“Heck ya!! What a fabulous dining experience! It’s a cozy restaurant in downtown Martinez. Definitely recommend making reservation as this place can be super packed esp. during live music hours. Everything we ordered, from their daily specials, to locally sourced ingredients give you a farm to table kind of dining venture. The house cocktails are refreshing-ly good. If you have a sweet tooth, their in-house desserts to finish off your meal-perfect amount of sweetness! Can’t wait to be back for more!“

“I really enjoy the variety of options, especially the new Oatly vanilla soft serve! Other fun options we've enjoyed include warm cookies with soft serve and red bull soft serve slushies. The owners are very nice and attentive too. I highly recommend supporting this small business.“

“The food here is always on point and the service is top class, we dine here at least once a month and we have always had great service and food the only issue I have is I feel like the restrooms are often neglected with so much traffic I feel like someone should be cleaning those at least every 30 minute to an hour that is actually my only issue with this place. i do realize its only two small restrooms and the place is always packed but even when its nto packed the restrooms still need some attention.“

“First time in the area and hadn’t eaten lunch yet. The spicy chicken sandwich is beyond delicious. I asked for the chilis on the side. Everything taste incredible. The ingredients tastes as fresh as that home cooked meal that only your family knew how to make, but you could never replicate.“

“Just picked up my chicken soup this afternoon,my granddaughter wanted to go to the park,I ordered it over the phone and they said 10 minutes but we stayed at the park for. 45 minutes the soup and croissant was still hot not warm but hot my granddaughter loved the bread man lol“

“We were in the Walnut Creek and were craving piroshkis. We knew about Babushka Market & Deli and so we went there and ordered 6 piroshkis. The lady named Lyubov behind the counter is one of the nicest person we have ever met. She was very helpful and explained how they have something like 16 or 17 different kinds/varieties of piroshkis. We ordered 3 beef and 3 beef with jalapeno and they warmed them up for us on the spot. These are baked piroshkis, not deep friend, so they were not oily like the other kind. They were filled with a huge portion of meat with perfect seasoning with a huge beef flavor. They are literally the perfect sandwich and for a very reasonable price. We were very impressed by the quality of them and even one is enough to fully satisfy your hunger. As we were sitting at the table inside eating them, gentleman at the table next to us starting talking to us about the piroshkis. It turned out he was the owner of the Market and his name was Leo and he started it 29 years ago and runs it with his family. He told us that they buy their meat fresh and grind it on site and use all fresh and good ingredients, which explains why the piroshkis are so fantastic. We talked with Leo for a long time about the olden days, living in other countries, and our common experiences and ancestries…it was a wonderful conversation which was a perfect complement to the best piroshkis in the Bay Area in our opinion. If you haven’t tried this place we urge you to stop buy and buy one, which I think for sure after you eat it, you’ll want to buy a few more to take home. 5 Stars to this place…the best!“

“Delicious pizza. Never soggy which happens often with veggie pizzas. Love the sauce and the crust is always crispy never doughy. Staff has always been happy and pleasant. Pinky’s is tops for pizza in Walnut Creek area!“

“I had Salmon over rice Togo. When I pick up my food, I opened it but I didn’t see any vegetables in that. I asked him and he said that I should order the meal if I would like to get small salad too. “This food spot is really good. Ordered on a whim while attending an event at Retro Junkie. We ordered it on DoorDash for a pickup. It was ready on time, very flavorful and so delicious. It was enough for two to share and for leftovers the next day.

We ordered the General Tso chicken and House special fried rice...I just wish they gave a bit more meat on the rice... it seemed like it was more rice than anything“

“We ordered a sandwich and chicken pancakes, which they kindly replaced with turkey upon our request. This came with a small portion of soup. We really liked that the portions overall were generous. Everything was delicious. The coffee was a bit bitter for me personally as I prefer a smoother taste, but the owners were very polite and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was tasty and authentic. I truly recommend visiting. I am not sure why the rating is so low, but I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“Just want to give a special shout out to the manager, Darron. I get a pizza there once a week, on VIP Mondays when you can get 15% off, and this guy sure treats me like a VIP! I switched from thin crust to deep dish after about a year, and he called to make sure that they got the order right, and called again to make sure they would get my pizza right when I gave some special instructions. I think he even called me once to make sure I didn't forget to order on the VIP Monday! And the pizza is of course delicious and a great deal, so how can you go wrong?!?“

When I'm back in the neighborhood, I try to stop by for a good meal. Even after 30 years my son gets over the moon excited when I bring him a cheese puff. Also dropped off their out of this world pie to a family member battling cancer recovery. Everyone gets excited about their baked goods; however their meals are dang good too. Friendly staff as well. For some joy, go there!“

I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green cabbage garnish.“

This is a Chinese restaurant with some popular Filipino dishes in the menu. It is located in a plaza with various establishments. Excellent customer service, very good food, priced reasonably. Very clean inside and the ambiance wih plenty of Chinese decors everywhere.

The chicken wings is so crunchy saucy and delicious. I will get that again on my next visit. The salt and pepper prawns are also very good, perfectly seasoned and fried. 10 minutes wait time for a to go order in a late night 1 hour before closing time.

This restaurant is good for dine in, alone or in groups. Togo and delivery is also fine. They accept cash and cards. This place is highly recommended!“

“The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. I have been purchasing deserts from them for over 35 years and spend a lot of money. So sad and no accountability and glad no one got sick. I will be letting the San Bernardino health dept know of this crooked establishment not following State and court health codes.“

“We have been going to Dianna's for years. We moved to the area back in 2014, and found out in 2017 that my husband was celiac.

Dianna makes all her cakes, cookies, breads and pastries with loving care, and makes many items gluten free, which is such a treat for my husband.

Her sandwiches and coffee are good too, and she usually has homemade GF bread in reserve to make a quick GF sandwich for those requiring it.

Like any "local store", product availability varies. Some days my husband can get GF Banana Bread or Carrot Cake. Other times, those aren't available but GF Zucchini Bread and Red velvet cake are. It's actually a nice surprise.

I suspect Dianna's was hit hard by Covid, and I know she's mostly a one-man show now, which must be a lot of work. But she does a good job of cranking out the goodies and serving them up well.

If you're in the area, especially if you are celiac, I highly recommend giving Dianna's a try for lunch or coffee/tea and baked goods!“

In the craziness of preparing for the party, I set the pickup time as the day and time of the party, when I meant to set it for the afternoon of the day before. I arrived at the store to pick up the order when I thought I had set the pickup time for, only to realize my mistake when they couldn't find the order. I was frantic, because my party was the next day, before they would open. The staff was pleasant and generous. They offered to quickly make my order, if I wouldn't mind waiting 15 minutes. I happily accepted, and they saved the day! The bundtinis got rave reviews at our party.“
