“The tables are very close together, and it doesn't feel too intimate, yet there's an opportunity to create your own private little bubble around very delicious food. The brunch prefix menu is a great bargain, and all of the dishes are prepared beautifully. My only suggestion would be that the waitstaff/ team puts numbers on their order for the diners so that the food isn't auctioned off when it's brought to the table by runners“
“2nd time here and it’s off the charts!Love the Asian fusion food - don’t miss these two items, green papaya salad and miso pork jowl! Everything is delicious - literally. The atmosphere is incredible, fun colors, low lighting and jungle animals lurking. Fun and funky spot with sophisticated flavors make Piccalilli a great place to check out!“
“Food: Ordered the pork belly banh mi (around $20) and it was SOOO good!! The meat is marinated so well and it practically melts in your mouth. Stuffed with carrots, daikon, cilantro, and a ton of meat. The portions are super generous, I had to take half to-go. Food came out in less than 10 min Service: it seems to be family-operated and everyone was so sweet and nice. The guy (possibly the owner) checked in on us multiple times, refilled water, napkins, anything that we could possibly need Seating: about 6 stools, so on the smaller side. There is a takeout window tho for people who don't want to dine in. Parking: street parking, we found parking right in front of Face Gym and walked like 3 min“
“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“
“Everything at Chinois is perfect every time . It is timeless with Owners, Bella and all the staff. The old favorite dishes never disappoint and new flavors to explore. I have been a fan since the beginning and as locals we come regularly and for many occasions. Well Done ?“
“Unique menu with lots of variety, wonderful staff, and sweet atmosphere. You find a table and the order at the counter to have dishes brought to you. The staff is very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. Some items are marked as such and you can ask for modifications of most dishes when you order. Loved all the drink options, with the choice of adding boba and swapping for non-dairy milk too. I found free street parking on Lucerne. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. “Great ambiance at this restaurant! It’s a nice surprise to find this on the second floor of Madang Courtyard. The food, although good, is a little pricey for what you get. Even the lunch bento doesn’t feel like a great value. Wasn’t particularly impressed by the service. Overall an okay experience.“
“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“
“This place from the moment you walk in the front door is beyond amazing! They’ve done an amazing job of setting one heck of secluded Tulum vibe but while being in the thick of it all. No detail was left out from the lush landscaping and impeccable design throughout to the delicious food and cocktail menu topped off with incredible service. We had the Crispy Rice with yellowtail and shishito peppers for starters both were some of the best we’ve had. We also had the sun fire roll and short ribs and all I can say is yum! You won’t be disappointed with any of the food here. The margaritas we had were “chefs kiss”! Highly recommend!!“
“Amazing delicious food and the best customer service!! The food has so much flavor and you can tell it's made fresh when you order it. I've gotten noodles and sandwiches here and everything is always so good. The drinks are delicious as well. The owner is hands down the best owner ever, such a genuine and kind soul. We will absolutely be back again and again!“
“A little gem! They have Korean and Japanese styled rice bowls here. Many great options with reasonable prices and serving sizes especially for the area. We got the tuna tataki bowl and chicken karaage bowl. The person handling orders was really great and said the tuna tataki was their favorite and even gave helpful directions on how to best enjoy the rice bowl with the sauce! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.“
“Wow! I can't even begin to describe how amazing that meal was! It was absolutely incredible! The flavors were out of this world! The tomato soup and steak sandwich together created a burst of flavors that I will never forget. Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life!“
“OMG, everything there - just perfect! There wasn't a single thing here that I didn't like. From the pizza, to two different pasta dishes, to all of the sushi, slider, and bang bang broccoli - it's mouthwatering! Loved the dragon roll, crispy rice, and basically anything with unagi is absolutely fantastic. Wasn't super thrilled with the orange wine (I think that's what it was?) but the house white was good! This place is a total vibe, for a sexy little vegan dinner date night! Service is incredible, everyone is nice and attentive, and quick with delivery and clearing out plates. Music selection was great. Overall, loved loved loved it! Recommend to everyone and a place I'll definitely be coming back to!“
“BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! They actually deserve 10 stars I'll definitely be back again ;)“
