Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. Their customer service is also great! Always a pleasant experience for us. We've "cheated" and have gone to other boba places when traveling but it's not the same. Twisteas definitely has our loyalty!“

Pretty simple. If there isn't anyone at the front, off to the left wall from the entrance is the tablet to order.“

On a hot day, I 100% recommend their peppermint cooler – it's a slightly milky slushy with peppermint tea, and it is so so so delicious and refreshing.“

“This review is a long time coming! I came here 3 times between Oct 2022 and April 2023, bringing friends (some new and some repeats) for tea tastings. You can try 5 teas per tasting with 5 steepings per tea (for time's sake and not because of flavor dissipation). There is such a wide and ever-changing selection of teas so there's always more to try than you could possibly ever drink!Tea habitat specializes in Chinese teas, but since that's already a lot of area to cover, you'll find something for everyone's tastes. The owner is hilarious, and we all enjoyed interacting not only with the tea and each other, but also with her. We definitely leave tea drunk :)I usually put some tasting notes for the teas in my reviews, but notes for 15 teas is a bit excessive so I'll just share a couple of my favorites.The 2022 Tai Ping Hou Kui Wild Grown 1st pick is almost matcha-like, velvety soft with a slight nuttiness. The flavor mellows over the steepings into a clean mouthfeel with subtle floral bouquet.The 2022 Xiao Ye Tu Cha Wild Native (white) Varietal Small Leaf was super interesting! It started with a sweet aroma and reminded me inexplicably of soy milk (a mix of slight creaminess and nuttiness, maybe), but with juicy mouth feel. The creamy berry sweetness really predominates in the second steeping, and there is a subtle almost umami tendency in the third steeping.I also bought a Chao Zhou red clay teapot to brew Phoenix Dan Cong teas at home!To buy to bring home, the prices of the tea leaves really range, with (of course) the really high quality teas being pricier (but oh are they good!). This is not my go-to place to stock up tea for every day drinking (can't quite afford that and some personal preferences), but it's a great treat for tea lovers to be able to access and experiment with a variety of Chinese teas. Definitely a fun experience, especially with friends!“

“a couple weeks ago i visited Chado because my daughter told me I should try loose leaf tea instead of the bags I always use. a guy there recommended me a green tea with jasmine that smelled just beautiful. “Tiny little place serving up food well above its weight class! Really good food! The chef even came out to personally ask us how the food was. So nice! Really interesting decor too! I'd come back with my date! But the place is tiny, so if there's no seating inside, and it's too hot or cold to eat outside, take it to go! The food is worth giving a new home in your belly!“

“We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“This place’s tea quality was phenomenal. I got one of the signature drinks, you get a cup that’s reusable too, and if you want topping they can give it on the side because there is no customization with the signature drinks. The boba was QQ and hot!“

“Loved my mango slush with ice cream and Brown Sugar Boba. It tasted like fresh mango and then got creamy with the ice cream. I did 75% sugar but next time I'll go 50% because of the ice cream. My partner had a cheese foam matcha drink and enjoyed it. We visited with some friends and their 5yo kids tried boba for the first time and liked the strawberry slush with strawberry boba.“

“I read the others reviews before coming
(1) I was surprised by how fairly everything seemed priced. The tags scared me at first but they are /per pound price. For reference 4oz is WAY more than I thought. Imagine filling up a gallon ziploc bag.
(2) Someone came to help me very quickly, showed me the good stuff (freshly picked green tea), and did everything to make sure I felt comfortable before making a purchase. I’m not used to this communication style but was 100% satisfied with her help.
(3) I’m sorry to everyone who had a bad experience. I wasn’t asked to pay a minimum (to whoever said there was, would love more details). Hopefully if you come back you’ll have a more positive one like mine“

“came in just now with my daughter the lady was nice but some big lady came in with two little girls and was saying she had an order for brandon or natasha and the lady made an honest mistake and said there’s no brandon there’s only natasha thinking she had two orders and the lady started to insult her saying if she can’t hear and started raising her voice at her while the lady stay calm and let her insult herself wish she would’ve defended herself some people are just so entitled“

“Authentic Taiwanese style tea place !

I really enjoyed my winter melon lemon tea with aiyu jelly. I customized it with half ice and half sugar, and it turned out perfectly balanced. The tea had a subtle hint of winter melon, which was nice.

The matcha latte with aiyu jelly and red bean was equally satisfying. Opted for 30% sugar, and it struck just the right level of sweetness.

Both drinks were refreshing and well-crafted.

Also ordered the Yifang egg pancakes. The texture was great—the inside was slightly bouncy while the outside had a nice firmness to it. A tasty and fun addition to the afternoon tea.“

I would recommend this business, and don't sleep on the latte-based drinks; they're good and the milk is so creamy but damn did I get a cup full of ice!!!

Parking: Parking structure is free and near the store. Parking can be a little hard to find.“

“This is one of the best teas you can find! Great scones, although they should be served warm! Finger sandwiches, little cakes and pastries like mini lemon meringue, chocolate cake and sandwiches toppped with caviar! All very tasty and paired with beautiful China, with sugar cubes and various assorted teas. There should be a better selection of teas too... the staff is attentive and polite and the place is so elegant and historical too so quite memorable“
