The ice cream is delish, with many unique flavors to choose from. I especially enjoyed Orange Cardamom. Games and books available to entertain the kiddos. “What a delightful surprise. I’m an admitted milk tea addict and up till now had a favorite spot I’d come to on a regular basis. This is my new favorite spot now. The drinks are delicious and the experience is not only tasty, but so much fun with the little surprises and decorative cups they serve their beverages in. “I appreciate any cafe these days that is a nice spot to do work at, since many don't have ample seating or wifi! Sue's Gallery cafe is spacious, has delicious drinks, and wifi! It's in a really nice spot that's quiet and not super busy, and there's some street parking nearby. I sat outside to do some work while the weather was nice, and it was a great experience. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the vanilla latte and toast was delicious nonetheless.“

“A coffee roaster and cafe located in California, USA. It started in San Francisco in 2013, and as the city is named after Saint Francis, the coffee house is also named that way. Like St. Francis, they form a network with small coffee farms around them and work together to achieve mutual benefit. It's a branch located at the Menlo Park Caltrain station, but from a distance it looks like just a counter, so you wouldn't even know it was a coffee shop. When you get close, you can smell the fragrant coffee. Feels like Blue Bottle coffee with a mild sour taste. This is the first place that comes to mind. It's not a fancy place, located in a container in the parking lot behind Mentor Park Caltrain Station, but the coffee tastes amazing, and the atmosphere is great as you watch the Caltrain pass by. Of course, since there are only outdoor tables, sunglasses are a must.St. Frank Roastery has several of its own stores, but also supplies products to other cafes. San Francisco's favorite cafe, Coffee Movement, also uses coffee beans from here.It seems like it was just yesterday that I was riding my bike every day and drinking a glass of Flat White during the pandemic, but time flies so quickly.“

“Came here for their good variety chasen to buy and I ended up getting the chasen if suikaen! It is one of the cheapest ones in the store for $38. The person who gave me the chasen was super nice enough to explain how to wash and use it. I also got the matcha latte and the recipe is the exact same as the San Jose location, rich in matcha and creamy in dairy! It was super busy when I came here, but other than that, Izumi Matcha is by far my favorite matcha places to go to in the Bay Area!“

“If y’all don’t know about Ada’s, y’all should — because they got one of the BEST coffees around town. They are locally sourced and get the most organic beans, and make the BEST pastries. And best of all, they are a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise running in the heart of Palo Alto. I work at Cubberley not far from Ada’s, so I have been coming by often and supporting.A big shout out goes to Kathleen, the owner and founder of Ada’s Cafe — she’s absolutely humble and very caring at every customer. She goes above and beyond in support of not only the neurodivergent community, but also for the communities in need in Palo Alto.I ordered a 16oz latte with whole milk on a Friday — and they honestly served it with SO much love and so much belonging. It truly felt like I was at home, but 10x better. The beans had flavor, and the whole milk wasn’t overly saturated. I also appreciated how much love and consideration they put in the croissant sandwich as well, because the ingredients were fresh and not too sweet or too salty at all.It is located next to the Palo Alto Library, and they do close early at 4pm. There is limited indoor seating, but there is a variety of things you can choose from. “I didn't know it was such a hot place. Surprisingly, there were so many people waiting in line. They had many types of coffee with unique flavors added. Because it was afternoon, I chose chai latte instead of coffee, but the London Fog with lavender and Tokyo Latte with strawberry flavor that my friends chose were really refreshing! “My family just tried this relatively new restaurant for brunch on Sunday and so glad we did! It was a beautiful day out and even though there were plenty of tables inside and out, my daughter opted to eat inside. After you walk in, you order and pay before finding yourself a place to sit. We were in a bit of a rush since my daughter had a soccer game nearby, and the employee was very nice and said she would rush our order and put our drinks in to go cups even though we were dining there. The menu offers a variety of options to choose from, including Korean staples like fried chicken and rice cakes, as well as salads, burgers and croffles (cross between a croissant and a waffle). They also serve specialty coffees, boba teas, cocktails, beer and wine. We sampled the chicken croffle, fish and ships and shrimp fettucine alfredo. I must say, all the food was delicious! The fried chicken that went with the croffle was seasoned well and was very crispy, like it was double battered. I had never tried a croffle before, but it was really tasty! It came with sliced grapes and strawberries. My only complaint is that the dish was swimming in syrup. It wasn't overly sweet, but I would have preferred the syrup on the side. I'll know to order that next time! The fish and chips included 2 large pieces of fish and seasoned fries. The fish was pretty good, but the fries were excellent! At first I was reluctant to let my 8 year old order a $20 pasta dish, but with 5 large shrimps and prosciutto mixed in the sauce, it was definitely worth it. It was a generous portion and tasted like carbonara! Highly recommend! My daughter also ordered a mango drink with lychee jelly, which she enjoyed and I had an iced orange grapefruit black tea that was really refreshing. I was pretty impressed with Corner Kitchen. Happy to see that the place had a steady stream of customers coming in while we were dining there. I hope this place stays awhile! I can't wait to go back and try more things, especially the Korean dishes!!“

