Went here Feb 2nd around 11:30am.
Got my usual mango green tea, I got it large, 30% sweet, with rainbow jelly. I will say it was a bit too sweet for me, I am going to try 0% sweet next time.

The worker was really nice and welcoming. The inside is clean and decorated with cool stencil art. The menu was clear to read and with a large variety of options. It is very easy to park here and get in and out.“

“Newly opened coffee/tea shop near West gate. Ordered Sweet Corn Latte for $7.5, which has been very popular in Los Angeles since last year. This is listed as one of the signature drinks they have. I ordered 0% sugar level with whole milk and the sweetness is perfect. Can’t imagine how sweet it will be if I order 100% sweet. It has a corn shaped ice cream on the top. And the drink itself is very good. I like it a lot.

It takes a while for them to make the drink so online order is recommended if you don’t want to wait in the cafe.

Parking is not too difficult even jn weekends.“

It's not just large, it's gigantic--they're generous with the boba too AND it's literally always a custom drink where you pick the flavors you want, all for a bit over $6??? The exterior of the store itself threw me off a bit, but the interior (and the menu board) are pretty cool.“

Nick was incredibly friendly and taught us about the ideal brewing times, tea quantities, and water ratios to make each drink. Got the mango pomelo sago and was a classic good sago. A bit milky. Also the box shape made it very hard to eat in the end cuz the straw couldn’t get to the ingredients on the other side.

“I absolutely love this place! The service is awesome and the drinks are so high quality. They offer so many options and customizable drinks as well. It's clean inside and smells very fresh and fragrant. The boba is the perfect texture, soft and chewy with a subtle flavor. The matcha and Thai drinks actually taste like matcha and Thai and in addition to that their brewed teas are very fresh. Overall a great place considering their prices are on par if not cheaper than other subpar boba spots.“

Teaspoon Campell (Made identical review for the one in Palo Alto but the customer service here was more friendly and a nicer atmosphere) offers a wide range of drinks with plenty of variety to choose from. While I didn’t try anything beyond the drinks, I’d definitely come back. It’s a small spot, but the diverse menu makes it worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy something tasty.“

“Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out.

As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service.

“I ordered exactly what the most recent reviewer ordered. The signature Alpine green tea with "jelly cake" which is called feng guo in the store. I like it a lot. The tea itself is very sweet, the jelly is almost tasteless, a bit fruity sweet, but very big, chewy, and slippery. The contrast between the two is fun. By the time I finished paying the drink was ready which I don't think ever happened to me in a boba place.“

“We tried this place out because of a YouTuber we enjoy. 😉 We both drink black coffee on a regular basis, we are not huge fans of sweetened drinks but we wanted to give this spot a try. We were already in San Jose. San Pedro square is so neat! We didn’t have a wait, our drinks came out fast. And omg were they tasty!! The coffee (The Cloud) was so strong and sweet and even a little salty in the best way. The Feed Me Ube was incredible. So creamy and floral and not too sweet!! We inhaled these drinks, couldn’t get them down fast enough. I adored both of these, no notes. Pure perfection. 👏🏻“

However, I will say that the fried calamari is a disappointment. As the restaurant will close either at 11:00 pm or 12:00 midnight, it is a great place for a midnight snack.“

Their Black Milk Tea w/ boba was surprisingly solid for a place that doesn't appear to focus on milk tea boba. Their pandan mochi-waffle was not bad - had a hint of sweetness and pandan flavor. “This is a very small boba shop but it was a couch and a couple of chairs inside of needed. Staff is very nice and friendly. The drinks were good. Boba was sold out so we tried the pineapple strawberry tea what has actual pineapple in it. Pretty refreshing. And the mango drink was pretty good. Not too sweet.

There are some cute elements in the decor but it lacks a central theme, so it's not memorable. Wish they would lean more into the emoji theme that's in their name.

“My oreo matcha drink came with a LOT of ice (there was no option to adjust ice or sugar level), so the drink was heavily watered down and every sip was crunching ice more chunky than a slushie. Otherwise the drink was decent. Decor and drink selection more than makes up for the drink quality, which is not bad but doesn’t stand out.

Seating - not much seating, no tables, only 1 counter area against the window. Probably has 6 stools total against the counter.“

“So many tea shops but none with the taste of OMG Tea. They live up to the name and I drive out of the way to take some. Thick, colorful, full, natural taste and reasonable prices! I try other places but those taste artificial (maybe something powdered and cheap from online) watered down and used weird milk (probably powdered too lol) . So why waste money trying too many places. (I did try to find places closer but to no avail.) So I just go to where they do it right. For me, will get a very good balance of rich flavor and sweetness by 80% sweet. 🙌“
