“Chef Marcus’ dishes are full of flavor & fresh ingredients that make for a spectacular culinary experience. 😋”
“Oak + Violet is one of the best restaurants I've dined at in years. The food is prepared with imagination and great care. They specialize in locally sourced food which adds so much flavor and freshness to their dishes. They offer a wide variety of wines, even if you order by the glass. The service was great too.”
“Amazing food, excellent place to attend an event and meet new people.”

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!”
“The last time that I ate dinner at The Flea Street Cafe was 40 some years ago shortly after it opened. It was an exciting new and different place to eat at the time. I remembered for years having had a great experience. Flea Street is still great. Every single dish that I shared with my dining companion was fantastic. Each unique with great flavor and something surprising. The wait staff was equally marvelous -- friendly, helpful and adding to a great experience. I won't wait 40 some years to go back.”
“I had dinner with my husband this evening. The food and service were excellent. Both of us agreed that this was one of the best Mediterranean food we had thus far. Everything from the hummus, pomegranate salad, chicken curry and the lamb kebab to the rice and vegetables were flavorful and so well seasoned. The lamb kebab was grilled to perfection and the portion size was great. Thank you for preparing such a great meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!!”

“Robin in Menlo Park has quickly become one of my absolute favorite sushi restaurants in the Bay Area.
I’ve been here at least ten times now, and each visit feels just as exciting as the first. The consistency, creativity, and attention to detail are what make this place stand out in the Bay Area dining scene.
One of the best things about Robin is the flexibility of the menu. You can choose à la carte if you have favorites in mind, or you can go for the omakase and let the chefs guide your evening. I’ve experienced both, and I can honestly say you can’t go wrong either way. The omakase is particularly special — every dish arrives beautifully plated, with flavors that are fresh, innovative, and balanced. The fish quality is always top-notch, from the buttery otoro to the delicate hamachi, and the chefs often surprise you with unique touches that make each course memorable.
The à la carte options are equally impressive, especially if you want to revisit your favorites. The nigiri and small plates showcase the freshness of the ingredients, and the variety keeps the dining experience exciting. Even the desserts are worth saving room for — light, creative, and the perfect way to finish the meal.
The atmosphere inside Robin is modern yet welcoming, with a stylish design that still feels comfortable. Service is another highlight: the staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely make you feel taken care of.
Robin has become one of my favorite restaurants in Silicon Valley, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, it always feels unforgettable.”

“When I pulled up to this location there were trucks galore parked all around the surrounding area. There was a line of blue collar workers about 15 deep. I order their pulled pork sandwich and it was great. Also, their potato salad was the very best I've had at a deli. What a gem of a location and my go to spot for lunch when I'm in the area.”

“Mardini's had a great selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers and falafel. I bought a chef salad and borrow the restroom. By the way the light switches are on the outside of the restroom. You Can Only Imagine and I had to find my way in the dark because I didn't know that.”

“Definitely a hidden gem! Got salmon nigiri and Curry Katsu. The salmon slice was thick, we were pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality. Katsu had a nice subtle crisp to it even covered in curry. Beef yaki udon was really really good, Highly recommend and worth it. We will be back :)”
“The food was absolutely delicious. My wife and I took our three month old baby there for breakfast one morning and everything was delicious! Especially the coffee! The place is very well designed with high-end tables and chairs and decorations. The overall feel of the building on the inside and out is well thought of plan and placed well
Our only complaint was our waitress. She seemed like she could give a rip about anything. When asking some simple questions about the items on the menu she practically rolled her eyes to go ask the chef some questions. When we were finished with our meal, she came back with the check and we asked her if we could have another coffee, and I swear that I was either pulling her teeth or torturing her by asking for another coffee. She kind of grunted and slowly walked back to get what we had asked for. Our whole overall experience would have been awesome if it was not for the service. I highly recommend finding new help.
Also, there were only six customers total in the entire place (including my wife, and I ) when we were there. She was not being overworked or overwhelmed…. she literally hated every moment of being there from what we could tell.”

“We came on Thanksgiving and it was a busy time for the staff. We opted for the steak frites and beef bourguignon which were delicious. Split the Tarte tatin for dessert; generous portion and it was also great. Very nice wine selection at reasonable prices. Loved the atmosphere and our meal and will definitely be back.”
“Lovely lounge for an evening drink with your coworkers or family. The atmosphere is pleasant with gorgeous views of the mountains. If seated indoors, the library environment is warm and soothing. The food is delicious either lovely choice of cocktails, wine and beers. This is most favored place for business hangouts and casual meetings.”
“Woodside Bakery prepared the most beautiful and delicious fruit pies for our August wedding. We are from out of town, and Jan and her team did a fantastic job organizing with us from afar. We are so grateful for their contribution to our special day! Highly recommend.”
“Food was superb. Would be nice if the wait staff would wait to take plates off and not keep asking if we are done eating. Dessert and appetizers were ok. Pasta was amazing.”

