“I got the roast beef on gluten free bun and it was all I could ever ask for in a deli sandwich. The gluten free bun was soft but thick and super yummy. I got tomato and lettuce and avocado and roast beef and bacon. I got it delivered through uber eats so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere. But the sandwich was amazing. The only drawback to the sandwich is it’s a little small. It’s 6 inches and I ate a handful of nuts with it to feel full. Besides that yummy.“

“Really good 小笼包. Chinese owned, operated and staffed. You’re getting the real deal here. Beef noodles were pretty decent too. One thing I like is that unlike most Chinese eateries - the MSG here isn’t too strong. Pig ear salad were alright, could do with a bit more kick in flavour. Overall - a great meal and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good Chinese food.“

“This was phenomenal. The soup broth was SO flavorful and the egg looked like it was birthed by a golden chicken. Seriously incredible. My only qualm is that they don’t let you adjust the toppings. I personally don’t like pork but was unable to switch it out for another type of meat. Other than that, seriously great ramen. Server was super nice as well and the vibes were great.“

“Pho 2000 is a no-nonsense hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese spot that is not especially fancy or polished, but it is serving up piping hot, flavorful bowls of pho that absolutely hit the spot. The staff were all super friendly and very prompt with things like water, tea, and bussing dirty plates and bowls, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the #3, the beef pho with rare steak, well-done flank, tendon, and tripe. I tried the broth on its own first and it had a nice depth of flavor before I added my usual dashes of hoisin and sriracha. I also ordered the rare steak on the side since I hate when it gets overcooked, and it was a good test of how hot the soup was when the slices started to turn that perfect light pink gradually as it continued to simmer in the broth.

I liked the pieces of tendon and tripe that were in the bowl, but honestly there could have been a lot more of both since those are some of my favorite bites of pho. The goi cuon, or shrimp and pork spring rolls, were pretty standard and decently fresh, though I'm not sure I'd order them again given the price as they were effectively 2 long rolls cut into 6 pieces for over $10.

Overall, this is a great spot if you're just looking to scratch a quick pho fix and happen to be in the neighborhood.“

“Went with a party of 12 and joined the waitlist early so we were able to get seated pretty quick! Our table ordered one kalbijim medium spicy with cheese and one mild kalbijim. Between the two we liked the medium spicy with cheese a lot more since we thought the mild one a little too sweet.

Meat was super tender and so were the veggies, and it paired very nicely with the purple rice! Wish they had more variety for their side dishes but rly delicious over all, just a little pricy!“

“I think this is the best hot pot restaurant I've been to in California. Very clean and spacious with an attentive, thoughtful and kind owner/server. There are lots of options for the hotpot, all are available, and none are overpriced. One important detail for me and other people with allergies is that it's peanut-free, so I can even enjoy suspiciously peanutty things like sesame paste without worrying. I would definitely come back and take friends.“

“The food here is 1000/10. The general Cho chicken is absolutely delicious. It has no right being that good. The nice lady made it within 10min, it was chunks of large chicken lightly fried in a delicious sauce. Absolute hole in the wall spot. I can’t wait to come back to try more of their food. Keep in mind this is a take out only spot. She’s only one elderly lady so I think she’s trying to make it as easy as possible. Food was piping hot and fresh.“

I was in SF for some work stuff and had to go there twice because it was that good !
The beef chow fun was the right balance of onions, noods, and meat! The meat was also super tender 😍
The cold beef tendons were really yummy too!
Next time, I need to try some of the greens and heard the dumplings were also very good!

The service was impeccable - the two young gentlemen did an excellent job managing a relatively busy / small place!

The Good Catch Vegan Manhattan Seafood Chowder and Tortilla soup were both amazing and the Cabo salad was hearty enough for us to share and not feel deprived in any way. “Came here during Salesforce TDX 2026 with some friends visiting from Mexico — they were on a mission for lobster rolls, so we trusted Google (and all the other reviewers) and gave this place a try. Good call.

The place was nice and quiet when we walked in, and you could immediately smell the seafood — always a good sign.

We ordered two Maine-style lobster rolls and one Connecticut-style (warm with butter), plus of course… one friend had to be different and ordered a burger 😂

I went with the lobster roll + chowder combo — and somehow ended up with two chowders, which was a great surprise. Not complaining at all.

Everything was delicious. The lobster rolls were fresh and flavorful, the chowder was rich and comforting, and even the fries on the side were on point.

And shoutout to the burger — my friend is very picky about burgers, and he loved this one, which says a lot.

Service was smooth, no issues, and the whole experience felt easy and relaxed.

“Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. Honestly these folks should turn into a full fledged restaurant.“

We like spice, so added a little of their pickled peppers and pickle juice to our clay pots. The pea sprouts we ordered (off menu) were tender, with a little garlic. “Walked into this place by total chance. Got the veggie chowmein and eggplant with chicken and prawns and it was awesome. This is the type of Chinese food you wanna eat to cure a hangover, just a perfect combo of flavor, and the right amount of greasy. The eggplant was cooked to perfection, it melted in your mouth.

Their menu is a-la-carte style so not ideal for an individual person unless you’re really hungry or want leftovers! Would definitely go back to try some of their other dishes.“

“I recently came for a Friday afternoon lunch - and it was excellent. I live nearby and will be back! The atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and food are exactly what I wanted, and worth the price. My Baja fish tacos were a great batter and sauce, combined with the veggie slaw. I usually prefer grilled fish tacos, and yet these are worth another order for sure :)
The guacamole and chips are also very good - and the homemade texture and flavoring is very obvious - good!!
And, the margarita was also recommended - fresh juice, and excellently prepared. My server was very helpful and friendly - as well the chef who I thanked on my wat out!!“

“My wife was craving bulgogi after an appointment, but without all the fuss and cost of AYCE. This spot was nearby and had a perfect menu. Although near the tenderloin things were perfectly nice and we parked nearby at the Civic center. The restaurant was empty during an early weekday dinner, but they did send out a few pickup orders. The staff was lovely and invited us warmly to sit down.

She got an order of the beef bulgogi and I ordered the Army base stew, something I've been wanting to try but never see on menus in our areas. I got a Korean orange soda and she got a milk tea from the extensive drink options. The bulgogi was just was she was craving and in a very fair portion. It was salty, a little sweet and very tender, plus it all came with purple rice and kimchi which is lovely. The army base stew was in a huge stone bowl and was insanely hot, so plan for some time to let it cool. It was packed with everything I'd hoped; spam, mushrooms, eggs, beef, the ramen noodles... And the broth, oh my God, spicy, fatty, so rich and getting thicker as I ate everything from the bowl. Be sure to save some of the purple rice to pour in at the end and eat up that broth.

Great meal at a fair price in a very comfortable little restaurant. You should go here.“

“I order BB catering from the Cole Valley location regularly. Juan, the catering manager, is wonderful - so accommodating!!! The food was packed perfectly, neatly, and all items are always labeled. Not to mention the salads and sandos are excellent!!! They have my vote!!!“

A nastyass rattlesnake bit him, and he figured it'll heal on its own, so he didn't go to a doctor...Well he finally went and the doctor had to cut his leg off, and he's getting a peg leg just for the bragging rights, and the free beers he'll get at the bar! All the while I was laughing at him, I couldn't stop thinking about the Split Pea Soup and a Roast Beef Sandwich from Ladle & Leaf that was soon to be in front of me.
