“I placed an order for my daughter's baby shower 4 days before the shower date. I was worried about being able to get a cake ordered in such a short time frame. I looked to Yelp as I always do to find a cake shop to rescue me. And I am glad that I came upon cake sisters. The whole experience from ordering to the final cake was amazing. I was able to explain over the phone what I wanted and followed up with an email. They executed my order flawlessly. The cake was stunning, and the flavor was delicious. I ordered vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and a Bavarian cream and pineapple filling. I described the cake that I wanted and it looked and tasted as if I had made it for myself. They were so spot on. It was soooo pretty. Especially the little edible shoes that they made. Although I did get a few pics, I didn't get any really good ones, but they took some before I'd picked it up. I hope they post it.“

The only sad part about everything is that they stopped making the sponge cakes with jello . I only wished they would bring it back because I've been craving it for years. “Getting ice cream is always a treat and this location is consistently good, in my opinion. They usually have a good variety of new flavors, as well as the classic "go-to"s. I tried the Oreo N Cold Brew this time and it was tasty- coffee ice cream with a LOT of Oreo cookie mixed in. It was just sweet enough and the coffee taste seemed stronger than the usual coffee. The service is great here and it was pretty busy for a Thursday night. Could be because of the heat, but I think it's also that this Baskin Robbins is a good one and the neighborhood knows it. :)“

“New ownership since the last time I stopped by a few years ago, but happy to see someone move into the spot. More of a classic panederia now vs the modern Mexican that was there before, but still very good. The new owners are definitely “mom and pop”, very hard working and very friendly. They didn’t have what I was looking for, which were the mini churros with dipping sauce for my office mates, so I tried a few other options and everyone seemed to love what I brought in. They gave me a card and said I can pre-order anything I wanted, including the mini churros sans dipping sauce as well as other mini versions of their regular pastries. Will definitely be back!“

“I came to this Baskin Robbins a few minutes before they closed and I was attended by the two young girls that were closing and they had such a positive and enthusiastic attitude! They welcomed me in with a very friendly tone and let me take my time deciding what I wanted. I ordered a Pralines n creme icecream bowl and it was sooo delicious! I love the ice cream here it's sometimes expensive but it's worth it. It was a treat to stop by! “We are very happy with our two-tier 8" + 10" Pink Pearls And Roses wedding cake. We had purchased a cake for $80 from Sweet Oak because the baker didn't offer samples. We tried to work with her to make modifications but that didn't work out, so we tried Lark Cake Shop because they offered free samples. John allowed us to sample as many flavors as we liked in the form of cupcakes which we picked up in their Silver Lake location. We learned that it truly pays to go with a baker that offers free samples. He said the bottom tier could be different from the top tier so we chose mocha as the bottom tier and berry shortcake as the top tier. The only frosting available was Italian buttercream, which luckily was our favorite. The cake was moist and the frosting was not too sweet; it was delicious and memorable.“

Probably just one or two people are serving, so expect longer wait times than usual if there’s a lot of people. Other than that, staff is friendly and do their best to be efficient and quick. “I had the Cuban sandwich with plantains which was delicious! The sandwich was warm oozing with cheese and the plantains was thick and crispy. Could only eat 1/2 the sandwich since it was so filling. Be sure to leave room for desserts to try some of their pastries.“
