“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!“

“Bun & Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant on Montana Ave in Santa Monica that serves the best Banh Mi in LA. Pop in through the window for a quick Vietnamese coffee, also the best in LA, or sit down at the counter for the full experience. Bun & mi serves delicious food in big portions that come at a solid price — this place is a must try in Los Angeles. Shoutout to the whole staff who are super welcoming to all guests.

“The food was excellent and quite fresh. Some of the decor was nice but I didn't care for the bright neon lights and the repetitious techno music. It took me back to the 90's club scene. If they make slight modifications to make the style and make it a bit more up to date, it will be an excellent place. Also, there was one server on the floor the entire time which made the service slow and the restaurant a bit sad. Some of the folks in the kitchen, the owner, etc.. could be at the bar or working on the floor to make the space look a bit more lively.“

“One of my favorite restaurants for relaxed atmosphere Thai fusion. This is a very chill hole-in-the-wall style restaurant with great lunch deals and large portions. Orange chicken is soooo good. Good seating inside and a nice small patio outback. Great staff.“

“We were just passing through Los Angeles and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Wallflower on a whim. We had no reservation, but were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table beneath the disco ball, which made the evening feel even more special.
Every dish was delicious. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience made it well worth it.
Thank you for turning a spontaneous stop into one of our favorite memories from LA. We’ll definitely be back.“

“We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. Thank you, Yamashiro, for making our evening extra special for everyone in our party!“

“Food was fresh and delicious! It was very filling and not heavy. I appreciate the portions and presentation. The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“Come for brunch, dinner, or a delicious lunch. This place has it all. Super friendly staff, amazing food, magical vibes, and the best espresso martini in LA. Brian and Anna are both two of the best servers you could ask for with friendly energy, knowledgeable of their menu, and personalities that make you happy to hang out. Truly an amazing place to go, but I do recommend the tapas menu! Get 2-3 shareables for you and a friend and you'll love it!! The main dishes are fine, but the tapas are really where they shine. Hard to believe this hidden gem is in a random hotel, but you won't regret it!“

“Better ask "Why is your food So Great?" A huge fan since 1987 on Sunset. I wish you were closer...to Palm Springs... when in LA I have to stop and Eat at my favorite place, ever. “Me and my boyfriend had hookah and drinks here after dinner at yamshiro (upstairs) our server recommended this lounge so we checked it out after dinner. You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!“

“Such an incredible experience! We started with the Spicy Wings, and wow… sweet, savory, crispy, with just the perfect touch of spice. The Chicken Curry Noodles (with the flying noodles 🤩) completely amazed us! The flavor was so well balanced, rich but not spicy, with a delicious tangy finish that made every bite better than the last.
The Lemongrass Pho was pure magic—beautifully aromatic, light, comforting, and packed with flavor. And to finish, the Mango Sticky Rice was simply a work of art and absolutely delicious.
A huge thank you to Ball! His recommendations were 100/10, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end. Super recommended—we’ll definitely be back! 😊“

“Kind lady who I believe is the owner is very nice. I’ve head the pleasure it talking to her various times over the years that the restaurant has been here for and have enjoyed hearing her talk about how much she enjoys her home country. She has introduced me and the neighborhood to amazing food. I love their combos as you get to try the soups and all the different types of meat. Definitely recommend their chicken sate with the peanut sauce and the rice cakes.“

“The veggie eggrolls are pretty good. I wish this place had been able to also longer, but tomorrow it becomes non-kosher as the owner has sold it. Now there is no kosher Japanese Ramen, no Bulgogi, and only Shanghai Diamon (terrible), and Kolab Farangi (merely adequate) for kosher Chinese fare and nowhere for kosher Korean food at all.“

“Beautifully designed space and fresh healthy ingredients! As a vegan I appreciate the yummy, healthy (not fried) tofu and all the veggie options! Easy pickup near my gym so will be back for sure on days when I’m too time crunched to cook! Ordered for pick up, it was ready very fast, but stayed to eat at the lovely tables by the windows. You could also sit outside on the nice street tables.“

“We came here for lunch. We had cha gio, pho ga and com tam dac biet.
We were welcomed with a smile and I think the proprietoress took our order. She was so nice. Our food came out quickly.
During our meal we saw her talk to all the customers sitting. And all the customers who came in for pick up. It seems this is a favorite neighborhood spot. Everyone loved her and she in turn loved them back. It made the atmosphere so cheerful.
She talked to us and she smiled and laughed. I would come back just to speak to her and eat cheap, great food.

“I like to support local businesses, especially when they are owned by nice people. Bento woman is just that. The woman that took our order was very nice.
I ordered the Japanese noodle plate they sell. I forget what it’s called lol. I had them add chicken to it. They give you a decent amount of chicken. The noodles look like spaghetti noodles. They put too many onions and bell peppers into the noodles. My only gripe. I tried their chicken teriyaki too. It’s good. My dish was under $15 and it’s a good portion of food.
In a few days it will be a new year. We were given little packets filled with goodies. There was a Happy New Year message on it. I thought this was really nice of them.
They have boba drinks and things like croissants, but I just ordered a bottle of water.
They have no dining room, just some chairs so you can sit while you wait for your order. Because of this they have no atmosphere.
They have a mid sized parking lot.“

“I went around 7:45pm today a girl was a cashier she stopped what she was doing to help me to be honest i have never seen this before and she was excellent im very impressed she went over my order and helped me with my points very polite..after i was waiting for a few minutes she continued on what she was doing and when my order came out she got it done quickly im very impressed im definitely coming back.“

“We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.“

“First time at PHO MDR and we absolutely loved it. The vibe is giving, “just stepped out of a NY apartment and into an intimate, family owned, Asian-Infused restaurant”. We had the Pho and Pad-See Ew with rice. The ambiance, the service, the playlist, the food, and Lisa all made for the perfect dining experience. Will definitely be back!“
