“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

“We went to Che Fivo to celebrate our 51st anniversary. Right away we were seated at a corner table which was requested by me. Our server was efficient and friendly as were all thee service personnel. The margerita pizza had crispy crust, fresh tasting tomato sauce and excellent flavor. We also shared The orecchiette pasta with sausage and mushrooms— excellent, and the radiatori pasta with tomato cream and vodka, also excellent! The brocoletti were one of the most flavorful and the budino di cioccolato was divine!“

“I ate here twice in the last week. The pizzas are excellent. The Ceasars salad is surprisingly good. Although, last night I decided to just have the Ceasars for dinner so I added the chicken. What a disappointment. The chicken tasted store bought, not fresh. It was sliced about 1/8 inch thick, 4 inches long 1/2 inch wide. 4 pieces, maybe 5. The salad itself was still good. Skip the chicken and order garlic bread to fill up, it was very good.

The wine selection could/should be better. It's California after all.“

“I've bought pizza here twice, the first time it was perfect, my favorite in the area. Strong undercarriage, good quality cheese, crispy pepperoni. But yesterday it was overdone, burned in some places and the crust was tough and crumbled like a cracker upon biting. My impression is that Avanti can make great pizza, but it's inconsistent.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. The pasta here is delicious and it's better than most restaurants. Here, you can create your own pasta dish and the friendly chefs behind the counter cooks it for you. You get to select the type of sauce, the type of veggies, and the type of protein.

Lately we've been ordering the pink sauce (from the secret menu) which is a mixture of the marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce. There's 2 types of marinara sauces: fresh herd (taste sweet like ripe tomatoes) and meaty (taste like Italian sausage). Either one is good.“

We had an unwanted guest at one point (a wasp) & the staff immediately took action to move us inside. Not pictured was a delicious peach torta, consumed within seconds. “We dined at Pompeii on a First Friday in Los Altos. We were seated promptly despite it being quite busy. We were quickly served bread and water. Our server was courteous and efficient. to The clam chowder and all of the dishes were delicious. Calzone, spaghetti Bolognese, the fish special, and the pork chop were all pronounced fabulous by the diners! The calzone and the spaghetti were large portion, and we love leftovers. It was our first time at Pompeii, but we'll be back!“

“So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

“I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant! My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We split the bruchetta special, which featured burata, peaches and sliced almonds. It was amazing. For dinner I had the Cappellaci (housemade butternut squash tortellini), which was delicious. My friend had the Pennette Vodka, which she also enjoyed. The service was excellent: warm, friendly, and very professional. I plan to bring my husband here for date night sometime soon!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. “I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

“Saturdat morning my dad and I had breakfast here and the croissant sandwich were great! The quality of the food and the owner made such a nice impression that we went back for lunch the next day (Sunday). We both had one of their roast beef sandwiches and were very happy with them. Great quality ingredients and large portions. I haven't been in during the lunch rush but our breakfast and lunch sandwiches were done in less than 10 minutes! I wish I knew about it sooner and I'll definitely be back! I love supporting our local businesses!

They have indoor seating and a couple of tables out front. There is parking right in front and a few spots on the north side of the building.
