday gift while my wife was out of town. We both got the Omikase, along with the uni flight and a dessert. The food was outstanding in every regard and the best sushi I have had (including Japan). My son loved it and enjoyed the experience (yes, he appreciates fancy food, as we cook with clean ingredients every night at home except on special occasions when we eat out). The service was excellent and each course was well presented and explained by the chef. Most importantly, the fish was super fresh with a variety of flavors. I will take my wife there next time we have a special occasion. Highly recommended.”

“Sat at the bar, by choice. Good selection of fine spirits, especially Japanese whiskey and tequila. Cocktails were very well made and balanced. We also asked for a mocktail modified to be “less sweet” than normal and it came out perfect. Food was great, not outstanding, but I would absolutely eat here again. The truffle fries were a miss for us since the white sauce makes them soggy. Burger and NY steak were exactly as advertised, possibly sous vide on the medium rare steak. The tempura mushrooms stood out to us as one of the best small dishes we ate. The Spanish Octopus was an unusually large tentacle, made me wonder how tender it would be. I prefer to have octopus more on the grilled side and that seemed to be lacking here but the favor was decent. The oysters were delicious!”

“By far the best Mexican food you will ever eat. The menu is filled with dishes new to me yet also has some classics. This is true Mexico City fare at its best. The cocktails are creative and fresh with house made purées and syrups. I will be back many times!”

“Very nice modern spot with a clean aesthetic and friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The food is great comfort fare — I highly recommend the Original Single Patty with fries for a classic combo. The Mushroom Chicken is a flavorful option if you’re looking for something different, and the Mac N Cheese is creamy and satisfying. Portions are generous, definitely great for sharing. Overall, a solid choice for a casual bite while shopping.”

“Our dinner was amazing from start to finish! Came with friends and tried a few different dishes, including two different styles of momo (kothe and choila), akbare wings, cauli 8848, and chicken chow mein. The juju dhau was also a great way to end the night. Everything was so great! If you’re on the fence, don't hesitate! You have to go here :)”

“Food was great, service was excellent, and the vibe was unpretentious. Our young kids really enjoyed the dishes and we had to even order an extra bowl of just steamed rice 😅. - Milk bread = chef's kiss - Coconut fritters had an interesting combination of flavors and texture - Kohlrabi with pomegranate seeds was "super good" according to my 6-year-old. I could not verify because he inhaled the whole thing. - Meiji tofu custard with shrimp and snap peas: Another hit with both kids, which always equals a win. - Spanish octopus had the right amount of crisp on the outside and the right amount of bite overall. - Pork belly was a bit too sweet to our liking. - Banana milk soft serve with mochi and shaved peanut butter - Griddled pistachio financiers: We'd never had griddled financiers, so the bruleed financiers were a new treat.”

“As usual, Ramen Nagi has a long wait. Sometimes there are lulls in the line, which is when I happened to get in. The line is outside, so be prepared for the weather. When you get close to the front, they give you a sheet to fill out on what you want. I got the squid ink with everything the usual except with lower sodium and a 4 on spice. I should have asked for more spice, 4 was not that spicy! I also like the thick noodles, the thin ones are a little too thin. The meat on the top of the squid ink ramen was scrumptious!!
The service, once they get you seated, is super fast. I added the bean sprouts from the table to mine! We also split a chicken kaarage, which was yummy. I had enough to take home a little in a too go box!”

“It feels like a four year schools! So many resources for students and amazing staff that are mostly folks who have worked or are actively working in Silicon Valley. The transfer department is awesome and made sure that I was able to get the classes I needed to have a successful transfer and continue on to a UC!”
