“Located in the corner of N Montebello Blvd and W Beverly Blvd next to the Starbucks.We came to get some ice cream. We got the Jamoco Almond Fudge and the Turkey Day Fixin's. They were delicious and sweet.Service was good and there are plenty of seating in the late afternoon.“

“Everything is 5 out of 5. Got a few selections and honestly would go everyday, if they don't break my bank. All pastry is full of layers, crispy, flaky. Anything with filling are perfect sweetness and smoothness. They are all big size. Makes a satisfying eat. Coffee is nice and smooth. Staffs are really nice, friendly, and helpful. They have 1 outdoor table. Nice, quiet, and spacious enough to hang comfortably with my dog. Parking in the street or structure. It is pasadena.“

“I highly recommend Yvonne‘s vegan kitchen. Yvonne has some of the best desserts, breads, and pastries that you can’t find anywhere else. I literally drive from Orange County all the way out to Pasadena because her desserts and bread are so amazing. Yvonne goes above and beyond and she is a very kind-hearted Soul and I would not want to put my money into any other business. Yvonne made a special birthday pie for me years ago over six years ago and I still think about it to this day. That’s how amazing it was.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free friendly“

“Dont mind driving 2 hours to come eat and take home baked goods.Loved the potato balls and the guava strudels. Parking on a Saturday was a little tricky. There was a farmer market behind Porto’s. We parked out ok the street.If you see along line don’t be intimidated by it it goes by quick. Get off and come enjoy some good food.“

“My son loves carrot cake, but he has always hated that many have raisins and pineapple. I live in Long Beach and I couldn’t find a local bakery that would exclude those two for him until I stumbled on The Shredded Carrot on Google. The Yelp reviews were really good and when I called the pleasant attendant said they could definitely exclude raisins and pineapple! I was delighted because I had called many places that said they couldn’t do that for us. I picked up my son’s cake yesterday and I was nervous because we had never had a cake from here. But man! Was it delicious! The Shredded Carrot went above and beyond with their service from my phone call to place the order, to the order promptness and taste! Worth the drive:)“

“I came here to try the cakes. We got the sampler box and was so impressed with the cakes itself. They were extremely tasty, flavorful and rich with flavor. The service was great. It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. We really liked the ube cake, black sesame, Belgian chocolate and lavender lemon.“

“Ordered the 12" Square famous Strawberry Whipped Crème cake for our monthly office birthday celebrations-- and it was a total hit for 40 sweet tooth employees (serves up to 50 I think). Very fresh and sweet fruits and the whipped crème was light and delicious. Cake also moist and just a touch of sweet. Easy to cut but it's a very tall cake so needed help to keep the slices in tact haha I was in awe watching the owner (?) freestyle write a birthday message on the cake with such ease. Very kind staff (even made sure we wanted the nuts on the outside out of concern for any food allergies). Would order again for sure and look forward to trying more of their confections!“

“I am new to Bellflower, and haven't really acclimated yet. I needed a birthday cake asap. I am so happy I found Fantasy Cakes Bakery. The owner took my order and he was very personable.. I ordered the cake Friday afternoon and it was ready for pick-up Saturday morning... The bakery was not even a five minute drive from my house, lots of ample parking in the back, and the shop is too cute.. that whole area has lots of curb appeal... I don't ever drive that way (work in the opposite direction). The cake was adorable, it was perfect... it wasn't an elaborate cake, but it was perfect for me. I wasn't able to take any pictures, it was eaten in like, 2.4 seconds. I don't even like cake or sweets, but I liked that cake... The cake had lemon cream filling and vanilla frosting, it was moist and just very delicious... all the February birthday names fit perfectly and they loved it... one of my nieces kinda had a tear.. not sure cause I remembered her birthday or maybe because she was suppose to give up sweets for lent.. “Saw this bakery next to fresh & flash market so decided to grab a few dessert bites. They weren't the freshest pieces, probably because I came at 6 but they certainly were tasty. Besides the texture being a bit on the hard side the small cakes were sweet goodness. Overall it's pretty good especially for El Monte. 4 small cakes totaled about $7, not too shabby.“

The Death By Chocolate has this rich dark chocolate taste, ice cream has a nice texture where it is thick, and has a nice crunch from the nuts in Death by Chocolate. Service was quick and friendly. “I am beyond pleased with the service, quality, presentation, and taste of the red velvet cake ordered from Merengue. It was my first time and will for sure be returning! They went out of their way to make sure the velvet cake is what I expected and delivered on time. I was told they normally don't include personal notes with their cakes but I needed one included letting the bday know who is was from since it was a surprise. “We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“

“I came to this Baskin Robbins a few minutes before they closed and I was attended by the two young girls that were closing and they had such a positive and enthusiastic attitude! They welcomed me in with a very friendly tone and let me take my time deciding what I wanted. I ordered a Pralines n creme icecream bowl and it was sooo delicious! I love the ice cream here it's sometimes expensive but it's worth it. It was a treat to stop by! I always have great experiences at this location and every employee i've been attended by are so marvelous and very kind!! Of course I will be back!“
