“Food was great! We tried the sweet breads- my favorite, lobster gnocchi-daughters fave, ramen-good, scallops-super lite and fresh, and the catch of the day-very tasty. The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!“

“This place is AMAZING! It was one of those places where you cannot believe it is gluten free so you keep asking if everything is Gluten free. Even my non-gluten free friends were extremely impressed. I have a wheat allergy so I asked them what kind of gluten free flour they use, and they do use a mix of potato and rice flours/Starches. They do have vegan options for those with other food intolerances. I’ll say, I had the best toasted ham and Swiss sandwich, on top of all the desserts. I’ve been in Santa Barbara for 2 days and I’ve already been there 3 times! The vibes of the bakery are also super cute. The atmosphere ties the whole experience together.“

The bread selection is extraordinary! The best hands down in SB that are fresh baked, and the pastries are excellent. They offered lunch, sandwiches made to order, and mine was delicious. I came in less than an hour before closing time. They brewed a fresh caraf of coffee and enthusiastically helped me pick out the perfect assortment for my midday meal. I'm so impressed and satisfied with this bakery. Please give them a try, I know I'm going to be a regular. Thankyou Deux Bakery.“

“Tasty cupcakes. Beware, the chocolate flavored cupcake frosting has a strong coffee flavor. I didn't see that on a sign or anything, but maybe I was supposed to know... But it was surprising. Tasty, but if you don't want mocha flavor, avoid the chocolate frosting.
Or maybe it was just a problem this weekend...
Regardless, the cupcakes were good. And the chocolate chip cookie was very good. Subtle with a little bit of salt on top. I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie the most, will likely stop again!“

“My son and I love CPK and decided to stop at this location on our way back to L.A. from Paso Robles. He orders the pepperoni pizza and I get the Italian chopped salad(half) with grilled shrimp, yum! Gluten free of course. I wanted to write this review to highlight the wonderful service provided at this location. There was an issue with a gift card and bonus cards I purchased over the holidays. Our waitress was great and she referred the issue to Stephanie and wow not only was she very kind but she also was diligent in figuring out what happened and quickly resolved it and made sure we were taken care of and happy when we were done. Thank you so much Stephanie!“

“First time here for early breakfast…very good food, great service, pleasant surroundings. Went here for breakfast several times during a one week stay traveling from the Mid-Atlantic. Side walk seating is terrific with very little road traffic noise. Very impressed.“
