The shawarma chicken on the Greek salad with chicken item was tough and chewy; and had little flavor, as if it had been left over from a day or two ago--most disappointing as I had read reviews praising it.“

Service was great except they started asking if we wanted to take home leftovers while some of us were still eating. Just a pet peeve of mine. Wait until everyone is done before clearing plates or offering boxes. The food is always excellent and they always get the orders correct, even with modifications.“

Located right next to Shoup park it’s not a place for hikes but large enough to take a good walk and keep the little ones busy. This is a downtown Los Altos outpost for Byington Vineyards and Winery, which has estates in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Alexander Valley. They sell wine by the bottle, glass, and flight. It’s a great place to come in the afternoon for some remote work, to catch up with friends, or to enjoy wine on the evening. The selection is outstanding! Pinot, Chardonnay, Cabernet, sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, and more than 20 wines more! This is a TRUE HIDDEN GEM.“

“I had my daughter’s baby shower and this place made the celebration so special for my daughter. Thao and Thuy and the rest of the staff were so professional and were very attentive to our needs. The table settings, the room and the food and tea were excellent! I did not have to do much. They did the set up and the cleaning after. I was able to enjoy the celebration with the guests and my daughter since everything else was taken care of. If you’re planning any event, please make sure to check this place out. They have ample parking in the back lot which is huge for me as I hate parking in a very crowded parking lot. I highly recommend this place!“

“This is the only place you can eat top notch Vietnamwss food in a cabin atmosphere! So cute, cozy and comfortable.

We ordered:
Pho combo -generous on the good meat
Lemongrass Chicken and shrimp rice - wow the grilled shrimp. Will order again definitely.
Spring rolls - great! Has peanut sauce
Egg rolls - solid
Chicken salad. - huge portion. Only thing is chicken a little tougher than I like.

Overall excellent food. Didn't expect such high quality vietnamese food in Los altos. Will come back. Thank you.“

“Really good, authentic Korean food. The place is lovely and the service was terrific. The dishes aren’t cheap, but the portions are good, and the food is very high quality. The pan chan (side dishes) are delicious and generous. Really grateful to have this as a local Korean option!“

“OPH is one of my favorite breakfast chains, but this location isn't like the others. The usually light, fluffy pancakes were heavier and the bacon wasn't the thick-cut awesomeness found across other OPH locations. The building was also an anomaly among other OPH locations I've been to, lacking some polish and charm. Service was attentive, so points there.

As a breakfast place, not terrible. But as an OPH, I expected more consistency with the brand standard.“

“I've eaten at Barbayani's on the patio in this gorgeous weather a few times in the last month, and every time has been exceptional food, ambience, and service. I love this place and everything about it. The food is cooked perfectly and tastes amaziing. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Their service is impeccable. Can't recommend it highly enough. Try it. I hope you love it as much as I do.“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

Also, thank you to the delightful Police Officer Gentleman who stopped and took the time to speak with us for about 10 minutes while we were sitting outside of Posh Bagels in the patio set while the officer chased a naughty boy on an electric motorbike (wearing a helmet), which is not allowed there to be operated on the streets. He said there were about 5 police cars chasing this young man as he evaded them throughout downtown :/

Plus, we saw him give a fee tix to a navy blue Tesla, he said it's for parking backwards into the space when it's only forward parking in all of downtown. The sheepish Tesla driver guy came 15 minutes later in a hurry and drove away with the tix still on his windshield, lol. So park the RIGHT way in, head first.

The police officer said mom looked exactly like the lady who tended to the flowers outside of Hiroshi restaurant 2 stores away so now we're curious to see the flower lady for Hiroshi restaurant!“

“This is one of my favorite places for breakfast and brunch. I've been a regular for years, and the service and food have consistently been good. They recently added a few Mexican dishes to their menu, such as chilaquiles, which are a solid choice. Their benedicts, smoothies and bagels are also really good.

However, their pancakes are THE BEST! No matter what I order, I always have to try them. They are simply delicious with a very particular flavor.“

“Our family has been to Sumo many times because it's a family favorite. Our kids love the kids meals (rice, miso soup, and salmon or chicken teriyaki) and the sushi train, where we usually pick a few rolls and mochi for dessert. We love the variety of the menu and freshness of the food most of the time. Depending on the day, the texture of the rice can be improved and sometimes the offerings on the sushi train are limited, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. The restaurant is full of regulars that the staff remembers. A few favorites from the menu include the tempura ramen, all of the rolls, the agedashi tofu and the mochi ice cream. Highly recommended as a family friendly establishment that serves above average food, a quiet and fun ambiance, and great service.“

“Delightful first experience at Champagne One Main! Ambiance is of a high-quality French boutique hotel. GM Christian sets the welcoming tone. We were there for a birthday celebration brunch and our seating was a table for 4 beside the fireplace. A good variety of menu selections and attentive and personable staff. A special surprise celebratory dessert was an extra special touch. Will definitely come again. Highly recommend the bistro and this gem of a hotel.“

“Good food and nice portions, however I do think it is a little on the expensive side.

We tried the chicken schnitzel, the house potatoes, spaetzle and mushroom sauce. I really enjoyed the chicken and potatoes. The mushroom sauce was also very good.
I don't know why I keep ordering spaetzle, I think it is quite bland and oily/greasy. Not a fan