“Came here to try out their five course Valentine's Day dinner and it was AMAZING! The food is made with love. Every dish was neatly made like it was a work of art. The drinks were also out of this world. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. The service was probably one of the best experiences of my life because the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. I'd love to come back here next year and experience the food all over again!“
“Super sweet owners and incredibly fresh sashimi. I got the 19 piece platter and was very happy with my meal. This place is a gem. When I went in, I noticed that the owners greeted everyone extremely warmly and had a bunch of regulars coming back. The auntie working the front of the house made me feel like I’m family eating at her house ^____^Definitely give this place a try!!!“
“On the edge of Beverly Hills, this is a delicious find. A storefront with four chairs inside and some tables outside, they do a bunch of take-out.The young woman at the counter was pleasant and helpful.I chose the bulgogi tacos which were delicious. The beef was seasoned and fresh, melt in your mouth paired with a spicy dip and lime wedges. I have to be careful with hot peppers (allergies), but my wife said it was the kind of dip that you didn't get the heat at first, but even when, not too hot.My wife had the salmon bowl. A perfectly grilled piece of salmon paired with rice, avocado, along with pickled onions and cucumber. There was an accompanying small dish of a sweet liquid. Maybe a coconut milk base, it tamed any heat. A winner.“
“Chibiscus is one of my favorite ramen joints in all of LA because the quality and price can't be beat. Their Tonkotsu is so full of flavor! When ordering takeout, the broth comes separate from the bowl ingredients so you can pour over when you're ready. Even to-go it's some of the best flavor you can find with ramen. Ingredients taste fresh and filling always. Service is pretty on the ball considering ramen can take a bit to prepare. You could sub proteins and ingredients to tailor to your dietary needs which was nice! The inside is relatively small and it's in an unexpected random strip mall, but don't sleep on this one!“
“Very nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining.I had their ahi crudo, which was not crudo but rather more like an ahi tatare. Was good but didn’t love it.Had their coconut milk curry cod which was good, but might not race to order it again.Service was pleasant.“
“Merois was by far one of my favorite dining experiences in Los Angeles. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous, they've managed to develop such an intimate feeling in the dining area, with incredible views of the city. Merois has the loveliest people working here, which made the experience so memorable. I'm not rich, I'm not famous, I'm just a social worker, but I work hard to treat myself and my family to a nice meal every one in a while. Oftentimes, you feel completely invisible if you're not "important" when it comes to higher end dining in LA. I've never felt such warmth, and felt so welcomed at a restaurant. Every staff member was kind, sweet, acknowledged us, and made time to chat with us. For that experience alone, I'd come back many times over. Wolfgang Puck happened to be in town as well, and we saw him floating around to tables, speaking with friends. The food was lovely - it is Asian-inspired, but for a minimalist palate. Even though I am Asian myself, I have lots of digestive issues and can't eat super rich foods - had no troubles at all with eating here. The fish, chicken, and dumplings were all delicious, and the Halo Halo was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time! I plan on heading back soon for that alone, and to try out some of the other inspired desserts. We loved coming to Merois. Thank you for such a lovely night!“
“Yummy! Had the fried chicken and waffles and the French toast. Get peace for brunch. Staff was super helpful. Food was not only vusually appealing, but also extremely tasty. Not sure what was happier. My eyes or my stomach. Great drinks too.“
“Marugame Udon has always been the go-to for anyone near Sawtelle especially UCLA students. I mean this place is fantastic: the food is exceptional, basically no wait time, the food is cheap, and the service is amazing. This is definitely a top 5 of all time for me and would HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit when in the area. The line usually gets very long on Saturday and Friday nights but it moves fairly quickly.“
“We were a party of three. Place was not too busy. Our food came out great. Here is what I got. Classic pho soup and an order of wings. The wings did not disappoint. It would have been nice to have been checked on more throughout our meal. We had to flag down our server. Would definitely come back in the future.Parking: I found a valet attendant at the back of the building. He said he does not make an hourly wage, just off of tips. I gave that man $10.Kid-friendliness: I saw a family in here so there was that.“
“Got take out from Palmsugar, just two dishes since it was the first time trying it - got chicken pad thai and vegan spicy basil fried rice. Both dishes were amazing, the basil fried rice was honestly 10/10 - had spice, excellent flavor, well cooked. The Pad Thai was also very good.Definitely would recommend and will likely try more of their food.Vegetarian options: They seem to be able to make most options vegetarian/vegan - the basil fried rice has the option for tofu, no fish sauce, no egg and at the bottom, an additional option to make it vegan - perhaps to ensure it would be. Flavor was still phenomenal, thoroughly enjoyed it.“
