“An organization I’m a part of was looking for a place to gather afterwards. I reached out to multiple locations, Ian was the most responsive and excited to host us. He was accommodating to our group of ~30 people. He and the staff were so friendly and took care of orders quickly. Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks!“

“I never know this place was beautiful and elegant bar. This place is gorgeous especially the open windows view of the hills leading towards gorgeous home. The atmosphere is old fashioned but very well designed. The people were nice and so friendly. Now the music isn't for me. Maybe because l didn't stay passing 1030pm but the drinks were top tier. I tried several drinks and they were exquisite. This place is open everyday with never charge. Must come and visit especially this time of the month OCT. Definitely will come again.“

“Fun bar. Great drinks and great prices. I read comments that some people think it’s a racist bar, believe me, it isn’t. All are welcome. No predujices here.“
“We spent a few hours here on New Year's Eve. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The owner greeted us and offered us snacks.
They have a live DJ spinning turntables, bumping music from the past to present. There's an outdoor patio in the back.
The drinks were tasty and affordable. Try the Adios MthrFckr. Bomb!“

Solid liquor line up from lesser known boutique spirits to the mainstays. Friendly bartenders that know your drink and walking distance to Crypto Area/ LA Live / Convention Center. Every neighborhood should have a place like Prank.“

“This is a cocktail bar but don't be fooled. My favorite drink is the duck fat hibiki, it's absolutely amazing. It blew every other cocktail out of the water. It might cost more and it might not look the prettiest but trust me it is delicious. They are going to discontinue it due to lack of people ordering but don't just go for the trendy or Instagram worthy drinks, it might just be a regular looking old fashion but it might just be the best old fashion I've ever had.“

“Arrived and was greeted by hostess were seated without delay and provided water immediately. Everything was served timely from appetizers to the mains and deserts. The food and cocktails were excellent. Only suggestion is the server might have informed us that the chicken main was 1/2 a chicken. A lot of food for 1 person. That aside this establishment is worth a dine in experience when in the DTLA area“

“This is the spot if you need a good, cold drink & a chill, old school vibe. I don’t like bars that have windows & Poor Denny’s is old school in that regard. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. The bartenders are always nice & they have wonderful hands on the pours. ? Good vibes & mellow times here.“

“Loved the ambient feeling of this place. Hung out at the bar with a friend. Still had a nice semi-secluded seat with an alright view. Had a "Beez Neez" which was a nice strong and fancy gin and juice. Had the truffle fries with it because the one drink was kicking in so I had to balance it. Will definitely be back again.“

“My go to pre-Dodger game hangout. The Dodger vibe is electric. Best flaming margs! The chili rellenos are seriously amazing. Crispy tacos are delicious. Portions are generous. Don’t fill up on the chips and salsa! If you sit near the bar, it’s loud. They always beat their wait time estimate so stay close after adding your name to the waitlist.“

“The lounge is conveniently located within Hilton San Gabriel. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were inviting, friendly and extremely efficient. They took wonderful care of us. For lunch we ordered: clam chowder, Caesar salad, beef taquitos with guacamole dip and Parma ham and mozzarella flat bread. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only two suggestions would be to serve crackers with the soup and maybe change the flatbread sauce to a marinara. I had an old fashioned with my meal which I really enjoyed. The drink was well balanced.The lounge is a non tipping restaurant. It’s odd I know, at least for me it is. The tip was already added to the final bill and we paid approximately 65+“

“Honestly can’t say good enough things about this bar. I used to live a few blocks away and have tried almost every cocktail on the menu and each one has been elegant, unique and beautifully balanced. I love it because you can tuck yourself away in one of the lounge areas with a book if you want, or if you feel like being social, you can sit at the bar and do that as well. The bartenders know their stuff and are very easy to talk to. No two conversations I’ve had there have ever been the same, since the customers are usually guests staying at the hotel from all over the world. You won’t regret popping into this hidden gem. Truly a breath of fresh air from the busy streets of DTLA.“

She may seem kind of direct to you, but she’s very kind and a very wonderful person and a great bar Owner. It’s a really nice cool chill atmosphere to be out. There is one of my favorite places to be at without stupid people being around. Roberta makes it happen.“

“As a first timer, this place was amazing! The wait time for my reservation did take a little longer than expected but as soon as my friend and I were seated, our server, Divine, took great care of us. The drinks are phenomenal and the music was GREAT! Definitely worth visiting in the DTLA area.“

“Super cute spot with tasty food and a karaoke bar upstairs. The inside is a lot nicer which surprised me cause of the neighborhood but definitely enjoyed it. The mentaiko pasta was delicious along with the salmon crispy rice. The curry crispy rice was very spicy.“
