“This place always has great food. It's hard to go wrong with any choice on the menu. Love the Kai Kua, but don't forget the sauces! Chili Lime and Cucumber. Both are great. $2 extra, but so worth it!
Parking: Somewhat limited parking. Hard to park when busy.“

“I ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup, and what struck me immediately was the balance. The broth was not overpowering and had just the right amount of spice. I also liked pickled chili and enhanced the experience. Had the Tapioca for dessert. It was soft and sweet.“

“A wonderful little Thai place, seating is a bit limited as it seems more of a takeout/delivery place but it's never too crowded that you can't sit down.
The food is incredible, and the service is on the same level. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near the area.“

“I experienced a lot of Thai food near here and I am a Thai food lover. So I can tell that portions are more sufficient than other restaurant, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is very good. If you are looking for the authentic Thai food, this is the right place“

“This is really a very small restaurant that specializes in Thai food. There were not many customers when we visited that night, so the environment was quite quiet. Since I was very hungry after work, I ordered more dishes. I personally liked their crab fried rice. It was not too salty or inexplicably sweet, but the Tom Yum Goong noodle soup was of a lower standard and didn't taste like Tom Yum soup at all. What’s a little surprising is that the quality of the desserts they serve is actually very good. Sticky Rice Mango is my favorite dessert. Although the mango is not sweet enough, I am still willing to give it high marks. The fried banana with coconut ice cream just won my wife's appreciation.“

“Excellent food, great service! I have a severe gluten allergy and was able to choose from almost anything on the menu which is extremely rare!
Dietary restrictions: Almost everything gluten free. Lots of vegetarian options as well.

“My new favorite Thai food spot! I always order yellow curry so that’s what my review is based on. I am vegetarian so chose it with tofu. I had additional requests and they came through. I asked to make it mild and leave onions out and add vegetables too. Got everything I asked for about $15 out the door ! Sauce was thick and tasty, rice included. Atmosphere wasn’t the best but I had my food to go anyway. Waited about 15 minutes. Worth every minute and penny. We found parking in the back.
Vegetarian options: I had yellow curry
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian“

“Who would’ve thought that some of the best Thai food in the U.S. is hiding in Harbor City? I really wish I’d discovered Warin Thai Restaurant sooner—I'd be a regular by now! Instead, I kept going back to what I thought was the best Thai spot in L.A., all while unknowingly driving right past Warin Thai every time. Now that I’ve found it, I have to say, this place is a hidden gem.
To be honest, the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside. But that’s pretty much the case with most places around here. Warin Thai is located in an old, modest strip mall, but let’s be real—you’re not here for the ambiance. You’re here for the incredible food, and trust me, it’s well worth it.
The menu at Warin Thai isn’t as huge as some other Thai restaurants, but it doesn’t need to be. There’s more than enough amazing options, from soups (which you can get by the bowl or pot), to appetizers like crispy chicken wings, fresh Thai salads, stir-fries, noodles, curries, and even dessert like mango sticky rice. Prices are pretty reasonable, too—about $8-14 for soups, starters, salads, and desserts, and $13-19 for the mains. And believe me, every bite is fantastic.
Here’s what we had for dinner:
Pad Thai ($13.95) – Stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and a tasty sauce.
Pad See Ew ($13.95) – Stir-fried flat rice noodles with eggs and Chinese broccoli.
Garlic Salmon ($17.95) – Grilled salmon served with spinach and mashed potatoes, topped with garlic sauce.
Green Curry ($13.95) – Homemade green curry paste sautéed with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, and eggplant.
Panang Curry ($13.95) – Thai basil, bell peppers, and kaffir lime leaves in a rich Panang coconut curry.
Glass Noodle Salad ($13.95) – A refreshing mix of ground chicken, shrimp, tomatoes, onions, roasted peanuts, and cilantro, tossed in a spicy lime juice dressing.
Thai Fried Rice ($13.95) – Classic fried rice with egg, onions, and tomatoes.
Every dish was phenomenal. As someone with a Thai background who’s been to Thailand countless times, I’ve got to say I was seriously impressed. Thai people usually aren’t easily wowed by Thai food in the U.S., but this place totally nailed it.
It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything was just that good, but if I had to choose one, the Glass Noodle Salad really stood out. It was honestly one of the best salads I’ve ever had—juicy, sweet, spicy, and packed with flavor. It’s a must-order for sure.
Overall, the food here is consistently amazing. If you’re craving Thai food, don’t hesitate—Warin Thai is where you want to go. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Was craving Thai food and was on our from LA to Orange County. Found this place to have excellent reviews on google. We ordered pad Thai , basil chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food tasted extra ordinary. Haven’t had such amazing food in a long time , that not only tasted exceptional but looked great as well. The service was awesome as well and so was the ambiance. Would definitely recommend.“

“My order of Pad Thai was ready faster than anticipated, and turned out to be delicious! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This place is a somewhat hidden gem and I will definitely be back. Be advised that when they indicate spiciness they mean it so, if you don't like things deliciously spicy, be sure to select mild or not spicy!
Kid-friendliness: The owner had a variety of games to keep the little ones occupied“

“Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We split two dishes. The flavor was solid on both, but definitely indulge in their hot sauces because it elevates everything from great to phenomenal. Would honestly eat here everyday if I lived nearby.“

