“The food varies day to day, but the drinks stay. If you like coffee, they have good options, if you like smoothies, they have you covered. The workers are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of tables, and comfortable chairs. A nice place to study or hangout between classes or when the cafeteria is closed.“

“This place is really cool. Parking wasn’t bad, but I came early, there was lots of street parking available. Outdoor seating that is covered, plants outside, indoor seating with long tables as well as bar seating in the window and at the counter. Full bar, great Irish coffee, no Wi-Fi but they have the Oakland Public Wi-Fi available and that worked well for me. Definitely would come back. Music was bangin too.“

“Wowzer! What a nice place. Everything is homemade. I wanted to sit outside and the staff person carried a table out to the sidewalk. I ordered an Americano and a blueberry scone. Scones are a great indicator of an excellent baker, and this one was excellent. It was light, moist and full of fresh blueberries; so good in fact that I ordered a meat pie to go so I could have it for lunch. It too was exceptional.“

“Vibes were immaculate, the drink I got was not.
I got an iced kinfolx latte which has cinnamon, nutmeg , brown sugar and organge zest.
I couldn’t taste any of that.
The espresso was very very strong so if that’s your thing you will like it!
But the vibes and the baristas were great!“

“Got Cafe De Olla organic coffee and a bomb azz breakfast sandwich! It’s fresh, delicious and clean eating. Perfect foundation to start the day. So glad I found this local cafe. Bringing the wifey and kid next time ??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Cool drinks, yummy baked goods, awesome staff, sweet vibe. A real neighborhood joint with lots of great choices, including not just bona fide Vietnamese phin coffee, but also vegan and caffeine-free options. They also have boba, pudding, and jelly add-ins, with coconut, pandan, ube, and black sesame items. Just do it :)“

“I am surprised I didn't have a review for this restaurant earlier. The last time I came, I was obsessed the Next Level breakfast burrito, and I couldn't stop myself from getting it again! Their turmeric latte is delicious and worth the try. Have yet to come for lunch, but maybe next time I will get lunch. Breakfast ends at 10:30am, it looks like. There is seating outside at the parking lot, and it's covered if you'd like to sit and relax for a bit. While it's a small spot, it leaves an impression on you.
Parking: Approximately 30-40 spots but it also houses other businesses, and that can start to become crowded around 10am.“

“The best bahn mi I’ve had in the east bay!!! Fresh veggies, amazing flavor, hella vegetarian options!!! Also loooove the mint matcha. My partner is a big fan of the smoothies, particularly the almond butter one. The staff here are always so welcoming and kind. The vibes are great for a quick bite or to hang out and get some work done. Love this place.“

“We were in town because of the death of a friend. The staff here was so incredibly nice to us! They went above and beyond. We got breakfast and coffee here every day we were in town. It really felt like home. They remembered our names and our orders. We really felt like a part of the community. Big thanks especially to Eagle for taking care of us!“

“This was my first time eating here and I’m so impressed with the portions, prices and customer service. The owner/ manager I believe, is so friendly to everyone and I’ve never been to a small establishment that keeps checking on the customer about how the food is etc. I will be coming here instead of my usual trips to Peet’s coffee or Starbucks!“

“Such a cute place for Boba. They also have bamboo straws and are now offering hot drinks (and desserts?). The inside tables are rarely full and they have a couple of smaller outside tables as well. There’s a bathroom and the background music isn't too loud or annoying.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly“

“As a huge fans of acai bowl or any smoothie bowls, I really recommend this place. Among smoothie bowl places that i’ve been visited in Bay Area, this place has one of the most aesthetically pleasing bowls. The price is a bit higher compare to other smoothie bowl places, but it is worth it since they offer great variety of topping. The taste and the texture are okay. For me, I have anothe smoothie bowl place that I like more than this place in term of the taste, however, aesthetically-wise this palm-acai cafe is the winner“

“I get my nails done nearby and have been wanting to try this spot- today is my birthday and I have no plans so I decided to go next door grab a book and head over to have brunch. The restaurant is cozy and beautiful I love the plants the colors and energy very relaxing and inviting. I had my little dog with me in his purse and he was also welcomed lol. The staff are super sweet and patient. I ordered a tumeric ginger chai with 2 shots of espresso and an matcha almond croissant- amazing, a soya soya wrap- delicious and a cucumber mint lemonade with ginger beer. The food and drinks were so flavorful and fresh and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. I had a wonderful experience here and look forward to returning with friends or alone. Thank you!“

“Good place for to-go sandwiches and coffee because the place is small. I got checkin Pesto and Cappuccino, and both were really good.
Parking: There are plenty of parking. However, I am not sure if you have to pay because most of the meters are not working.“