“Small coffee gem with limited range of food options located at a cozy backyard right off Cal Ave. Ordered a golden latten and a salmon toast and I must say everything was delicious. The coffee had a very good balance between the turmeric and the honey which made this special drink delicious. The salmon toast was also very good with a good amount of salmon. However, I felt like the portion was slightly too small. The coffee shop was very busy on a Sunday morning but service was rather friendly and efficient.“

“A few blocks down University lies Blue Bottle… where they share a space with the Hanahaus. I’ve been to this location a couple of times and it feels quite homey as I love their architecture.I usually go for their pastries and cold brew but this time around, i wanted to try something a little different when it came to drinks. I had the 16oz iced Nola and the butter croissant… needless to say I was quite impressed with the fact that their butter croissant was buttery and fluffy (not too hard even after it started getting a little bit cold). The iced Nola was not watery at all, and I was able to feel the espresso even after the ice melted and all that.The only thing I have in terms of service and atmosphere was the fact that they kinda rushed the process of my order, which I didn’t really appreciate. It’s often full in the afternoon, and there’s not really a lot of places to charge your laptop if you need to work on stuff at the coffee shop, hence the reason why the minus one star. But I would come again.Parking: Keep in mind that in Palo Alto, most free parking is limited to two hours… even in the public parking lots. So you will have to plan accordingly according to that.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t say this is a kid-friendly place by too many means, due to the fact that they share a space with Hanahaus and it’s a hub for all the 9-5 workers. But I wouldn’t see why not to bring your kid with you!“

One in the front and one to the right, next to seating in the corner.My drink was the Mango Pomelo, and I ordered it 50% sweet and regular ice. It was exactly what I wanted it to be......mango'y!!! It was sweet, a bit tart and delicious.The only complaints there were were about the Thai tea. My friend didn't like it much, but I didn't try it for myself.This shopping center is quite busy on weekends so parking can be difficult to find close. May have to park a little farther.There are so many good food choices in this shopping center. Would suggest having some dumplings or noodles nearby, then get your tea on your way out.“

“I used to go to Peet's on Laurel St. all the time, but they have competition! Groovy Goose is a new coffee spot in San Carlos, and their lattes are wonderful! Really good. The staff is young and friendly too. They could use a few more tables, but I'm happy to go and pick up a latte any day. They could also expand their pastry selection, but - don't tell Peet's - as for coffee, probably the best in San Carlos! I recommend.“

“Best boba I have ever had! I had the Creme Brulee Latte (also had black tea added to it) and it was so tasty! The boba pearls were so soft and chewy. The foam on top was delicious. I love that they use organic milk, which was the main reason I came. I can’t wait to come back and try more drinks.“

We also got a raspberry fruit tart and chocolate chip cookie, they weren’t as good as the other two. For drinks we got an iced mocha and iced americano, the drinks were mid. “Bean scene cafe catered for our Grand Opening weekend of YogaSix Sunnyvale and the food was fantastic! Their pastries were wonderful and we loved their sandwiches! Our members and staff really enjoyed the food. Kenny the owner is very nice and took great care of us! We will definitely be back!“

“This spot is a downtown gem, off the beaten track, and open to the public (next to senior center Avenidas). The food is delicious, fresh, and has the “extra flair” that comes from Chef Julien being a passionate foodie and French culinary school trained professional. The fish sandwich is outstanding (I have now had it on three visits!) with beer-based batter (not too much, not greasy, not dry) with at least seven different savors coming through the sauce, fresh veggies, and condiments on the fresh ciabatta bun. I like to have it with a Perrier sparkling water and follow up with tiny raspberry jam-filled beignets and a small americano on the hidden inside patio. Chef Julien is working to expand and improve coffee offerings. He is kind, down-to-earth, and very approachable. And also does catering for events, has a crêpe stand at the Sunday California Avenue Farmer’s Market, and is a private chef. Great value for money.“

“A very unique, Korean-flavored inspired cafe! The injeolmi cake was very light and spongy, whereas the black sesame cake was super dense on the bottom and complimented by the soft cream on top. The madelines were very thick and the red velvet one had cream cheese filling inside. I also got the yakgwa latte, which tasted exactly like a sweet potato! The texture was thick too. Would recommend coming here for a special day, but everything is quite pricey!“