“My husband and I were just here for our 2 years anniversary. They take walk ins for bar seating and there are 4 bar seats available at a time.
Definitely lived up to the hype. Flavors are very delicate, not overpowering at all. If you are looking for something extremely flavorful then this may not be a good fit. However, if you prefer lighter and refreshing profile, Yeobo Darling is the place for you. The sea urchin appetizer and the scallion croissants are MUST HAVEs.
The attention to service here is outstanding. Masha was helping us throughout the night and was extremely sweet and attentive. We got to learn about her story and vice versa - lots of nice conversations. Overall, 100% would come back and hopefully to see Masha again! :)”
“Stopped by The Mandarin Chinese while hoping for some great Chinese food in town. The location was convenient, and the space itself is quite nice, with the added bonus of upstairs seating. Service was smooth; we came on a Friday evening, got seated right away, and dishes arrived in a steady flow.
Unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed. The sizzling rice soup was disappointing; it came out lukewarm and didn’t sizzle at all, with a watered-down broth. Definitely underwhelming.
That said, the rest of the meal was much better. We ordered Spicy Beef Tendon, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Garlic Snow Pea Leaves, Eggplant in Spicy Sauce, and Kung Pao Chicken. Every dish was flavorful, and the Szechuan-style seasoning really stood out. The beef tendon dish, in particular, looked and tasted great.
Overall, while not everything hit the mark (and prices felt a bit high), the main dishes were strong enough to make it a solid option for Szechuan cravings; just maybe skip the soup.”
“This place is a hidden gem! Almost every dish’s we ordered was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the beef tongue — it’s not even on the menu, but if you get the chance to try it, don’t miss out. It was tender with just the right amount of chewiness, and it paired perfectly with rice.
The staff here are excellent — very attentive and genuinely make sure you're well taken care of. Their service really adds to the overall dining experience.
The only downside is the parking. The lot is pretty small, so it can be a bit of a hassle during busy times. But honestly, the food and service more than make up for it. Highly recommend!”
“Consistently excellent pizza with great variety in the salad bar. Excellent for their weekday lunch specials. A little pricier than the average pizza chain but quality is far, far better and definitely worth it. Staff is also super friendly and I’ve always had great customer service at this location.
My go-to for takeout pizza in the area!”
“Dosa Point has recently renovated their space, its beautiful (check out the wall paper)! When you eat their food you can tell that they cook with very fragrant spices. Their dishes are always delicious, elegant and consistent. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, this one has the best flavor! Will go back again and again!”
“Two of us shared recommended tempura squash with a creamy spicy sauce, pot stickers with saffron, then a juicy simple burger and fries. It all was served timely and hot. I would have prefers some burger condiments such as pickles or lettuce, but I was pleased with the high quality meat, juicy and perfectly cooked medium.”
“We love coming here because of the lounge-style atmosphere, drinks, music, and friendly owner and staff. You often find a nice mix of people here. Now that they are open, we finally have a local late-night option.”

“My wife and I went there for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious. Good variety on their menu and the service was absolutely great. I had the crabcakes eggs Benedict and my wife had the banana macadamia nut coconut, pancakes, My wife and I will definitely be going here more often and I definitely recommend it to anyone.”
“The atmosphere is awesome, and the food is great! I love the car theme that is going on throughout the restaurant, and they have delicious burgers and good fish and chips. Their portions are always well sized, and it is almost always busy as it has become a staple within the area. I look forward to visiting again soon!”
“We were looking for a new place to try and Octopus had some great reviews/ pictures of their sushi rolls. After looking over the menu we decided to head on down. Friendly staff got us seated right away and we started with a round of appetizers. Gyoza, chicken karaage and a Toro Nigiri special started off the night and everything was delicious. Ordered 4 rolls and a bento box combo and everyone was extremely satisfied with the food. Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu”
“Great space with great beers. The friendly staff (Hi Matt!) go out of their way to make you feel welcome and get the beer that suits your taste. The empanada was also great. I'll be back!”
“Food was very authentic and yummy. The shammi Kabab was exceptional. The biryani was fresh tasting ( Sindhi biryani, not Hyderabad you see everywhere else). The korma was also authentic”
“My favorite place for matcha lattes now. The strawberry matcha latte doesn’t have as many strawberry bits as Izumi matcha’s, but the matcha latte tastes more like the ones we had in Japan.”