“Made a random stop here last night thinking it was a bar. Turned out to be even better! The lady who served me was very patient and helpful in explaining Kava drinks to me (hadn't had them before).
After 2 and 1/2 Kava drinks, I found the secret to life!
Just to give you an idea of how good I felt... on my way home, I spent that time admiring flickering lights on storefronts as I made my way home. ?
If you're an introvert like me, this is definitely a place you'll want to check out. By the way, I have my introvert certification card so you can trust me when I say this spot is the spot! The open mic night was great and the people were all great!“

“Start to finish delicious! We used to go to her spot in the Fillmore District SF called Gussie's Chicken & Waffles. Had the Bloody Mary's Revenge and the basil ginger soda, deviled eggs, fried chicken & sweet potato waffles, and the fried chicken sandwich. You can run & tell everybody that this is the spot! DJ Mark Divita during Sunday brunch gave us the perfect musical pairings.
Parking: Parking garage underneath the museum.“

“Overall good but not outstanding - other than service, which was excellent. To be fair, I went on a Sunday morning which is probably not the best time. Brew coffee was non-offensive. Aero-press unavailable on Sundays. Pastries were pleasant - not the best I've ever had, but nice. Good lemon scone and Cinnamon roll was decent. I'd recommend on a weekday if you are in the area.“

“This place is out of this world. Most importantly, the staff are so personable that I love making this my stop whenever I can. This coffee shop is not on my normal path, but I don’t mind at all coming to be taken care of like this! They brighten my day and are so warming. Their oat milk lavender latte coffees and omega doughnuts are also amazing. Cute set up for outside seating, to enjoy your treats. Don’t let the vegan option only shy you away, guaranteed to find something you love. Win. Win. Win.“

“There were three in my party. We ducked in here to take a break from the cold rain. We ordered a chai, a golden/turmeric chai, and a caffé latté, all with oat milk. It’s our first try of oat milk. We all liked it a lot. The foam on my golden chai was lovely. I’d reorder it anytime. I tried my mate’s latté with oat milk, I can recommend it. The pastries we ordered were all worth the consumption. I’m so glad there was one pretzel cheese bun left. It was delicious even though it wasn’t warm. I highly recommend them. We also ordered a quiche, a chocolate croissant, and an almond pastry. They were all superb. The almond pastry which was super light and flaky tasted like baklava more so than an almond filling. I liked the vibe here. So often I want to grab my order and split, not here. I felt fine taking refuge from the outside environs. The staff were sweet regardless of their spoken English being nearly impossible to understand. It was cool assuming they were part of the refugee program. It felt good being a patron there and the inspired conversation it led to. I am sure my party was surprised I was already knowledgeable about the topic on current refugees. That made our café and conversation time only that much more enjoyable.“

“I went there after Gameday at Cal. (Go Bears! ?) I got a BAT sandwich which was super good, the bacon was in-between crispy and chewy and the bread was semi crispy! I also got peach lemonade which exceeded my expectations! It tasted exactly like peaches, it didn't taste artificial at all! The service was very quick only taking about 5 minutes. The atmosphere felt cozy (except for paramedics being in front of the store front) !“

“Hardest working cafe in Oakland! Lines can be long on weekends but the efficient staff churns along and smiles are everywhere. "E" for effort...and "P" for pastries! “I got the matcha green eye drink with oat milk and sugar free vanilla syrup. I honestly loved it because it wasn’t too sweet and the only sweetener in the matcha was the sugar free vanilla syrup which was perfect for me. It also has two shots of expresso which taste so refreshing. Overall it was a nice and relaxing place, and my drink was great.“

We sat on the street, watching the world go by while shoveling in the delishness. Affordable & we paid with card. Could use some fresh paint & some deep cleaning though. “The service and the food are top notch. Our server was friendly, courteous and accommodating. He raved about the owners who are excellent bakers and chefs. Outdoor dining space is really nice and everyone used their PPE except when eating. I had their avocado toast on a very generous slice of homemade sourdough batard, crusty on the outside and chewy goodness on the inside. I swear they gave me an entire avocado all sliced up evenly atop lemon goat cheese spread, and then topped off with a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt, cracked pepper, and a touch of arugula and pomegranate seeds. I asked for a side of egg which they served perfectly soft boiled with a hint of sea salt and cracked black pepper. They served this dish with a cup of fruit and this cup of fruit is not ordinary. It had Fuyu persimmon, red grapes, cantaloupe, and strawberries. Their coffee is hot and strong!!! The homemade sourdough batard toast was so good, I left with an entire loaf!“