“Delicious! Got the tom yum soup, pad thai, and soft shell crab curry. All soooooo good, much better than natalee thai . I wish i knew about this place earlier, then we wouldn’t need to drive all the way to thai town for great thai food!
Service was quick and friendly, no wait on a weekday evening! A little hidden behind the trees on the street but glad we saw it on google.
(We asked for everything to be spicy but it wasnt spicy so I think they toned it down for us?)
Vegetarian options: You can choose the proteins in most dishes, they include tofu or veggies as options!“

“—Pacific Rim Thai Kitchen—
#Pacific Rim Thai Kitchen
I was traveling by car in Los Angeles. I remember that day after I left Santa Monica Beach, I headed to Manhattan Beach after noon. I found Pacific Rim Thai Kitchen near my hotel because I had already eaten In-N in the morning. -Out of the burger, I want to eat it with white rice! Because Thai food has fried pork rice, which is very on point.

“We had a good experience here and will be back. Note that for a $1 upcharge they will cook your dish in avocado oil rather than vegetable oil, AKA soybean oil. It's hard to find Thai restaurants that don't cook with soybean oil. Since I have a reaction even to soybean oil, I truly appreciate their avocado oil option!
Dietary restrictions: I was able to eat safely here on my strict gluten, soy and dairy-free diet. They were cooperative and knowledgeable about their food.“

“Poom Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem! This charming, intimate restaurant offers a cozy dining experience with limited but comfortable seating. The warm ambiance creates the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal.
The food is exceptional! Their Pad Thai Rice stands out with its perfect balance of flavors and a brilliant touch of lime that elevates the dish. The Drunken Noodles with Shrimp offer just the right level of heat - flavorful and spicy without overwhelming the palate. The Pad See-Ew with Noodles is expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Oh! And we tried a coconut ice cream with peanut toppings that was lovely treat!
What truly sets this family-run establishment apart is the outstanding service. The father-son duo running the restaurant are incredibly gracious and attentive. So sweet.
Poom's friendly and professional demeanor and excellent attention to detail with orders make dining here a delightful experience. The genuine warmth and passion they put into both their food and service make this restaurant truly special. Highly recommended for authentic Thai cuisine!“

“I think this is one of the better Thai restaurants I have been to in the area in terms of quality of food and ambience. I ordered the Tofu Phad Thai with no egg and the Vegetable and Tofu Curry off the vegetarian menu. Both were very delicious. The restaurant space was very nice as well with a nice bar. I will be coming back again whenever I am in the mood for Thai.“

“I got a salad and the Pad Thai and could not have been more pleased with the freshness and flavor. The restaurant was small, but not too crowded or loud. My wife and I could have an easy conversation and both agreed this was great food! This is a late review, as it was over a year ago when we were here. If we are back in the area, this will be a place we WILL stop to eat.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options were easy to order.“

“The flavors here are so robust and I am very sensitive to spices, I always tell them please make my food mild- not spicy and they always do a great job keeping the food mild yet soooo flavorful!!!!! The service here is always great and fast, the one thing is it’s cold in there… great for people with hot flashes lol!!! I love them so I bring a warm jacket, but you all may be fine.
Please try the coconut soup with shrimp or chicken it’s so good! I crave it. Everything here is amazing though you can’t go wrong! Enjoy!!!“

“Beautiful place over looking the ocean. Amazing food and even better service. Ordered vegan versions of Tom Yum, Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Pad thai. The taste of their delicious panang curry still lingers in my mouth. The portions are decent. the quality and the taste was top notch. The restaurant offers an amazing view of the ocean, great for any time of the day, but having dinner watching the sunset, having good food and a great company is just chef’s kiss. Definitely one of my favourite thai restaurants. Worth the visit.“

“We've been here a few times food delicious, clean and usually friendly staff.
Walked in young brown skinned full figured woman said sit anywhere you like with a smile ok, approached a table for two it still had dishes so turned towards another table also not clean, we wanted to sit by the window.
She then said sit over there by a group of 8, no thank you could you clear off a table. She seemed annoyed with our request after she said sit anywhere and her smile faded fast.
There was another younger girl who approached us to take our orders. She was pleasant and provided us with a nice time.
We live just around the corner and want to support our Black establishments, however attitude is not ok.“

“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“
“Support local! We went in because they have plywood covering a huge window. It doesn't look recent though because they've stored stuff in that area
Staff was friendly and decor was great. Outdoor like so you had this strange indoor outdoor feeling going on. I've seen many paintings of the (last) king but never a full bust before. The miniature food carts in glass cases are adorable and detailed.
Menu was outdated, the online one seems more accurate. Food was good if a bit sweet, which made it very nostalgic of south bay Thai food from a couple decades ago. Combos are nice to try a few things. The red curry was spicy (like not for farang spicy) which was great, they did not ask about heat level. Pad see ew was good with very light wok flavor. Mango sticky rice was pleasant. The Thai tea was huge
It's not the fancy, super authentic Michelin recommended Thai down the street. It's your local corner mom and pop shop. We'll be back to try the lunch specials“

“This is GREAT Thai food. LOVED the Tom Yum with shrimp and Pad Thai Chicken. Reasonable prices for this zip code! It’s an upscale dive in terms of ambience. Location wise it’s a hidden gem, hiding in plain sight right near Highland and Rosecrans. Very limited seating (about 6 tables) and I think their main focus is on take out, vs in house dining which is ironic as there is a parking lot literally across the street!