“Teleported. Now I’m in Mexico. She’s making a tortilla for me live. They are hot. They are fresh. That’s the kind of service that leapfrogs the tier and dollar sign that this place is. Ordered a carnitas burrito and a carnitas super plate. Both were amazing. Fed two adults and three kids. There is so much meat. I highly recommend this place as the best taco in the Menlo Park Palo Alto area.”
“I recently visited Counterpoint with friends for brunch and had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the **Garden Omelette** with fresh veggies and Monterey Jack cheese, the flavorful **Veggie Breakfast Burrito** with feta and pico de gallo, and a refreshing **Seasonal Yogurt Parfait**. The **Breakfast Sandwich** with ham, avocado, and aged cheddar on a toasted croissant was a highlight. The friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. We had a great experience and can’t wait to return!”
“Delicious food for this type of restaurant and lots of chicken, beef, pork, and vegetable options. There are also multiple noodle and rice options. There is a lot of turnover so the food is usually fresh and hot when I’ve been there. The staff is always friendly and some are multilingual. There are several tables so you can sit there and eat. The parking lot isn’t huge, but you can park across the street. Also, great value as well. The portions are so large we usually eat it as 2 meals, that is if we can stop ourselves. Haha”
“She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All her antojitos are delicious, fresh and never overpriced. Great value, taste and quality.”
“Had a great experience at Philz Coffee in Menlo Park. I ordered the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, a chicken and rice burrito, a Mint Mojito, and an Arabic coffee — and everything was honestly delicious. The breakfast sandwich was warm and satisfying, the burrito was surprisingly filling and well-seasoned, and both drinks were spot on. The Mint Mojito was refreshing as always, and the Arabic coffee had a bold, smooth flavor. On top of that, the workers were super friendly and welcoming — you can tell they really care about customer service. Definitely a place I’d come back to.”
“We came in for a late lunch and had a wonderful experience! We ordered a side garden salad, the beef meatballs, a veggie pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and quick! The meatballs were delicious. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back.”
“Mi fermo spesso da Cafe Borrone per un caffè e una brioche, ma non riesco a trovare il locale nell’app Coverflex: accettate i buoni pasto?”

“I have to say, they have one of the best Authentic Pupusas I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. I am very picky with my food and I got to say man, they make one of the best if not the best pupusas in the entire Bay Area. They also offer quite the variety of food! It’s like a mix of Salvadorian and Mexican cuisine. Not to mention that the owners and staff are always very clean and they are very professional! I will definitely be back here soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I had such a lovely experience here! I stopped by last week while doing laundry next door, honestly in a pretty bad mood. Kelly (I think she’s the owner?) greeted me with such kindness and even offered me a complimentary Oreo smoothie — it completely turned my day around!
When I came back this week, I was so surprised and touched that she still remembered me. The drinks are refreshing and delicious, but it’s the amazing customer service and genuine smile that really make this place special. Highly recommend!”
“Wildberry Yogurt in Sharon Heights is the best yogurt spot in the Bay Area! Always lots of flavors and lots of yummy toppings to choose from. The fruit is always quite fresh too. The store is very clean and the staff is very friendly and gracious, very rare these days!”
“I've bought pizza here twice, the first time it was perfect, my favorite in the area. Strong undercarriage, good quality cheese, crispy pepperoni. But yesterday it was overdone, burned in some places and the crust was tough and crumbled like a cracker upon biting. My impression is that Avanti can make great pizza, but it's inconsistent.”
“The SLAC burger I ate here last January tasted like it hinted at an unfortunate journey. Dry patty, soggy bun… … The hamburger, which seemed to symbolize an all-night stay at the beamline, left me with terrible memories.
However, when I visited SLAC again in August, I chose the SLAC burger again to satisfy my hunger and it tasted heavenly. A patty full of meat and a crispy bun with an appetizing buttery scent... … I don't know what changes have occurred so far, but it is safe to say that the person who led these changes has made a great contribution to the history of world science.
I can confidently say that the burger tasted better than any burger I've had in San Francisco.
Run to SLAC cafe right now.”
“I go here all the time- since I go to the middle school down the road it’s very convenient. I ALWAYS get this drink- Strawberry lemonade, normal sweetness, no/less ice, 2x lychee jelly, 1x mango jelly. It’s always so good every time! The tofu cubes are not good but I don’t like tofu in general so that’s just me. It doesn’t take too long- but really depends on how busy it is. The staff is nice but doesn’t talk much. The atmosphere is nice too! I love the vibes of this place. I don’t get tapioca boba but the lychee and mango jelly is so good, especially if you love jello or stuff like that. It’s chewy but not too chewy, and very sweet. I recommend if you like fruity/sweet drinks.”

“We did a takeout of noodles, mapo tofu, lamb skewers and veg skewers.
Everything was very flavorful. Lamb was outstanding.
Would love to try again.”
