Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. “Found this cool spot on a late winter morning on a weekend to LA. This is what you want a coffee/breakfast spot to feel like. It says take your time we’ll be here when you’re ready, no long cues or lines, a succinct and palate friendly menu. The welcoming large communal table near the entry way with a group of patrons enjoying both the company and their coffee was reassuring and created a wonderful vibe. I had the brisket breakfast tacos, perfect, tortillas were warm, the hash browns the perfect consistency, the eggs fluffy and a beautiful co-Star to the in-house 14 hour brisket, perfectly seasoned and unctuous, the hatch chili salsa a perfect acidity and compliment to the package. One of our party sampled the chilli and pronounced it good. The others had various burgers, all of which satisfied.“

“Great price point, generous portions, cool atmosphere… breakfast all day! What is there not to love? In the heart of USC, so a place that is friendly to the college students is important for the area. Parking sort of is a hit or miss, so if you’re able to walk, or park blocks away, that’s recommended. Enjoyed the French Toast combo and the Combo 1 w/ Pancakes! Iced coffee was SUBLIME. Cannot wait to come back.“

“First time coming here. Just wanted a cute vegan spot for coffee with some food. They had so many options it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering something extra to go. Everything was so good. I had the breakfast sandwich, dirty chai latte, jackfruit tacos and a tart with apples and almonds. It’s bittersweet that I live in South LA otherwise I’d be here every week. 😅“

“We were going to the Griffith park for the train ride but we decided to stop at a cafe shop first. My aunt order the hamburger with fries which she finished the whole thing. Me n my toddler we had some of her fries which it was pretty good.
I order the French toast with ham and eggs. The French toast was good but the flavor was alright to me. It was very soft. The scrambled eggs tasted better when I add some salt to it. The ham tastes good. I order the lemonade which is really good.“

“We wanted breakfast food and ordered the salmon bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and wait staff were very helpful and quick. The restaurant itself is a bit sparse but was comfortable to eat in.

“Went here for breakfast recently and the food was good and the service was prompt. But what really impressed me was I used the restroom and the soap dispenser was empty. I informed the manager and he not only refilled the soap dispenser but brought over to the table a big bottle of hand sanitizer for my hands which was truly impressive. “I Googled good affordable breakfast sandwich near me and found this great little Mom & Pop place. In a sea of overpriced & underwhelming food, it's nice to see good food for a good price. I got a simple, but yummy breakfast sandwich, and spent under $8.00. Busy & friendly place. It's located in the courtyard of an office building, where you enter from the alley. Will be back on my next airport run!“

“Whenever we are even close to Downtown LA and staying in a hotel for a night or more, we have IHop delivered. It is just the best.

We have eaten at this one more than once and it is clean, the service just great and the whole place is very comfortable. The servers are always nice.

This time we had it delivered and it was, as always so good. They pack it all in such a way there is no way it can get ruined or food mixed with other food. The delivery is fast and I have never had an issue, not once.

This time we had burgers, which were so good with bacon and cheese. My grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich with French fries and he loved it. I am the huge pancake lover in the family so I had their big breakfast that comes with the best, most fluffy and perfect pancakes along with hash browns and bacon, ham and sausage. It was all great and I saved the meat for our dogs who were waiting for us to get home (we were at a hotel nearby).

It is just the best and the prices are so fair. You will pay much more for some fancy place, but their pancakes won't be as good.

“We ordered the croissantwich w/ avocado and the breakfast burriot w/ chorizo, both were 10/10, the burrito was one of the best in LA imo. Food came out quick and Adam was super friendly, great lowkey spot. Dont forget to get the salsa verde“

“A casual, order-at-counter restaurant. I was in a group of five and we all liked our food. I had a chicken taco with tortilla chips, one person had a chicken wrap with a bowl of fruit, another person had a steak quesadilla, 4th person had fish taco with beans and rice, and fifth person had an eggs, bacon, hash browns and French toast breakfast. We were there for Saturday lunch and we parked in the building where the restaurant is located for a $6 flat rate.“

“Stopped by Egg Tuck while in LA and was seriously impressed. The food is so good - fresh, flavorful, and just the right balance of comfort and quality.
I had AvoEgg and it had everything I hoped for

“Had to go to the Italian consulate and when we came out, we were starving. Decided to try Blu Jam Cafe right down the block and we were so impressed! Absolutely excellent salads, we had the SW salad and the spinach salad. Both were done to perfection, every bite was delicious! Wish they were in South OC!“

“The cafeteria is a standard food hall with lots of seating and tables.

The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.

Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.

I will definitely come back to eat that salad & I’ll continue to try their other menu items.“

“If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“
