I was going to go to the drive thru but I decided to eat inside and chill and she was just amazing from the start. She took my order and gave me some food suggestions and I was so pleased. I got the chipotle chicken avo melt and a latte. She even walked by my table and asked how did I like it. You really don't get customer service like this anymore. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. It was my first time hosting such a large party and the food orders got messy, Destinee(?) was absolutely amazing on the calls and even more helpful in person! She was so patient, and was accommodating to the unique orders/dietary restrictions and I really appreciate how all the food was labeled. My guests were so happy and excited to go to the restaurant in person. When I went to pick up, plenty of parking and this place had a line out the door. I can guarantee you it is definitely WORTH the wait! we tried the french toast, the breakfast burrito, the smash burger, everything was so tasty. The ube was a very popular item at my party. “Super tasty pastries - the cheese roll was nearly as good as Portos, and the smores cookie was deliciously sweet. The chicken empanada was a little dry, but the flavor was worth it. If those are the less popular items, I'll definitely come back to try the fan favorites!“

“This is a nice find for Indonesian food in Upland. I just tried their ox tail soup. Also orders the Sumatra coffee. Both were delicious and fantastic. Ox tail soup is just as you would like when mom made it for you. Vegetables and tomatoes sliced in were not overcooked and brings good texture to the soup. I will certainly try other dishes next time. I came during off hours so this place might get crowded during peak hours. Parking at the strip mall looks adequate.

“Beautiful cafe with a lot of pastries options. They weren’t completely full because I came 45 minutes before closing but still a great amount of pastries to choose from. I got the Spanish iced latte and it was a beautiful blend of cinnamon and coffee with condensed milk. I also purchased a slice of carrot cake. Amazing flavor with the crunch of walnuts paired with the light cinnamon cream it’s frosted in. I also recommend the wedding cookie. A very soft and delicate cookie tossed in powdered sugar. Highly recommend and will be coming back!“

“This boba place used to be Tea Party Boba and Snacks. Uranus 27 boba tea is a great place to hang and kill time while enjoying your boba. They have multiple charging stations and cute displays. Nice ambiance inside and spacious! They offer snacks to munch too.“

“Quaint family-owned market full of yummy baked goods, organic fruits and veggies (and more), kombucha, coffees, protein bowls, and even a surprising selection of gelato! They have a burger/hot dog pop up that I was interested in which is how I found the market itself.

In addition to my delicious burger (from the little pop up tent outside called Gr8 Burgers), I walked away with some incredible homemade cookies! Their bakery case had so many delectable looking items like giant cinnamon rolls and pan dulce - it was hard to choose.

But the fresh cookies were calling out to me so I grabbed a chocolate chip, a peanut butter, and an oatmeal cranberry. The cookies were massive, soft, and absolutely fantastic! The oatmeal cranberry also had white chocolate chips in it and is officially my new fave cookie - omg it was so good!

The staff member helping me was super friendly too! I truly enjoyed chatting while waiting for my burger - such a family friendly vibe! They have a large patio out front with tables and chairs, as well as an adorable back patio area with umbrellas and plenty of seating - and they’re dog friendly too!

They have a rotating schedule of various food pop ups and events listed on the boards outside the market as well as on their Instagram page. And there’s tons of parking in the back - but it’s not paved and a tad bumpy so be sure to go slowly.

I had a great visit and will most definitely be back for more burgers and those fabulous cookies (and maybe even some gelato next time?? lol)!!“

Come check it out and support them by purchasing something. Proceeds go back to supporting the job training. In addition next to it is a lovely store that also supports training them and has great deals on a variety of items. Pass it along to friends and family.“

“Nicest family-owned donut shop in Upland. We are so glad that they are still open. This donut shop is following all of the COVID-19 health protocols. The service wasn't so good but anyways I had a burrito chile verde they pack a little container of salsa which was delicious roasted flavor, very nice ??. “We came here because it wasn't real far from our hotel the "Elm" in Little Elm Texas. We are from Eastvale Ca. Just visiting our daughter and her family. We came for breakfast Friday and Saturday. It was wonderful! The server and the service was great both days. The food was scrumptious too! Outstanding fruit cup! My husband and I both had the veggie omelette! The best I've ever had! Fresh ingredients too! The General manger was very good at her job too, always pouring coffee and bringing out the food to lend a hand! She was very kind.

“Met a friend for lunch today. Have been passing by for years. Big Mistake! Excellent food. Steak Sandwich was just right: size, flavor, cooked to perfection. My wife, had southwest wrap, she was pleased as well. As a side, I had the onion soup which was good, but I have had better. Our server was friendly, polite and attentive without rushing us.

“Definitely a hidden gem in the city.. you've probably passed this place up a million times. I went on a early Sunday morning looking for breakfast spots and this place popped up.
Food was 10/10 , service 10/10 definitely a nice lil spot for breakfast they do close early and fill up fast.“
