I hoped it wouldn’t disappoint and it didn’t. She had a turkey avocado and she said it was just right. The service was spot on&she cheered up a bit. Thanks for that Panini crew.“

The pizzas are well made with the finest of quality ingredients. The chicken wings are flavorful and are "meat-falling" off the bone soft. You'll have plenty of choices of fountain soft drinks. There is also a small private room in the back for parties that can accommodate about 30 people max, but 20-25 comfortably. So, what are you waiting for? “There's some slight confusion because ordering from "Slice of Hollywood" from Eat24, you get pizza from Pizza Nation, but that's no big deal. The food is GOOD. Best wings I've ever had delivered, and the pizza is really good as well. plenty of toppings, and so far I've only had great experiences with them. Great combo price deals too!“

The Marg with vegan pepperoni is like no other pizza I've tasted in my 10 years in California. The sauce! The cheese! The vegan pepperoni! The combination of these ingredients makes this pizza sing. The crust was lovely too. If I were to grumble about one thing, it would be the cost. The pizza, delivery, and tip ran $50. But honestly, I'd pay the same thing again (and likely will) for this delicious wonder, because the ingredients were quality and it was scrumptious. “I ordered a cheese pizza and one with chicken, pineapple and onion. Both were very tasty.
Also I ordered over the phone on their voicebit AI system and it was really easy.

My only complaint is that I wish the bottom was a bit more crispy. Otherwise, the pizza was yummy.“

-good hold/no flop
-neutral crust with no bubble, not crispy
-perfect amount of toppings, not soggy
-fresh ingredients
-sauce is a bit bland/plain

Also ordered the plain and pistachio cannolis, crust was fresh and ricotta was smooth. I’d personally introduce some tanginess/acidity like lemon juice/mascarpone/cream cheese.

Overall a reliable pick if you’re nearby, just need more seasoning/flavoring.“

“New York pizza is hands down the best if you’ve actually had it, and this place is the closest I’ve found in the East Bay. My usual go-to spots were Slice House and Mama Boys, but this tops both of them. The crust and flavor have that classic NY tang and chew I’ve been missing. I also tried their wings and cannoli—both really good. This is officially my new go-to pizza spot. Bonus: easy parking in Oakland!“

An amazing dining experience and the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had full stop - Priceless!

My second time here and much more of an intimate experience because I was by myself killing some time before I met friends at the Freight and Salvage.

My pizza was cooked perfectly - just the way I like it with some of the edges of the nickel sized pepperoni's a bit charged and bursting with flavor. The sauce, obviously an old family recipe had been cooking for hours and had a deep rich flavor. And the crust- ohh the crust held up well to the tomato sauce and had a chewy and crisp texture.

The kind young lady who was serving me was confident I could finish the Tiramisu no matter how full I was. She was right.

Matt says if you find yourself headed to downtown Berkeley either for a Cal event or to the Freight and Salvage, be sure to make reservations in advance and feast on some of the best pizza in the Bay Area. It's a small space and fills up fast

“I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!“

“The food was really good. The standouts were the Calamari Fritti, Caponatta, and the Cosacca. The Ruccola was the only dish that felt flat, but tasted fresh. Service was good and we luckily did not need a reservation. Would definitely return and it's recommended!“

“Pizza is surprisingly very good. The dough and crust is chewy and crispy at the same time. The tomato sauce has a right balance of tomato sweet and tang. And right amount so the pizza is not wet. I did not get the slices, just the whole pie. Pepperoni is good; the sausage could be more flavorful but I'm nitpicking. Highly recommend.“
