“The coffee is always fresh. They roast their own coffee beans. I like the fact they have light, medium and dark roast. Dark is my go to. It has less caffeine. They are also dairy free. I tried Oat milk in my coffee, now I buy Oatmilk for my coffee at home.“

“Can’t wait to come back for a positive review after my first be bright pour-over as I think I had the best bean in North America and haven’t had a good quality of Geisha for long time.
I dropped by for a cold brew and grabbed a bag of “unique & surprising” to go and the barista shared a small cup of its cold brew for me to taste. I am glad i have tried because it was really surprised by its freshness and flavor and almost wanted to have another large cup of coffee if it’s not my first drink at that day of arrival after a 5 hr flight without a full meal😿
I followed the brew guide on the website but have cut half of the size and still get the same profile as I have had for cold brew.
I will definitely come back for other coffee drinks next time🙌

There aren't dates on the bags, but the barista told me they get new batch in every Tuesday, so everything is fresh (although, would still prefer to have roast dates on the bags for confirmation). They also give you free coffee when you buy beans, and have free dog treats! Not really sit and chat type of cafe since it's tiny and the seats do not look super comfy. I do see regulars sitting outside, and dog friendly!“

Aqaurela's beans provide a different experience. We are by no means coffee experts, but my wife and I were surprised by the nuances in smell and taste when we tried their Deus Me Livre for our morning espresso. It's a lighter feel; almost refreshing. The morning cup feels a bit indulgent, yet not so rich as to make your mouth feel overwhelmed. We could see this pairing very well as an after-dinner treat with any manner of desserts. The best part is that this is simply a fantastic company to work with. Quick, fast delivery. Prompt follow-up to make sure we were completely satisfied. And all questions answered - when we noted that we typically prefer darker roasts, one of the owners explained that their goal was to make a medium-roast whose flavors would still hold up to a coordination with cream and sugar. It's a throwback to days where customer service and the personal touch were still important. I used to live in Brentwood and would come in often for coffee. The barista’s got to know me and my dogs, so it really felt like a neighborhood cafe, but with premium coffee offerings.

It’s nice to go back and see that quality hasn’t changed.

I will say pastries and to go items sometimes aren’t the best, but they outsource for that so I don’t fault them much for lack of quality there.

The small shop and cards have saved me more than once, so I appreciate their addition to the space for a quick quality gift.

Highly recommend this over most any other coffee shop in this area. It’s often less crowded and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy your caffeine fix.“

“Phenomenal coffee, and pastries! The silver back mocha is really well done, the mocha used is smooth and creamy without being over powering. Tried the ginger turmeric latte, the balance of the two is excellent, and great for inflammation! The house coffee is silky smooth and full of flavor, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t typically like black coffee! The chocolate powdered sugar croissant was perfectly light on the palette and was a perfect little treat for a rainy day. Over all 10/10!“
