“Most Excellent! We went to the Legion of Honor museum, but because their Cafe was closed we had to look around the area - and we are so glad we did! This little place is wonderful! The food was amazing - perhaps the best falafel wrap ever! The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Whenever we get back to the museum or this neighborhood, we will be having lunch here!
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited to the falafel sandwich/wrap and falafel plate, but they are but excellent!“

“We ordered the fire fries and pani puri shots as appetizers and they were great. I’m personally not a big fan of pani puri but my wife loved them!
For our main dishes we got the chicken tikka masala and the dum biryani. The chicken tikka masala was great but unfortunately I don’t think either of us were super fond of the biryani. Not that it was bad, just not our cup of tea today I guess.
For drinks we had the mango magic and triple threat and both were amazing choices.
We’ve been here before and my favorite item had to be the chicken tikka pizza! We will be coming here again next time we’re in SF!“

“Chef Azalina's restaurant in San Francisco's Tenderloin district offers an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond just food. It's a testament to passion, perseverance, and community engagement.
The cuisine is remarkable, showcasing meticulous attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Each dish demonstrates craftsmanship, with a harmonious blend of tastes that speaks to the chef's skill. The menu features unique ingredients, including an herb reminiscent of Fruit Loops cereal. I'm not going to write too much about food because I think it's borderline just pointless to describe food in words.
What sets this establishment apart is Chef Azalina's commitment to her craft and community. She maintains close relationships with her suppliers, including fisherwomen from Half Moon Bay, ensuring the highest quality ingredients and supporting local producers. I'm convinced that if there were 1000 more Azalinas in SF, this would be the greatest city on earth.
After my meal, I had the privilege of speaking with Chef Azalina for two hours. She shared fascinating stories about her relationship with food, the inspirations behind each course, and her experience as a restaurant owner in the Tenderloin. Her passion for culinary arts and dedication to her community were obvious.
Chef Azalina also opened up about the challenges of operating in the Tenderloin. Many potential patrons unfairly dismiss her restaurant due to its location, overlooking the exceptional culinary experience it offers. Despite this, she remains committed to her vision and to making a positive impact in the neighborhood. Her presence has contributed to the neighborhood's revitalization, demonstrating how a restaurant can be a force for community improvement.
Azalina offers not just a meal, but an experience that combines culinary excellence with personal passion and community engagement. It's a must-visit for those seeking innovative, thoughtfully prepared cuisine in San Francisco, and a shining example of how food can transcend stereotypes and transform communities.“

“The food here is excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly. The line can be long on weekend mornings as a function of the food being so yummy. So be prepared to wait a little. It’s also halal, which is rare among non-vegetarian breakfast items. So that’s a huge plus.“
“My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here celebrating his birthday. We were offered a comped glass of champagne since we were celebrating. The place definitely gives swanky steakhouse but with a more modern twist. I HIGHLY recommend the Pavé Tots with caviar, the steak tartare, the potato puree and the truffle bordelais sauce. You really can't go wrong with any steak you choose. If you're a cutlery or a knife nerd, they let you choose your own steak knife from their eclectic collection of hand made knives. They also have a pianist that plays in the lounge nightly which i think adds to the ambiance. Thank you Vault Steakhouse for a wonderful time and meal! Will definitely be back.“

“We had gone for dinner and we loved our food. It makes a lot of difference when the food is good. Their lamb seekh kabab, tandoori chicken, karahi gosht, everything was superb!
Want good food then go to Chaska! You will love it!!!-Papiha Nandy“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“This was the very first restaurant my girlfriend and I tried as soon as we landed in San Francisco and it did not disappoint whatsoever! The food was so flavorful and the vibe on a Wednesday afternoon was full of ambiance yet very hospitable. The food was fast and well made. The self serve drink station had sealed pitchers of water you can take to your table which is awesome because personally i don’t like depending on a server to refill my water. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the lamb biryani with the garlic naan. The food was very appetizing and full of flavor with a touch of pungency. Highly recommend!“

“Great place to grab quick and delicious Halal burgers with juicy wings. The portion size of their meals and their French fries are phenomenal. ❤️
Had a small issue with my beef mushroom burger and got it replaced with a new one in 5 minutes. Awesome customer service 👏
Would definitely visit this place again soon.“

“It's de bomb. No but for real this food hits the spot whenever I'm in SF, I think either my Afghan friends or some chill random dude at SFO told me about it but either way I made it a habit to go out of my way to get this excellent food once a year when I'm down in SF. Really perfectly spiced, comforting food, nice people.
Vegetarian options: The Vegs are good and you'll have veg entrees to choose from, I think their roasted meat is the must-have though so I'll say they have options but it's not why I go here.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly“

“This restaurant food is much more better than other Pakistani Indian restaurants all around the US. Chicken biryani & seekh kabob was so delicious authentic Pakistani flavor specially the Tea which is so so so good like Pakistani famous Pathan’s tea and we never had an experience before this in US. The best thing is they make in front of us so the quality of the food is so fresh and yummy like your own kitchen.“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken, beef, gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy, tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“Perfect spot for a quick lunch. I first tried the food from Sajj in San Mateo. It was a "regular" lunch place for many at my office. Now that I occasionally work in SF, I was please to find a Sajj just a block away. Love that the food is fresh and bonus that it is full of flavor. I take advantage of ordering ahead and picking up on my schedule.“

“Met the Chicken box At the SF Farmer's market. Love the crispy chicken breast .( bought x 2 pieces). especially Hala 🐔 more humane... saw them cook the meat, fresh, crispy, not oily at all, coating to meat just right, mouth feel perfect; moreover even 3 days later still holds true to the first day taste,“

“Really good chicken! We bought The G Meal plus some sides which was enough for 2 people. The chicken was crispy and delicious. However, their fries were soft and their mac and cheese quite firm and a little cold when we got it. Their Texas Toast was okay, but not sure I understood the idea of having it with chicken.“

“After a day in the city, we decided to grab a quick bite. Has’ place is rated nearly 5/5 on Google Maps, and it did not disappoint.
Has was incredibly friendly, and his food was amazing! The meatball sandwich was absolutely to die for. When he saw I had my little dog with me, he kindly asked if he could feed her. He brought out a plate full of meat and a bowl of water for her, completely free of charge.
He struck up a conversation with us, sharing stories about his business and life. The food was incredible, and the company made it even better.
I would highly recommend Has’ place to anyone looking for healthy, delicious food served with a smile.
All respect to Has!“
