“Authentic and delicious Puerto Rican spot in the Haight with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent, very flavorful, and clearly well prepared. The empanadas were especially outstanding. The main dishes were generous in portion size and very tasty as well.

The service was a bit chaotic at times and not everything arrived in the right order or timing, but the staff was still friendly and welcoming throughout. The restaurant fits perfectly with the character and atmosphere of the street, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

Great value for money. We were three people and all of us loved it.“

“First night in San Francisco and utterly exhausted after lack of sleep getting here we staggered out to an early dinner ( early here- 2am where we just came from). We must have looked like halfwits, probably confirmed by us choosing what we realised after was the one unset and not yet cleaned table in the whole place! The waitress was patient and didn’t make us feel any more idiotic than we already felt. The food was really fab too. “This bacon breakfast burrito has everything that I could ask from all the food categories filling all my nutritional needs for at least 10 hours. I'm a human going on 3 cylinders compact hybrid so my numbers don't necessarily reflect the rest of people's. Their habanero sauce is really poppin'- just do it if you're experienced with spicy flavors cause it stings. They give you a nice cold glass of water complimentary to your food. Appreciated the music 🎶, and the amazing customer service. This was the loftiest fanciest breakfast burrito of my life. I had one, and you should have one too!
The burrito in question was well eaten hence the crumbles left in the plate. Mimosa was rad, too! Now I hope I can make it back to my hotel without looking slightly drunk.“

“This place has been a community bedrock for 20+ years. Always here for us. During covid lock downs, they set up their own food pantry (with the fridge getting electricity from the shop).

Churros are always a hit. Good coffee.

“Went here for a somewhat large family gathering. While not the best Mexican food I've ever had the quality was good. Every one in the group seemed to enjoy their meals and my steak burrito hit the spot. Margaritas were pretty good too. Staff were friendly and attentive.
I would suggest you guys take orders at the table like a normal restaurant instead of making us go up to the front desk and order. I get that you are probably short staffed but getting our group of over 10 people to the front of the restaurant and ordered took way longer than was necessary, and we ended up making other customers wait while we got everything sorted.
While I don't mind paying for my meal before I eat it, if you are paying with a credit card it means you have to tip before receiving service, which just seems backwards to me (a tip should be a thank you).

“This is the first time ever in my life that I've had in arepa. The yellow corn spicy chicken arepas were incredible. Seasonings and the flavors were amazing and you could tell everything was made fresh.
I had a passion fruit agua fresca to go with it and it was delicious. We also ordered some garlic yucca fries and they were incredible. This was also the first time I ever had yucca fries and they were amazing on par with wedge cut potato fries. The sauces were mind-blowing and the atmosphere was great for such a small space. It was lovely and quiet. The servers were very kind and patient with our order. 11 stars out of five. If you've never been here, I highly recommend you try it at least once and you'll have your mind blown and your socks. Rocked and you'll go back for more“
