“We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“One of my favorite places for a boba drink. The shop has special events for arts and crafts, kpop fans, and holidays. I go for the delicious drinks. My faves are the orange milky way, sweet pink, and strawberry mochi. The Alaska sunset, honey lemon mint tea, and fruit tea are also very good. The service has always been great. I would suggest that most people if not all should try one time n u 2 would be hooked too. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

Good flavor tea and good boba are always important to me — I usually get my sweetness from the boba itself, so I almost always order 0 added sugar. The hojicha was flavorful and smooth, and the boba was fresh, chewy, and delicious, which really made the drink.

The staff was super friendly, the space was clean and welcoming, and they were kind enough to let me take photos (always appreciated by a food lover 📸). Everything felt thoughtful and well done, and the vibe was perfect for sitting and actually enjoying your tea.

“El Monte doesn’t have too many good boba spots, but Ono Tea House is a decent option. Prices here are a little lower than most places, which is nice.

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

📩 Boba boba! I had the chance to try out @bengong and it was super delicious!

We ordered:

I think the best Asian compliment you can get for dessert is the “not so sweet,” from your aunties, and this was definitely what it was giving.

The sweetest drink by far was the Mango Mochi which was served as a slush. It was super refreshing and a good pick me up drink for a hot day.

The tea lattes were also very good and are definitely a good option for less sweet items. My personal favorite between the lattes had to be the peach latte which was super refreshing and a good study drink!

Environment is also a good place to study and chill at, but definitely on the smaller side 📚🙇‍♀️📖

The boba tea was absolutely amazing. I got the strawberry milk boba tea, and I loved it. It was so cheap too, especially with the toppings I added. I got it with coffee jelly, boba, pudding, and it tasted so good. It also tasted like there was actual strawberry in there and not just strawberry flavoring. Had some strawberry bits in it too. I can’t believe how cheap it was, ($6.50) for a large boba with three toppings. Was also pretty fast too.“

“Fourth time trying this place, I do recommend it if craving for a tea, sweet milky boba, or slushy drinks with some hotdogs/meats or cheese snacks. They added waffles snack too. It was quite tasty, with friendly, helpful staff and cute small hidden location with free parking. The price is pretty good for buying one drink and getting 50% off next item. The passion fruit or lemon black tea are so far my favorite here. It was mixed well with great favors. The original hotdogs I tired had so many dipping sauces to select from that it was delicious. It is not a healthy snack, but it was a treat. Many other foods are near this plaza. I was pretty full after for under $10. They take both cash and credit card, have both a person to help order or those order yourself monitor, everything convenient plus a restroom for customers not like some other tea places.“

“Delicious boba drinks. I’ve visited this location several times and the employees are always efficient, but the prices have been rising similar to other tea places in LA. Two options to order: at two self-service kiosks or with a worker at the register. I recommend the Oreo brûlée boba milk which was $6.95. They also have several kids menu options which are great for a smaller 16 oz drink instead of the normal 22 oz. They’re located at the entrance of a food court in a shared plaza with a super market and other stores, so there’s enough shared lot parking.“

I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. “I needed some afternoon boba, so I stopped by this Sunright location. This store is located in a plaza with other businesses and it was busy during the time. However, I was able to find ground level parking. Inside the store wasn’t busy though, since I was able to order at the self kiosk right away. The kiosk had an images, so it easy to reference what to get. It was ready within two minutes. I got the Oreo Brulee boba milk tea (regular ice, fresh milk, 50% sweetness, with agar boba). It was a good drink option, especially if you are craving something sweet. This store does have a reward system if you put your phone number, so take advantage of that! American Express is accepted.“

This location is tiny - very little parking is available on the streets and this being situated next to a high school means they get BUSY after school gets out.
