“While not an expert I grew up in Detroit eating gyros as often as hamburgers. Hands down the best gyro I have had in ages. Warm soft pita, crisp fresh veggies, great house made sauce and really tasty gyro meat. And always friendly service from the owner. Small seating area so may need to plan to do take out versus eat in.“

“I had the opportunity to enjoy their food at a recent pop-up restaurant put on by La cucina in San Francisco! their cuisine is Algerian and very delicious! I have never had the chance to experience this particular cuisine and now I cannot wait until they open the Municipal Marketplace in San Francisco's tenderloin neighborhood! expected to open in July, KAYMA will be one of the stalls featured there. absolutely every morsel I tried at that dinner was delicious but they're brined black olives were incredible! hoping they will have them available in jars to take home!“

The restaurant is large and has a lot of seating. They had no issues accommodating walk-ins. The food came out in a timely manner, and the waitresses were friendly.

It was my first time here so I ordered classic dishes like manti and plov, two dishes I enjoy and have tried before elsewhere. That was enough for my friend and I to share, so the portions are quite filling. I enjoyed the texture of the rice in the plov, and it came with this simple side salad of tomatoes and red onion but it paired nicely with the dish, and I found myself really enjoying it. Next time, I’d love to try some dishes I’ve never had before, or the kebab plates. I saw someone else order a kebab plate and it came out sizzling and smelling so so good!“

“Mama's is the best lunch spot in cow hollow and it's not even close. Everyone comes for the chicken caesar wrap, but they return for the breakfast burritos, chicken tikka masala wrap, the tuna wrap, and the awesome coffee, chai, and juices! Hell, even the shawarma cauliflower wrap is delicious. Their sauce/salsa game is point.

Plus the folks who work here are kind & efficient, and that might be the best part.

“Absolutely stunned at the quality of food here! 5/5 stars for everything. My husband and I ended up getting the pani puri shots, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, beef brisket pizza. For drinks we had a dragonfruit mocktail and chai. Taste was the gold standard, and service was super attentive. I was returning a rental car two days later and walked in for lunch. I had a Chicken Shawarma. It was even better than it smelled. I have eaten over 100 shawarmas in SF, and this was the best I ever had.“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

The green sauce is my absolute favorite and takes everything to the next level. The chicken sandwich was sooo good, and the patty was greatttt—crispy, flavorful, and delicious! Fresh food, generous portions, and super satisfying. You can also feel the care that goes into the food. Definitely recommend this for an everyday meal, any day of the week!“

“Dottie made our evening! We were lucky enough to be seated in her section and she was the best! Her recommendations and attention to detail were perfect! The food was delicious, although the rib eye and steak frittes were a little too salty. If you like salt I'm sure they'd be perfect. Drinks, appetizers and desserts were also very, very good - especially the tots with caviar! Yum!!“

“Pakwan was really good! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and incredibly flavorful, and the food came out quickly and on time. The ambience is fantastic as well—it is a beautiful, inviting space and makes for a really enjoyable dining experience.

The only thing to keep in mind is that it is more of a self-service setup when it comes to the extras. You grab your own silverware, plates, napkins, drinks, and to-go boxes. It was not a major issue for us, but it is helpful to know what to expect going in.

Chicken biryani & seekh kabob was so delicious authentic Pakistani flavor specially the Tea which is so so so good like Pakistani famous Pathan’s tea and we never had an experience before this in US.
