“We love this place.

One of the things that stand out this time (apart from the food of course) we went was a very cool playlist that was playing on the restaurant. My gf was kind of dancing to the music.

I ordered the pho with rare meat, I took a picture of it so that you can check it out for yourself. You pretty much throw the meat inside the hot pho and it will cook right there. Very good plate if you ask me.

My gf ordered the Pad Thai, which she is really a fan of it. She is always looking for Pad Thais all around LA, but she said this one in particular was very tasty. She recommends it to ALL.

Very clean place, parking could be a little tricky because is on Washington Blvd so it could get a little difficult to find a place to park, but not impossible.

I recommend this place to everyone!

“Sushi Palace is one of those places that quietly overdelivers.

From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone. The neon lighting, the modern decor, and the overall vibe make it feel like an ideal date night spot without trying too hard. It’s stylish but still comfortable, which is harder to pull off than people think.

Now to the food.

The quality of the fish is immediately noticeable. The sashimi is clean, properly cut, and incredibly fresh. You can see it in the color and texture before you even taste it. The salmon had that rich, buttery finish you look for, and the tuna was vibrant and smooth with no metallic aftertaste. This is fish that’s clearly handled with care.

The sushi rice was seasoned well and balanced, not overly sweet or vinegary. That detail alone separates good sushi from average sushi. Presentation across the board was thoughtful without being overcomplicated. It looks beautiful, but more importantly, it tastes right.

Another thing worth mentioning is value. For this level of quality, the pricing is more than fair compared to other restaurants serving comparable sushi and sashimi. You’re not paying inflated “scene” prices here.

If you’re looking for a strong date night sushi spot with high-quality fish and a cool atmosphere, Sushi Palace deserves to be on your list. This is a place that focuses on freshness, execution, and experience.

“Arrived near closing time but decided to try it. There was metered street parking a short distance from the place. Located in Santa Monica (Montana Ave.) it was small but cozy. The owner was welcoming as I entered. I ordered the shrimp & pork spring rolls and the Pho Ga (shredded chicken). Definitely a bit too much food but I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely stop by again to try their Banh Mi or Bowls.“

However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “Eating at Jade Beverly Hills was a really nice experience. The staff was quick to get us seated, however it was a Wednesday evening so there were a handful of open tables. Food was amazing including the A5 Wagyu Beef Tartare and hand rolls! We also splurged and got the dessert even though we were pretty full with dinner. “We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.“

“I absolutely love this place. Marugame Udon is delicious, fresh and affordable. The only thing I'd change is that it isnt comfy but guess what. Me who rarely goes tp a place with not the best seating and ambience goes with excitement. The staff is wonderful and if you go after 3 there is almost no kne there and it is my favorite time to go between the usual mealtime. No wait and ample seating. Parking and even so.e outdoor seating and a cute area for kids to play. As for the food, I always get the beef and at least one tempura sweet potato. If im splurging I load up on the shrimp tempura some gyoza and other assorted goodies. Oh and add the hard boiled egg to your Udon. I dump the leftover tempura dipping save into my bowl. I always get the large and I always have enough for the next day lunch.
If you are visiting friends or family at Little company hospital it is an easy walk across the street and you do t have to lose your parking spot.