“Double (decaf) cappuccino was exceptional (as judged by this self-confessed coffee snob). Sitting outside on a "dry" day was a luxury in this winter of atmospheric rivers. The place is always busy, and little wonder: the espresso drink was very, very good, the atmosphere wonderful, the place super clean, and the staff personable. Overall, a worthy coffee place.Parking: This is downtown Palo Alto, people. Parking is always difficult, and subject to close timing surveillance.Kid-friendliness: A very civilized, adult atmosphere would be spoiled by kids, much I love them....“

“Menlo Park is a really up and coming strip of restaurants and cafes south of SF. Andytown is a coffee roaster from SF that opened up in Menlo Park. It’s a really nicely designed space, with an elaborate ceiling crafted with curved wood beams and lights. The coffee is solid. I tried their house special “The Original Bird”, which has espresso on ice, soda water, topped with a house made whipped cream. It’s cool and refreshing, just enough sweetness. I also tried some of their “Wind & Sea Blend” drip coffee, which is pretty good for a drip stored in a big container. They don’t have pour over which was a mild surprise.I also tried their breakfast sandwich, which is thick toasted bread with ham, bacon, and an egg with runny yolk. It’s a bit oily and messy, but overall another solid menu item.Indoors, they have a communal table with 4 stools and a curved bench for around 4-6 indoors and another 4 tables or so outside. When it gets busy there would probably not be anywhere to sit. It’s a nice spot, always great to find another quality coffee roaster with a store front.“

“I’ve been gluten free for 15 years, and it has been rough. But I have made the most of it by searching for gluten free treats everywhere I go. I’ve had gluten free pastries in dozens of cities including London, Florence, Madrid, Sacramento, Lahaina, and Austin. Other than the now shuttered Helmut Newcake in Paris, Sweet Diplomacy is my favorite of all time (and only 20 minutes away!). If you have tried baking gluten free you know pastry (choux, puff, flakey) is really hard to do. This place gets pastry and cakes as close to wheat flour as it gets. I enjoy all of the offerings but I’m most impressed by the pastry. The cream puffs OMG. And today I tried the tiramisu for the first time (it knocked my socks off).The coffee is excellent, and I love their cupcake varieties and cookies but my stomach is only so big.I personally do not reach for the vegan offerings but this is because I don’t need to (give me butter!!). If you have restrictions they have nut free and vegan options.I’m super impressed by this, especially knowing the difficulty of GF baking.Dietary restrictions: 100% Gluten free. Vegan options. “Near a curve on a four line road is an eclectic older Mexican restaurant with artistic merit, interesting landscaping outdoor dining and several different kinds of tables and chairs indoors, including a bar.The menu has several options many of which I had not seen in Mexican food places before. I have tried their tamales, chili relleno, black beans, pinto beans, rice, grilled chicken, quesadilla, pico, guacamole, and the provided chips and salsa. All of the flavors are excellent. The green sauce and masa of the tamale, and the firm aged relleno cheese filling were outstanding.Indoors is Mexican music, while outdoors there is traffic noise. The tortilla chips are the thin triangle bagged kind. The restroom has an old sink and fixtures. But the custom artwork, high ceilings with paper fiesta decor and painted furniture are classic south of the border. The seats are all flat wood, no cushions. No sauce bar or extra hot sauce present. Will need another visit to try the mole.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas are great.“

“Parking lot is small and shared by other businesses. they are open 24/7 ! When i went it was 10pm and still many options to choose from. Donuts are fluffy and soft. Huge to. Paid $25 for 6 donuts . Alot of seating areas. Lady who helped us was nice and attentive, looked like she was working alone though . They make the donuts fresh everyday! They have coffee and a fridge full of varieties of drinks. They even have plain milk when we asked for it! Would come again and recommend!“

“The cashier took a long conversation break with another person working there between taking the order of the person in front of me and my order even though I had been standing in line the whole time. The coffee was great as usual but maybe the cashiers shouldn't ignore people in line while they chat.“

“Our family frequented this spot for quite a few months as we take our toddler to the play gym next door on a weekly basis and we love the local family ambiance here! It's always busy Saturday mornings, but never so busy that you can't find a spot to sit and sip your coffee or chow down on your breakfast. Their coffee is good, and we're a big fan of their bagels and that's really all we could ask for! Parking is a bit iffy depending on the time of day, since we're there early for the play gym we never have much of an issue but we have seen the lot completely packed when we come out of our gym class.“

“Decent environment and devices are good. The system is also good, containing a comprehensive set of songs, even some recent released new songs. You can bring your own drinks in. $29 per hour for a small room in afternoon time and can afford up to 4 people. Generally good experience.“

