“The food was absolutely amazing. It's very hard to find a carribean or South American restaurant in San Francisco without them incorporating Mexican food. This place definitely takes the cake. They did a great job bringing flavor and authencity to every dish . Although the options in the menu are fairly safe options to the American man they're just awesome. The only reason I won't rate this space a five star is because of the space. The place is cramped and the seating is very uncomfortable.“

“Can't find huitlacoche easily and they have it in their empanadas! Yum. Chicken fajitas was a plentiful portion and pretty good, but needed more seasoning. Small little restaurant with mostly solo diners. Maybe they do more take out I'm not sure, but glad I tried it! Very nice host/server. And great value.“

The food was so tasty and authentic. The drinks were perfection. And the servers and bartender really are fantastic. They make you feel like you are part of the family!
We also had a celiac friend and they were so accommodating in making different modifications so that dishes could be gluten free!!“

“First night in San Francisco and utterly exhausted after lack of sleep getting here we staggered out to an early dinner ( early here- 2am where we just came from). We must have looked like halfwits, probably confirmed by us choosing what we realised after was the one unset and not yet cleaned table in the whole place! The waitress was patient and didn’t make us feel any more idiotic than we already felt. The food was really fab too. I had my favourite sort of thing - lots of little bits to try as many dishes as possible - while my partner had arepas. We only have a few nights staying near here but I very much hope i can persuade M to have a repeat dinner here!“

“This place has been a community bedrock for 20+ years. Always here for us. During covid lock downs, they set up their own food pantry (with the fridge getting electricity from the shop).

Churros are always a hit. Good coffee.

“Place is as authentic as it gets. It is next door to a little Guatemalan grocery. The tacos and taco bar have some of the best flavor in clevelamd! The red sauce is very hot. Be careful. Took a bit of time to get our order but overall it is a repeat place for good tacos made authentically.“

I enjoyed the papusas here, except I think they are a little too salty for my taste, maybe it’s the salt of the cheese they use not sure, otherwise they are delicious. I ordered two cheese and two mixed. Not a ton of meat in the mixed. Very light stuffing. The sauce they give you is not that spicy at all.“

“Don’t miss the Peruvian gems on this menu! Incredible ceviche and lomo saltado, as well as perfectly cooked steak & rotisserie chicken. The Peruvian classic ceviche was one of the best I’ve ever had.