“Spectacular vibes! Came here with a somewhat large party to watch the UFC fight and celebrate a friend's birthday. They were so accommodating. Even the patrons and customers that frequent this place are great. Everyone is super chill and friendly. The food was great too. 10/10!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“Got a Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken, Original (White) with Potato & sugar, plus a Churro Donut & a soda. Let me start with the donut because it was really good. It was chewy inside and not overly sweet like most donuts, the fine grain sugar on top was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was really good too. Very interesting mix of flavors, I normally don't like sugar on meat but they balance it out pretty well to where it's just a little hint of it. Everything was cooked really well nice and hot, savory with a hint of sweet Small place located in the 2 floor plaza, with extra parking downstairs. Service was ok, it was quiet when i went. It's pretty affordable for the portions. Located in a 2 floor plaza with underground parking“
“I loved it. The dessert sesame paste filled buns are amazzzzing.I would only suggest they ask you first if you want ice in your drink, because its brought with ice by default (like anywhere else here ?) and it would be nice to remind you that they could make it withouht it.“
“This was my first time back in several years and my boyfriend’s first time as well!! Immediately we were greeted, sat promptly and had an excellent server names Asia. She was super sweet, knowledgeable and just over all the nicest server ever! Definitely will be coming back. Good job guys!“
“The food, vibe, and service at sushi is top notch! We come here often and always try something new. We are never disappointed! You can even get Kobe sliders, and there are plenty of non fish options. The staff is courteous and the owner Dov is the best. Best restaurant at Sunset Plaza!“
“Found this spot last week when a storm passed by Los Angeles. It was all seats taken but I was able to do a take a take out. Wasn't really expecting something just something to eat when we got home. It was good. Unique flavor. I tried the miso and soy ramen.Today I brought the whole family we had a lot to eat I wanted to try the menu. We will be taking out some food for tommorow but I'm happy with the food.“
“I ordered the Adobo Wings with Garlic Rice, and a side of Lumpia. The chicken wings were really good. They're flavorful, and cooked really well. I would prefer them a bit more crisp, but since the world is closed, delivery it is! The Garlic Rice is good as well. Nothing amazing about it, but it is very good. Which brings me to my issue. Now, I had to take a star off for this because, no. The lumpia is really good. My only problem is that there are peas in the lumpia. One question: Why?“
“We've been lucky enough to dine at providence, vespertine and meteora and they're really the best comparison for the food and service. The evening was impeccable. Mysteriously, the place was almost empty on a Tuesday—for foodies who want a quietly luxurious dinner and some of the best cocktails around in a beautiful space, snag a Tuesday spot and treat yourself before this place catches on. Sorry if I sound exaggerated; still on a bit of a high from a wonderful evening.“
“This is my new go-to spot when flying in and out of LAX airport. The poke was high-quality and fresh with premium fish cuts. What really stood out was the customer service/the owners - they were warm, kind, and took the time to share with us about their food. You could tell that they are passionate about their business and customer care. There were long-time regulars there, and they just gained a new one ?.“
“Trusty spot for drinks! Not as popular so there aren't long wait times. Love coming here for their complimentary chips and salsa! They have good bites as well. Love that they have hot cheeto fries. Cheese corn was exceptional as always.Boolieya fries: $17.99Cheese corn: $15.99Soju: $15.99“
“Flavor is good, they use a lot of garlic. Amount was enough but not for big appetites. Price is in average of Panda Express.Food was barely warm , and when is raining you just want your food hot. Service was good, they do not ask for tip, that is voluntary. Dining room is ok, chairs are for fast people, do not try to stay more than 15 min or pay your rent. I’ll be back but I’ll ask the waitress to please tell people staff be sure my delicious food is hot and healthy. I just realized, that must be keeping over 135 f degrees to be healthy, right?Anyway I’ll be back because I love garlic as a seasoning. Thank you“
“Kogi exceeds all expectations and encompasses the perfect, authentic taste of what LA food is. Their take on Korean inspired fusion dishes are top notch and there really isn't a wrong choice. The menu and options are straightforward while offering a slight upcharge for extra meat. Their prices can't be beat for the quantity and quality of food they provide. It can be challenging finding a parking spot during busy hours, but it's worth the wait and parking hassle.“