The kind gentlemen have me the WiFi info before purchasing anything. I'm not sure if there's inside seating as this cafe seems to be a part of a church. Customer service provided by John was top-notch! He really took his time with his customers and drinks to make sure everyone was happy. I appreciate the small chats and accommodations! Parking was a little difficult. Only about 6-7 spots in the front. Really a community cafe. Would be back if I were to grab coffee with a friend but I wouldn't exactly advocate to work here since I prefer the convenience of being indoors when I work. Nonetheless, I'd recommend this place!“

“I've always liked happy lemon since their taste of all the happy lemon drinks in different branches have always stayed consistent. It's my first time at this particular location & I came at a slow time during mid day which is nice since the other locations I've been usually gets packed. The ambiance of this location is so nice since it's so clean inside & it's located near a lot of different food chains. Totally would go back to this location.“

“I tried Kona Island Coffee's new Mango Macadamia coffee cake. It is a moderately sweet new item they are trying out. This isn't overly sugary. It contains pieces of mango and provides a nice balance to their coffee. I would get it again.“

“Had a fat weeklong craving for smoked salmon, and this was one of the places that's been on my radar for brunch. First thing I noticed was how cute the interior is!! It's decked in flower decorations and interesting table setups. They also have screen-free weekends, so don't come here on a weekend if you need a place to sit down and work. We got the smoked salmon toast with avocado, berry brûlée toast (a spring special item!), and a matcha latte, which they say is made with ceremonial grade matcha imported from Japan. Smoked salmon toast was standard smoked salmon toast, which in my opinion, is all you can really ask for if you love smoked salmon like me. The crust on the toast was a bit overly hard, though, but I mean...I feel like any cafe with thick toast is going to have that. Berry brûlée toast was nicely sweet and creamy, but I had hoped there would be more berries. Matcha latte was STRONG on the matcha. We ended up diluting it with more milk from the communal pitchers LOL. It's good you know they're not diluting it themselves though! Overall, I'd definitely be back. It's a bit pricey here but still more affordable than other brunch spots. Waffles look great too!“

“Stopped by to pick up a few sandwiches since I’ve been craving banh mi. Staff was kind and welcoming and the inside was well kept and clean. Ordered the BBQ pork with everything and added a fried egg since that’s my go to. Bread was perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts like mouth like some other places, and the flavors of the pickled vegetables and the pork were amazing! Definitely finished the whole sandwich and wanted more. Will be back next time to try the other varieties!“

“A relatively refreshing milk tea with a good tea aroma. When paired with milk, it is not sticky and fragrant and refreshing. Lingnan Jiali, Suyan Ceylon, and sea salt ice tea are all delicious and highly recommended milk tea shops. It’s a big cup and the price is not expensive. However, there is something wrong with the design of the paper cup and lid. I held the cup countless times and the lid and cup came apart, causing the milk tea to spill out. I suggest the merchant adjust the design of the paper cup.“

“Really cute & chic bakery with delicious pastries. The store is really spacious -- you can order your coffee & pastries for take out but there's also a whole section of the restaurant where you can sit down and eat as well. I really enjoyed the flat croissant. For me, it's the best part of the croissant -- the crispiness and flakiness of a croissant. The strawberry glaze and freeze-dried strawberries also added a nice touch. Would come back just for this. The almond croissant was pretty good but not amazing. The croissant itself was flaky and fluffy. The filling was good but personally thought there was too much filling so that's all you taste in eat bite. It's a little too overpowering and felt like I was mainly just eating that. 100% have to heat it up before eating -- otherwise, it tastes very mid. Overall, their desserts & pastries are yummy but don't think it's worth the drive here if you don't live in the area.“

“The go-to coffee shop in Mountain View. Consistently great lattes, particularly a half-sweet hazelnut latte. Good selection of beans for purchase, with roast levels being on the lighter side. There's not a lot of room on the first floor to stand and wait for your drink, however it's a historical building so I don't see that changing any time soon. If you haven't been to Red Rock in quite some time, it's worth a revisit!“

“Try the croque madame! It makes for a delicious and decadent lunch and comes with a good side salad. They also have a tasty cheesecake. The coffee/drinks are just OK for me and the hot chocolate was disappointing - definitely skip. Good almond croissant and chocolate croissants as well. Service is friendly although tables are not cleaned in a timely manner. This is a nice spot to have in Redwood City and has potential to be great with improved beverages/cleanliness.“

Customer service provided by John was top-notch! He really took his time with his customers and drinks to make sure everyone was happy. I appreciate the small chats and accommodations! Parking was a little difficult. Only about 6-7 spots in the front. Really a community cafe. Would be back if I were to grab coffee with a friend but I wouldn't exactly advocate to work here since I prefer the convenience of being indoors when I work. Nonetheless, I'd recommend this place!“
