“We had friends coming to visit from Arizona and wanted to take them somewhere special for dinner. We heard about the newly reopened Paseo in Mill Valley and decided to try it. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Kevin as we entered. After giving us a tour we were seated in the main dining room by a cozy fireplace. We ordered cocktails along with a charcuterie board and roasted Brussels sprouts. At the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter Will, my sister and I ordered the beet salad. One of our guests had the Market Green Salad and another raved about her Potato Leek Soup. Wanting to try different entrees we ordered California Halibut, Braised Osso Busco, Mary's Chicken Breast, Rib Eye Steak, and Roasted Duck Breast with orange glaze. The taste and presentation exceeded our expectations. As we were enjoying coffee along with Chocolate Indulgence, a (layered torte) and a Peanut Crunch Bar, Chef Branden approached our table to see how we enjoyed our meal. We all told him how much we enjoyed the food, his beautiful presentation, and the smiling staff. We had a great five star experience and will definitely be back!“

“Amazing food, one of the breakfast in the town! We tried avocado toast with salmon and breakfast croissant, and everything is so delicious.

One note about the place: we prefer to sit outside because the exhaust hood inside doesn't work well and afterwards our clothes smell like food. It would be great if this could be improved in the establishment.“

“Great little wine bar with a lovely little back patio area. We came here mid-afternoon on a Sunday with a group of 5 and were seated right away. There were heated seats and warmers around to keep the patio cozy in cool weather. The service was great - our waiter listened to our preferences and picked out a great bottle for the table. We enjoyed the food options too - peppadew pepper poppers stuffed with goat cheese and that were unexpectedly sweet and spicy and vinegary, and a nice meat and cheese board. Would love to try the pistachio feta dip next time I’m visiting!

Vegetarian options: Cheese boards, hummus plates, pepper poppers, deviled eggs, pistachio feta dip, etc.“

“First, the good: good wine, knowledgable and friendly staff, yummy snacks!I really want this place to succeed which is why I'm writing some constructive feedback! I recently moved to the neighborhood and have been looking for my cozy neighborhood wine bar to hang out with with a few friends or to read a book. I WANT this to be that place, but after going a few times there are just a few things that don't make me eager to go super often or recommend to friends, but I think they are easy to improve!Areas for improvement:-coziness and seating for smaller parties. The place is tiny and I get that! But the majority of the seating is 2 large tables that seat ~6 people. I guess in theory the tables could be communal but generally wind up seating 1 medium-larger group, so I feel weird grabbing a seat at them.When I show up on my own that means I have to sit at the bar or at one of the window high top stools (which have no back rest). Last time I was there I brought a book and after ~30 mins was getting back pain :( I would've stayed for a second glass of wine but decided to head home instead. A few comfier chairs or smaller tables that seat 2-4 (and could be pushed together for larger parties) would make me a lot more likely to go more often/stay for longer.-in a similar vein, the lighting inside at night is somewhat cold. A little bit warmer/cozier lighting would make the place feel more homey. Again, only sharing this in the hopes that this feedback is helpful! Would love to see this place continue to grow and succeed :)“

One of our favorite things is their happy hour wine flights, where you can customize your wine flight for $13. They also have some nice flatbread options if you're interested in a light snack while sipping some wine.“

We did a flexible set-up with a minimum charged for wine & charcuterie and then cash bar after that, which is ideal for this type of event. “If you do nothing else in San Francisco, do Ecco Terreno. This establishment brings you the Napa food and wine experience without having to go there. I went for the five course (which turned out to be seven) food and wine pairing and was blown away. Hands down the best food and wine I have put in my mouth. Ever. “This is for the tasting room AND the Advent calendar from 2023.Tasting room - the woman who runs it is very experienced and we enjoyed chatting with her as she explained a variety of wines to us. There were some really delicious ones we had. One thing I found totally obnoxious and unhelpful were the descriptions of the wine. No joke - these were some descriptions. I was cringing so hard reading them.“Like a pair of silky red pajamas”“Like going on a 2nd date”They are trying too hard here to seem cool and it was embarrassing how useless the descriptions were. We are paying for wine, please describe it. This is not a creative writing class. Thank goodness the lady who ran the tasting room was there to give us further explanation about the actual flavor, aromatics or profile we should expect when tasting. She agreed the written descriptions were not as helpful as they could be but it was not her decision. We seriously would not have tried any of the wines just based on those descriptions. I had to knock off one star because of this.Advent calendar - was skeptical based on some shipping issues I read from the previous year. I got mine on time and the variety was good! I would say I really enjoyed about 70% and the 30% were interesting/good, not my favorite but cool to try. I would do it again next year.“

Wine selection is extensive and so pleased to see wines sourced from México.
Food was quick to arrive, our table ordered chips and salsa (salsas very good), fresh made guacamole, empanadas, sopes, queso fundido, mole and churros with coconut ice cream.
Favorite dishes were the sopes and mole dish.
Least favorite dish was the churros and ice cream. The churros had a type of filling and were more on the crunch side and the coconut ice cream texture could have been smoother. I would have preferred vanilla ice cream paired with the churros but coconut was the closest flavor to vanilla they offered
Would recommend to a friend and would like to go back to try more dishes.“

“We noticed this wine bar in our way to Hayes St, seeing all the packed restaurants (with lines) we turned back around and decided to see what was on offer and Ebb & Flow. What a lovely, friendly wine bar. We ordered wines based on their staff picks (great option), a cheese board, salami, and tuna. The atmosphere was perfect, I’d recommend it for a date or a pre theatre drink and light food. If we’re back in SF again we would definitely return.“

“Dined for a double date last evening with a reservation. Highlights were the octopus and mixed salad appetizers but hope to return and try the other share plates! We ordered three pizzas - one comment is that the sausage pizza was a bit underwhelming as the toppings kept sliding off and the cheese was not melted enough. Everything else was good!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“Loved the Bump Bar. Had an early Valentine's Day and Late Anniversary dinner in Feb 11. Enjoyed sitting at the end of the bar. Hosts and chef were friendly and inviting. Enjoyed learning about the Japanese grill used on the trout and steak dishes (which were delicious) never had potatoes prepared like the potato dish we had that night. Victoria (the owner) helped us plan the event and the atmosphere was perfect and she and her staff provided great service throughout the event. The wine and empanadas are excellent. “We had a lovely trip to Tiburon and started at this wine bar. We both ordered champagne flights, but my only complaint was that the flight didn’t clearly indicate one of the servings would be Cremant. As a restaurant owner who works with plant-based wines, I’m familiar with Cremant—it doesn’t agree with me and always makes me sick. When the host began serving it, I immediately declined and asked for a substitution. She kindly gave me a double pour of the rosé instead, and we both agreed the second brut was our favorite.

The staff were friendly, the vibes were chill, but the space itself is small and felt a bit cold. One host gave us great recommendations for nearby spots, and another pointed us to the best fries in town—Sam’s definitely delivers on that!

They have a good selection of tasty wines and the charcuterie platter presented well with a nice selection of meats and cheeses.