“Had a fun time dining at this beautifully decorated Garden Cafe and Bar in Ktown. I totally love the aesthetics here, and the lovely presentation of their food and drinks. I really enjoyed the flavors of their Kimchi Pasta and Croffle that's topped with fresh fruits! Really like their selection of dishes, from their delectable desserts to their colorful drinks! Perfect spot to visit during brunch and happy hour!“
“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“
“My friend who used to live in West Hollywood many moons ago was visiting for the weekend and suggested Galanga Thai Fusion, one of his favorite spots from back in the day. Um…. Yum! We popped in for lunch on a Friday, so we took advantage of the lunch special prices. $10 for a starter salad (delicious light and tangy dressing!) and an entree. He chose his favorite standby - green curry chicken - and I selected the spicy tofu mix. We also shared an order of the spring rolls, which were light and tasted super fresh. I’m thankful that the friendly server pointed me in the direction of the spicy tofu mix because it featured three different preparations of tofu in a zesty basil-influenced sauce. I’m excited I get to enjoy the leftovers for dinner tonight! If I’m ever back in WeHo, I know where I’ll head for lunch: back to Galanga!“
“Incredible food and experience at this restaurant last night! We couldn’t believe how good the food was, and how much we got for what we paid. Service was incredible from the kind man at the register. Couldn’t recommend this place more!“
“Today was my birthday ?. I wanted nice ambiance, good food and excellent service. Crustaceans is the place we started with champagne, crab ? cakes and delicious delicate wontons, truffle Caesar, accompanied by lemon drop martini and for main course garlic noodles & Dungeness Crab. Absolutely delicious ?“
“Hi guys I am back with a wonderful restaurant I was in the mood for asian cuisine so I made reservations at Tao and let me tell you the receptionist was pleasant. The host was amazing. The waiters and waitresses look like they should be in a movie. The atmosphere and ambience is to die for food drinks and Desert was wonderful, I have nothing but praises for this place. This is in my for sure one of my Top 10 best restaurants in Los Angeles.“
“I love this restaurant and the people who work there. They are very friendly and always helpful. I love their noodles and soups. Especially in winter you should try their soups.Restaurant is very big. And you can find a great table front of the window. There is a public parking area very close the building.“
“Trendy Indian spot in Culver. Came here with a friend for her birthday and we went to town on ordering different bites. Indoor and heated outdoor seating available. We ordered the samosas (2 very large ones come in an order), lamb truffle seekh kebab, butter chicken, saffron rice (rice isn’t included in the dishes), garlic naan, and eggplant masala. We had leftovers for the following day which kept well. The lamb truffle had an interesting flavor but was a bit dry. The garlic naan comes in 2 pieces cut in half, and went well with the butter chicken. I liked the green sauce that came on the side of the samosas a lot. The eggplant masala had some surprising heat that crept up on us and is a good vegetarian option. This place is pricier than your typical mom and pop Indian spot but has a cooler vibe. Overall, a solid choice if you’re craving Indian food but want a hipper ambiance.“
“Seated quickly, efficient staffThe food quality is about the same as any regular Chinese food takeout spot. Both the orange chicken and the sesame noodle entrees were good. The short rib was a bit tough (could go for a low and slow treatment to get it tender and juicier)But the vibe is nice, low lit, neon, music playing in the background with true dj, so it’s really fun for date nightHighly recommend getting drunk off the hot sake.“
“Very unfortunate rating I have to give, because I actually enjoyed the pho. I originally ordered the oxtail pho, but after like 10 minutes found out they were sold out.The broth was nicely seasoned, not as clean/clear as I’d like though, the rib eye was okay, but there were not enough noodles. Anyway, I ordered shrimp egg rolls as well. I was almost done with my pho before they came out. Yet and still? They came out FROZEN! Not cold, or old, FROZEN!“
“quiet peaceful place The workers are also very friendly and take their work seriously.Parking: There are paid hourly training sessions and a waiting area for passengers in total it will be difficult to park there if you want the car to be right next to that very restaurant“
“I picked up the salmon salad for lunch and let me tell you it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. This will be my new regular lunch spot. Lettuce fresh and crisp. Dressing tasted homemmade and that salmon marinated and cooked to perfection.“
“Overall it’s good and average pho ? for neighborhood restaurant. Meat was surprisingly better tasting than from the looks. broth was good and average. Noodles were the weakest and just basic. The service was friendly and great. Price is high but for local area pricing it is fair or slighter cheaper than average in the area.“
