“Meals for us are getting steadily better here. A more balanced menu than a year ago, with brighter/punchier/lighter/greener dishes and lots of variety in each meal course category. We brought our two young sons and saw many other families there at our very-early seating time, highlighting how flexible che fico has become in meeting the community need. Drinks down very quickly, which used to be an issue at this restaurant. Plates were delicious, came out quickly with minimal wait between courses.“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

“We came in for a late lunch and had a wonderful experience! We ordered a side garden salad, the beef meatballs, a veggie pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and quick! The meatballs were delicious. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back.“

“I've bought pizza here twice, the first time it was perfect, my favorite in the area. Strong undercarriage, good quality cheese, crispy pepperoni. But yesterday it was overdone, burned in some places and the crust was tough and crumbled like a cracker upon biting. My impression is that Avanti can make great pizza, but it's inconsistent.“

The pasta here is delicious and it's better than most restaurants. Here, you can create your own pasta dish and the friendly chefs behind the counter cooks it for you. You get to select the type of sauce, the type of veggies, and the type of protein.

Lately we've been ordering the pink sauce (from the secret menu) which is a mixture of the marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce. There's 2 types of marinara sauces: fresh herd (taste sweet like ripe tomatoes) and meaty (taste like Italian sausage). Either one is good.“

“Came in for the first time and ordered two sandwiches. One, the Pastrami, the other roast beef, both with cheddar and everything on it. The habanero sauce is fire. The ravioli plates. All looked amazing. I gotta go back for some of that action. This might be my new favorite spot.“

We had an unwanted guest at one point (a wasp) & the staff immediately took action to move us inside. Not pictured was a delicious peach torta, consumed within seconds. Always look at the dessert menu :)“

Service was great except they started asking if we wanted to take home leftovers while some of us were still eating. Just a pet peeve of mine. Wait until everyone is done before clearing plates or offering boxes. The food is always excellent and they always get the orders correct, even with modifications.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

“I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant! My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We split the bruchetta special, which featured burata, peaches and sliced almonds. It was amazing. For dinner I had the Cappellaci (housemade butternut squash tortellini), which was delicious. My friend had the Pennette Vodka, which she also enjoyed. The service was excellent: warm, friendly, and very professional. I plan to bring my husband here for date night sometime soon!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

Food is delicious (we ordered variety of roti kati rolls and daal), delivery was on time and Anamika was very responsive to all my questions and requests. “I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

We had the California Dreamin’ and My Cousin Vinnie on Dutch Crunch, toasted.

The sandwiches are awesome. I liked the shredded lettuce and a vinegar-forward mix that contrasted nicely with the meats.

The only thing that I would have liked a little different is to roll the turkey slices instead of just stacking them, that would improve the mouthfeel and texture.“
